The first thing you should know about this restaurant is the name is actually Jay's Country Kitchen. I tell you this because I don't want you not stopping because it doesn't say Jeff's outside. Any who. What great breakfast. I'm from the South and have had my share of grits but what they do here with grits is freaking incredibly delicious. I literally don't have the words to describe how great they are to eat. Just trust me. Get the grits. The eggs were expertly cooked and liver pudding was perfectly spicy and meaty. The linked sausages were also fantastic. This will be our go to place for breakfast the next time we are visiting family here. Highly recommend. I just realized I didn't do a return review. I was here last about 4 years ago. It was good to see the community has supported the business and it's still looks well kept. Of course I saw the biscuit lady in the window and before I left there was a gentleman making biscuits in the window. The lobby and dining area was clean and organized. The service of course was friendly Southern Style. I got a Sausage and Egg Biscuit with a Side of Gravy to dip it in. Yum yum. Fresh biscuit was hot and the Gravy was steaming. Fresh Egg and good Sausage. I'm still more partial to another place as my number 1 for breakfast biscuits , but this is number 2. Last time I had the Country Ham and Egg Biscuit and a Steak Biscuit.
