I called another company for free mold testing. The technician arrived quickly and used a moisture detector on a few spots of the wall, then told me I could have a pervasive problem needing the wall opened. The whole "test" took around 10 minutes and I was quoted an arm and a leg. I called my insurance agent and the agent called M3 for an inspection. Angel came by the same afternoon. By the time he arrived, the water droplets were gone. He used his moisture detector and themo-imaging device, but couldn't find abnormalities. He had a hunch on what could have caused the water to build-up near the window but continued his investigation. He crawled up to my attic and confirmed that the condensation was because 1) my ceiling paint wasn't water-proof, 2) the family takes shower one-after-another and the bathroom was not well ventilated, and 3) there's an external vent on top of the window. These combinations resulted in the morning condensation that was all dissipated in the afternoon. The investigation took about an hour, including Angel patiently explaining how he confirmed his findings and ways to mitigate the condensation issue. Angel was professional throughout. I got to keep my arm and leg and can now rest assured knowing the issue wasn't pervasive and steps to prevent health risks. THANK YOU!
