Patsy's serves up some delicious eats and their patio? All blooming, shaded loveliness. The first thing to note is that if you're dining on the patio, you'll want to run inside and grab some menus. You'll order at the bar. For my dinner I ordered their patty melt served on marbled rye, which was everything a patty melt ought to be (so good!). For my side, I opted for the onion rings which were battered (I prefer this over breaded) and perfectly crispy. Zero complaints on the pub grubtastic food. I also ordered an whiskey old fashioned, which was prepared in the Wisconsin style and was great. The service was also lovely. When I was ordering, the gentleman in front of me explained that he had been coming here for 30 years and it's the same guy behind the bar--amazing. Also, I totally accidentally left my purse on the patio (I only had one drink--just a complete oopsie moment). I didn't realize until the next morning. When I called, they had it stashed behind the bar for me and I was even able to pick it up prior to their opening. Really, above-and-beyond lovely folks working here. Get to it!

My partner's Lake Superior Fish Tacos ($12) were also excellent, with the only regret that they weren't more of them. Finally, the service was excellent: we wanted to catch the sunset at the Cornucopia Beach and they rushed an order of trout out to us so we could make it. Meaning any meal that contained seafood, they didn't have. (we asked a lot of questions and it seemed any seafood was out) That's about 80% of the menu. Our server gave off a vibe that she didn't care whether or not we were there and I'm guessing that this is probably her first job? We all ordered soup and after sitting at our table for a good 15-20 minutes, I had to approach her at the bar and asked to see if we can get the soup prior to our meal being served. Her reaction gave me the impression she totally forgot we also ordered soup. After we were given our food, we were maybe halfway done eating when she started to bring all of our dessert to the table. So we are finishing up our meal while our dessert was sitting right next to us. They usually have several specials on the chalk board. I usually get the 1/2 rack of ribs. They are FANTASTIC. Super tender and the sauce is great. I've also had their chicken wings - great! On our most recent trip (the last week and a half) - I had the ribeye special with the loaded baked potato and coleslaw. It was cooked perfectly and super tasty. I left a few toppings off my loaded potato - l had butter, bacon and grilled onions. It was fluffy and delish. They have a nice menu. You can ride your ATV or snow mobile right up to the building or your John Deere tractor (like a customer had when we were visiting ). Tons of Forest service roads/trails all around the area. There is a drive thru + beautiful and plentiful spaces to sit with plenty of light. The staff and owners were so incredibly friendly. I had a latte with Cardamom and brown sugar. It was lovely. The design of their coffee cups is beautiful and suits the aesthetic indoors. And lastly, it was Easter weekend when I visited and I stumbled upon the most amazing egg hunt of my life. The staff hid plastic eggs around the store, and plenty. They encouraged us to find 1 each and I won a $15 gift card and my partner won a beautiful, re-usable glass. The gesture of seeing the owners give back to their community and seeing them welcome us passerbyers to partake in the fun meant so much. Everywhere I go in the world, I stop at local coffee shops.
