I can't say enough about this experience. High energy and unique concept, we spent most of the intimate show with our jaws open. Humor and talent balanced a comprehensive display of magic and audience participation. We left wanting more and while the price per ticket seemed high initially, within the first few minutes I was more than happy with what we got and the amount of talent for the ticket we paid. One thing to note is incense is heavily used which I thought was wonderful and tantalizing however, someone with asthma or sensitivity may want to take precaution before hand. read more

This was a fun date night with hubbs. We arrived early and found parking fairly easily. Make sure you have your ID because they do check at the door. They have a waiting area, by the bar, where you can stay warm on codler nights, prior to the show's start. I had my tarot read by one of the ladies and we sipped on a few drinks. They were pretty strong, so know you're getting your money's worth. All of the tickets are color-coded for where you sit. Once enough people entered, they opened the curtain to unveil the stage for the evening. They certainly pack a lot of surprises throughout the night. Make sure you eat before you come here because they don't serve food but they do have snacks, like chips and such. We had dinner right before. I would suggest doing that and incorporate some carbs, because their drinks, as previously mentioned, are strong asf! The show was fun and very interactive. Definitely grab seats in the middle of you want to be a part of the action. We were seated on the end and were called on a few times during the dlsbow, which was fun. The burlesque element intertwined in the shows magic theme and it was very good. The ladies and gents are amazingly entertaining. The vibe allowed strangers to mingle and we met a few people throughout the night. I don't want to give much away but there are different ticket levels, some that come with drinks and champagne. It's definitely worth the extra bit, at least for a first time visit. I would definitely be back, for sure! read more

Highly recommend! So this is how it works! They have soda type things the first two rows and then tables with 6 chairs each placed at 90 degree. If you're on the edge or front rows they may call on you. Now you can decide accordingly! They check your IDs so please carry them. This show is 1) Mixology - you order cocktails at the bar and you get some free during the show 2) Burlesque - amazing performances 3) Magic show - really nice sets with a decent intermission I won't divulge many details cos it will ruin the experience for you but please go for a special night or regular fun. Went for a bachelor party. I've never enjoyed burlesque but trying to be a good sport. This was next level. Amazing card tricks, phenomenal performers, fantastic vibes/decor and most importantly, fast paced and wicked fun. Drinks weren't bad either. Attended the Cocktail Magique show and had a great time! The venue is quaint. The insence scent was strong coming in but it subsided pretty quickly. All show actors and staff were incredible..from the security guy at the front to the performers. They didn't have food but we grabbed the cake pops they had available ($5 each) and they were very yummy. Took pics and video but don't want to give it away so not sharing more. Parking is not the best but a few blocks walk wasn't a big thing. Definitely recommend this show! read more

We had a great evening! It was a beautiful performance - I'm still in awe over the costumes and the crew was top notch. I loved how involved they got the audience. The venue is in Bushwick, and the show is performed by the sexy Company XIV. The space has kitschy decorations throughout the space, When the show starts, Sam, our ringmaster for the night declares "Candy is dandy, but liquor is quicker!" We were treated to an immersive cabaret with magic, burlesque, carnival acts, aerialists, singers. We loved all the acts. The burlesque performers were sultry and sexy. For one act with the song Hitting that Bottle playing, a performer walks across the stage on champagne bottles while doing a striptease. In another act, there is sword swallowing. Towards the end, A Chicken Ain't Nothing but a Bird is played while the performer tap dances in a "bucket of chicken" costume. There is some audience participation for those that want to volunteer for drinks. Light bites and some cocktails were included. I loved the presentation of the included cocktails. Some descended from the sky and for another, you had to figure out how to get it out from a lockbox Our upgraded package included a champagne drink with Cleopatras Pearl which are 'pearls' containing Lychee vodka. The food was tasty and we loved the 'chicken legs' for dessert. At intermission, you were given a chance to buy additional cocktails, which we did. We had a drink called smoke and mirrors where they blow a smoke bubble on top. Our bubble kept breaking, though:) We enjoyed our whole time there and the performances, food and drinks made the night over the top. read more

Had a blast! I absolutely loved it! If out for a good time check out Cocktail Magique. I've been to most of the burlesque-ish shows in Manhattan & Brooklyn and although all are good, this one was a blast. I'd say even better than House of Yes. They're all different & fun but this was an absolute blast. Everyone at the venue was crazy nice. The drinks are STONG! On purpose, of course. Get a little tipsy & enjoy the show. Hands down, this is the best date night in nyc right now. Yes, you have to journey out to bushwick which is far for us but 1000% worth it. Phenomenal show with amazing and engaging actors, intimate setting, fantastic costuming and stage design, a little raunchy, totally hilarious, high level illusions you wouldn't believe come out a smaller venue, and the finger foods that are served during the show are both delicious and creative, and the drinks are gorgeous. The actors do it all from greeting to seating to bartending to serving to performing. They are truly talented as well as incredibly friendly with guests. 10/10 experience, and we've already booked our seats for queen of hearts this fall. read more

Tell people they are paying hundreds of dollars to sit at a table with strangers. Bar tables are crowded bumping into the strangers next to and behind you. Your "upgrade" is a "cocktail" of their choosing-no one drinks gin these days. The "Magique" was subpar to say the least. Bar tender was rude. I would have went to a Broadway show for this price. Worth. Every. Penny. Outstanding performance, one of the greatest burlesque shows we have seen. So much talent, the production value was amazing. The drinks were excellent, the snacks amazing. Ambiance was stellar, the props, and costuming exquisite. The skills and tricks were mind blowing. We loved every minute. So glad we found this. Please visit, and tip well - these people were brilliant. I am out of superlatives! Note: the table seats are small-ish. The tables on the outer edges have half their seats with their backs to most of the performance - so pick the seats that face towards the middle of the room or you will be turning around a lot. It wasn't hard (I had to turn a bunch) but if I had known ahead of time I would have purchased the seat on the other side of the table. If you can afford it - buy the couch seats. No matter what though - it is a burlesque. If you are not OK with risqué, this is not for you. But if you're down - you'll love it and they also thrive on audience participation. read more

This is an absolute must visit. It is sooooooooo much fun, and the performers are so talented. The drinks are pricy, but you can get a bottle of wine for $60, which is pretty good. They also give out drinks during the show and snacks, which are delicious. The magic is great and all the performances are top notch. I'll definitely be returning. read more

The place and the show are great. The manager and the stuff were so rude and kind of racist to us asking us to not to laugh or make any kind of noise when Is a magic show then they stopped serving drinks to us because we were Latinos honestly so uncomfortable and sad :( read more

Be ready to be transported to another world where everything is served up with a bit of over the top finesse. The cocktails are magical, whimsical and delicious. The staging for the performance as well as the quality of the Jazz on Sundays creates an ambiance par none .. there are date nights and then there are date nights and cocktail magique is the latter . Easy place to get to (only one block from L train). Small cozy intimate venue. There is no bad seat, the very, very talented performers walk around the room. 2 small complimentary drinks and 3 small bites were a nice surprise. There were some groups there for birthdays and anniversaries - I can understand why because if you want to be entertained and see a fabulous burlesque show, this is place to go. Definitely will go back for a special occasion. It is a well produced Vegas show in your living room. Wonderful show. read more
