An Outstanding Experience Thanks to Addison and Michelle!…read moreTaking a road test can be a nerve-racking experience, and I was feeling quite nervous that day. However, my examiner, Addison, made a remarkable difference in my experience. When I was attempting to park on a hill, I became so nervous that I momentarily froze. He calmly told me, "Take your time, there's no problem." He also reassured me by saying, "I understand that you're nervous." His calm voice, kind expression, and genuine empathy immediately helped me feel more at ease. I regained my confidence and was able to complete the maneuver successfully. What made Addison truly exceptional was that he went beyond simply doing his job. He understood that behind the wheel was a person feeling nervous and under pressure, and he responded with patience, compassion, and reassurance. His kindness made me feel safe, supported, and confident at a moment when I needed it most. These qualities can make an enormous difference for someone taking a road test. I truly believe that his encouragement played an important role in helping me succeed. Thank you so much, Addison, for being not only a professional examiner but also such a kind and understanding person. Your calmness and empathy turned a stressful moment into a positive and memorable experience. I hope you know how much of a difference you make to the people you examine! I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to Michelle at the office. She was professional, warm, and incredibly encouraging. Before my test, she motivated me with words like, "You can do it!" When I returned to tell her I had passed, she genuinely shared in my happiness and said, "I knew you could do it!" What touched me most was that Michelle went above and beyond her professional responsibilities, making me feel as though I were someone she had known for a long time, even though we had only just met. Thank you, Addian and Michelle, for your kindness, encouragement, and genuine support. You made this important milestone in my life even more special. I highly recommend this location, especially for the wonderful people who make such a positive difference in the experience of others. Monica L.

Although I don't enjoy going to any government institution or government-sanctioned agency because…read moreof the inevitable sometimes unjust added sytemic expenses involved, I really must rate this registry office on its obvious merits. Over a dozen visits to Express have been most trouble-free: their effectiveness in dealing with so many public concerns has proven them to be relatively headache-free. It seems obvious that this place is run by business-minded people, which in contrast to most government-oriented services stands out as special. As well, their multi-cultural staff all are courteous even with complaining customers, and efficiently keep focused on the task at hand while gently commiserating with the disgruntled ones. As well, they have to deal with all kinds of accents and troublesome immigrant concerns like learner's permits, licensing and registrations. Soothing... My last time there was this past week, and when I had to get some docs from my insurer in Edmonton, they made it so easy to receive a needed fax, and then told me I'd not have to grab another number to wait in line again, but just make myself known 15 minutes later. I did so, and in only another few minutes I had everything done. Cool, eh? As I see that some registries are not run as efficiently, perhaps we should help people go to this one rather than elsewhere.

Horrible woman behind the counter, who seems to be a sociopath, with zero empathy for customers…read more Should never be allowed to work in a customer-facing job. She thinks that customers are a nuisance and if her eyes behind her little glasses could spit fire, I think she would do so. I am never going back there, and the sad thing is that this lack of service could easily be avoided. I went to the Marda Loop Registry and everyone there is very kind and helpful.

Then, I had someone from the branch leave me a voicemail saying they cancelled the renewal policy (it was not cancelled), so I had to call the general line, wait 1.5 hours and finally get it cancelled. Then they tell me the pre-month payment taken out will be refunded less their 5% service fee. I would not recommend them and will never go back even if their insurance quote is lower.

They give out free maps to members if your old school, or just like to look at the "Whole Picture" when planning a road trip. I don't use them for insurance either. What I do have is piece of mind when driving. I did use them to install a new battery in my son's car. They have a mobile battery service and don't charge you for an installation. I find that If you have the A.M.A app, you can have a battery install started within the app. I also use them for registering my vehicles, and for drivers license renewals. Also they offer driving school, and drivers testing exams. (Learners class 7, and drivers class 5). Overall, the service is professional, and the wait times if there are any go relatively quick. Been using them for years, and will continue to do so.
