Complained, and was told the insurance manager would phone me, but it never happened. Was told when I went back, to buy insurance elsewhere. Went in to complain to the manager of that location and was told she wasn't there that day but she would call. Never happened. Went there today to but a license plate for a vehicle I had just purchased, and now there is no lineup like there used to be, but was told to register and sit in the waiting room where people had been waiting for better than 20 minutes just to talk to someone. In my opinion, this location has reached bottom and has started to dig.

After a motorcycle accident in California our claim has been denied due to a misunderstood question apparently answered wrong in the application. These people have no apparent concern for making sure the application is filled out correctly when they take your premium. However, they have no problem obtaining every medical report from every doctor you have ever visited when you have a claim and they want to deny it. Our penalty for getting taken in by these people is estimated at $300,000.

In addition to roadside assistance - which is one of those services that you hope to never use but when you do, you're forever grateful you had it - AMA also affords you to numerous discounts. From hotels, to car rentals, to travelling and even certain kinds of entertainment. After a while, you become used to asking if there is an AMA discount associated with most services. One of the biggest advantages of the AMA membership for me is the cheap movie tickets. AMA sells Empire Theatre and Famous Players movie passes to their members. These passes are 20% cheaper than buying direct. That certainly helps, as I love movies. In Calgary, I have only ever used this location and the location downtown. They have been extremely helpful whenever I have gone. This location is definitely my preferred stop, as the downtown location tends to be busy and stressful. Always friendly faces!

They are there when you need them and do a great job. If you get their credit card the points go toward your yearly bill and many times I have gotten my AMA for around $20.00 Don't hesitate to be an AMA member.
