The venue itself is overall ok but the concessions are ridiculously overpriced. Get yourself food and drink at one of the many restaurants at The Battery and then come here. This place can learn a lot from the Mercedes-Benz stadium. Small clear bags only. I wish the venue had some monitors around so we short people in the back can see. Some of the nicer venues I've been to even have monitors in their bathrooms. Would I come here again? Maybe. Only if we win free concert tickets or if prices were better or if there is a band I am dying to see. read more

I've been to several concerts here, and the venue itself is solid. The line to get in through security is typically organized and flowing, and they do a good job of getting wristbands and tickets checked. I've never had trouble seeing the stage from the general admission area and the sound quality is great. On the downside, the line for drinks can get backed up and the battery itself is a pain to get to, with limited public transit options and expensive parking. read more

You can find the Coca-Cola Roxy at 800 Battery Ave SE Ste 500, Atlanta, GA 30339. There's a main parking deck that's going to cost you $20 if you're attending a concert so be aware and potentially think about using Uber or Lyft. If you use Waze/G-Maps it will direct you to the main street entrance - instead take the dedicated lane from the 41 exit which takes you directly to the parking deck. This was my first visit to the new Roxy, I was a frequent visitor to the old (last concert there was Squeeze pre-pandemic). On this visit 2021.10.19 we're attending Elvis Costello and the Attractions - as it's been several years since we last saw him in concert we were quite excited. Upon arrival you're ID checked and banded (if you're drinking alcohol) and also required to have proof-of-vaccination against Covid-19 or a negative test from the last day or so. This new location is pretty nice with clean bathrooms, something the old Roxy wasn't famous for. The room has an open floor concept with a stage about 5 feet above the floor with a mezzanine on both sides and the back accessed via stairs. There are bars on each level where you can purchase beer, wine, mixed drinks and a limited menu of food items. Above you'll see several chandeliers, reminiscent of the glits provided by the original Buckhead venue. The second floor is interesting as it has "booths" around the railing with lounge chairs and small tables - this area also appears to have service (meaning there's a server who will take your orders). There's also a separate lounge with its own bar behind some doors, presumably for private event space with upstairs bathrooms around the corner. As indicated the main area is open and on this night completely covered in folding chairs zip-tied together. I'd estimate seating at about 500 possible including the mezzanine - the chairs made for a really cramped situation but luckily it wasn't filled to capacity - there were a few open chairs on each row as you move back from the stage. Elvis and the Attractions came on stage close to the 8:00 PM start (about 4-5 minutes late which is on-time for most bands), there was no opening act. As the band started the mixing was really bad with the keyboard over-powering Elvis' voice - it was difficult to tell if his vocals were shot or if it was a technical problem - combined with the cramped seating (felt like I was on top of the person to the right) we decided to make our way upstairs where there were far fewer attendees. Once upstairs the sound got a whole lot better - seems the initial poor quality was mostly due to inadequate preparation in the mix - it took the third song to straighten things out to the great music we were expecting. We went for a couple of drinks - purchased one beer and one soda so with tip about $20. Service was good and the bartender attentive and patient. The ushers were all really attentive - as the venue filled up we were asked if we wanted to move closer to the rail (2nd floor) so we ended up in one of the "box seats" to stage left. From there to the end it was an amazing experience with the band belting out many favorites (most were saved to the end with newer cuts in the beginning). Overall I like this venue - there's room to leave the are close to the stage open for attendees that want to stand much like the old Roxy - I do think they need to invest in more comfortable GA seating on the floor - something a bit wider but for many concert goers this wouldn't be a concern. The bar service was good (a bit limited with no variations between the bars - they all had the same menu) and the ushers seemed well trained and in general accommodating. We also had tickets for Patti Smith the same week, same location but unfortunately cancelled. read more

This was strictly a work event. The chairs were very uncomfortable. The staff was nice but a little pushy with checking our bags. I didn't feel like it was a particularly clean. The acoustics were pretty good for the speakers. I didn't have any food for this particular event so I can't speak to that. The bar areas were cool looking and wide-open. (5/31/19) Mastodon / Coheed and Cambria / Every Time I Die It was my first time going to Coca-Cola Roxy for a show, and overall I was fairly impressed. The show was incredible, I was really there for Mastodon, and they blew the roof off the place. Venue specific things to know: 1. Located at The Battery (where Suntrust Park is) they've built a mini town, almost Disney-like, with shops, bars and restaurants. Having a venue bringing high-profile acts makes a lot of sense. 2. Admission and security were surprisingly fast, which made for quick entry and a bolt to the bar for food and a drink before the show. 3. Food and Drink - Honestly, prices were lower than I anticipated. The food is nothing to rave home about, we were just content to receive it in a reasonable amount of time. If you have the time (which we didn't), eat somewhere beforehand. If not, this will do for survival. 4. The most important part comes down to the sound of the bands and the views from the floor, and in my humble opinion these were both on par. The bands sounded fantastic, and there wasn't a bad seat in the house. The floor is much larger than other prestigious clubs I've been to. On top of all that, with it being a newer venue the place was impeccably maintained and well-kept. Comparatively to most rock concerts I've been to, I walked out clean as a whistle. I wanted to take a moment to commend Jack for his exceptional kindness and professionalism at The Sad Summer Fest. During the concert, Jack went above and beyond to assist my young daughter who was feeling overwhelmed and distressed. His compassion and genuine concern towards by daughter was nothing short of amazing. He took the time to engage with my daughter and offered her reassurance and comfort to calm her down. My daughter, being 12 years old with autism, was in an unfamiliar place and he was able to get us seats upstairs and really made us have an amazing first concert. I would just love to thank him for making this concert memorable and enjoyable and we are counting the days until we are able to return. read more

I came here for a work event but it was actually a lot more fancy than I had anticipated. Luckily, I was strutting with my favorite Valentino's. When you first enter the main area there are six gorgeously lighted chandeliers smiling down with hanging crystals that look as if raining on you. There is another smaller area where the doors can close off for more privacy. The best part about this place is that the bars are on all the surrounding walls! That's what I call getting my drank on! Okay I'm giving it 3.75 stars. I went to this venue for the first time for the One Hallelujah Tour. I opted for the VIP package which boasted elevated food, drinks, and the lounge. Also a separate entrance and restrooms from the general admission group. One thing to note, the kitchen closes at 8pm and I'm not sure but it seems like the place to get food might be for everyone and not just the VIP experience but I didn't get to order so there's that. I asked the people who got snacks about the popcorn and they said it tasted stale. I bought water and it was $12 something for that. I had floor seating which is your folding chair from church and they have the seats bound together which if you're hippy and sitting with a hippy friend, it's not the most comfortable but we were standing a lot anyway. It was nice that they had some of the song lyrics above the stage but I think some tv screens would've been great. Granted standing helps but screens wouldn't hurt. They do have tvs in the EP lounge, along with a bar, and some black leather seats. It's a nice set up and the VIP entrance was great because we didn't have to stand in that long line. We didn't to walk super far but the parking deck right beside the venue, had road closure but apparently they were offering $50 valet. We paid $20 to park in the Delta Lot near the Braves stadium lower gate. Those folding chairs need cushions, an announcement or signage saying the kitchen closed at 8p would've been great, and maybe lowering that prices a bit because $6 foot water is crazy. read more

These people are a MESS. How are you going to allow 200+ "fast pass" tickets?! Most people didn't even know about them but there were people in the line that traveled from different states and still camped the line early in the morning. The process was a load of CRAP. If you wait in the line that early and get a wrist band for being in the first 100 in the line that should count for something. Grumpy line guy needed to fix his attitude also. IF YOU GET TICKETS AT THIS VENUE THEY SELL FAST PASSES FOR $30 so if you don't see them on the ticket site you're purchasing from just know the venue separately sells them. We went to see Kevin Hart last night and it was a horrible experience. For starters, the event was extremely unorganized. It was pouring rain and staff was nearly non-existent to give proper line instruction for doors that opened late. There were no crowd control protocols or line barriers; it was loosely a free for all which contributed to massive amounts of people blatantly cutting line. I'm surprised no fights ensued over this. Most of the crowd was soaking wet and security forced everyone to discard their umbrellas unsecured, outside in the rain. We had AA 1st row balcony seats that ended up having a 100% obstructed view! Are you F-ing serious??? Who designed this place? They place table seats along the entire side of the balcony that obstruct the entire view of anyone sitting on the first few rows of the balcony. I'm over 6' and could only occasionally see the performer through a gap when someone temporarily shifted. So, after going through that madness sitting there feet wet, clothing half soaked, I couldn't even see the entertainers. A lady belligerently argued and cursed at guest behind her for several minutes and no security showed to escort her out. The event appeared extremely understaffed. When the show was over staff would not open the multiple doors to let the massive crowd out. Instead, they held everyone and the lobby quickly filled like a sardine can. For some strange reason they insisted on funneling over 2,000 people through TWO DOORS, leaving everyone to search among thousands of umbrellas for their needle in the haystack in the rain and chaos. I won't be returning to this venue until they workout this BS. read more

This was the worst concert venue experience I have had! This was our first time going, we went to see Elvis Costello. I guess because of the age of the crowd (LOL) they had full seating on the floor not general admission. The seats were regular folding chairs, wasn't great but I didn't mind, until I realized they were zip tied together. So you literally had no room to move. The person on my left was completely in my space, not her fault as she had no room either, my friend on my right was leaning in to me as the man to her right was completely in her space with his big puffy jacket on. The only lucky thing was we were in the last row on the left of the floor, so we ended up having to stand behind our seats the whole show. The pic attached shows the seat in front of me and the cramped conditions. One plus, standing behind our seats gave us a place to set our drinks. It was worse than a Spirit Airlines seat. Also, being that there is no slope in the floor like most general admission theaters have, it made it harder to see. I thought maybe we should have gotten balcony seats, but after reading others reviews, it does not look like seating is any better or any less obstructed. I won't even mention the difficult in finding our seats, other peoples reviews have. Next, was the fact that the sound was muffled. When I walked to the back of the venue I realized how bad the sound was where we were sitting under the balcony. Also, the balcony is so low, it hinders some of the view. Lastly, I know the price of everything is going up, but the bar prices were just stupid. $15 for a can of wine, $15 + for a beer, and any liquor drink started at $20 +. So all in all, no reason to ever return to this venue. One of the only good things I have to say, is the staff were very nice and friendly. read more

My husband and I saw Lord Huron at the Roxy on 6/19. We had "front row" seats in the balcony. The ticketing process was deceptive because although not shown on the venue map, there's an additional row of seating in front of the "front row." We ended up with seats with an entirely obstructed view and couldn't see anything. I do not recommend sitting in either end section in the balcony because you will not be able to see if you are in a low row. The band was great, but the Roxy is the worst music venue in Atlanta in my opinion and I will never see another band there again. read more

We came here for an Atlanta Braves' A-List members-only event at the beginning of August 2021. I'm only going to address the venue, because it was actually a Braves' organization event. The Coca-Cola Roxy was very clean - clean enough for lots of people to sit on the floor. This was necessary because only the ground floor was open for the event, and there weren't that many tables and chairs - certainly nowhere near the amount needed for everyone to be able to sit down. Most of the bar areas were open, but there was one bar area that should've been completely closed off (but wasn't), and it had pallets in that area and it looked messy and disorganized. There was a live band playing, and the sound and lighting systems sounded well and looked nice. There was a large open area in front of the stage, and many people took advantage of this space to dance to the music. The ground floor was spacious enough for caterers to set up self serve food stations away from the dance area so that people could get their food and not be in the way of people on the dance area or those on the floor watching the band. read more

AC blasting, multiple areas to purchase drinks/snacks, ample space where you don't feel packed, and could see what's happening on the stage and I felt SAFE. My daughter, niece and I attended the Twenty One Pilots concert on 11/4. The band was excellent. The venue was horrible. We arrived early to get in line. We waited in the cold for several hours. We got inside and were in the front 1/3 of the pit. I have been in so many shows and in the pit, but this was the worst so far. 1. There was no crowd control. 2. They oversold the show. This venue is supposed to seat around 3500, but there was almost 1000 more. 3. At one point, Tyler Joseph had to tell people to stop fighting at his show. Security did nothing to escort them out. 4. The concessions were completely disorganized. You ordered at the bar and has to fight through the crowd in order to get food at a table near the stage. 5. The sight line was horrible. I feared my daughter was going to get injured, so we left the pit and went to the back. I will never attend another show here again, and maybe not another Live Nation venue. read more

this place is very unorganized. Went to the John Mulaney show, he was amazing. This is not an indication of how funny he is because the show itself was awesome!! This venue and their inability to communicate instructions properly is a disaster. we bought the tickets online and nowhere did it say you had to have a Covid vaccination proof or a test. when we arrive to the venue we saw the signs. We went to the front to ask the people working there what this was about because we had no information about it. How are we supposed to know these things? To which we were informed: "see there's a sign here". ...uhh that's not how you instruct people that they need a Covid test or vaccination before hand. Then we went to the ticket booth employee who works for both the Roxy and live nation. they told me it's actually ON the tickets online and that I just missed it. So I pulled up my ticket after which time they proceeded to say "huh guess that's a mistake i don't see it. well it's on the website or emails. maybe it's in your spam emails. I'm not really sure. it's really the performer who wanted this. sorry.We do have Covid test available if you need one." unorganized and placing blame. They absolutely should have Covid restrictions and requirements but they should also communicate it properly. just to be clear we have been vaccinated and had copies of our Covid vaccination- because we always do- but that's not the point. The venue shouldn't be like this at all. going inside it looks like a gymnasium, they have basic plastic uncomfortable chairs that are squished in together. it's so difficult to find labeling. The show was amazing, John Mulaney is hilarious. The ladies selling drinks and food were incredibly nice. this venue needs to get better chairs, better spacing/leg room, better instructions and better communication. I expected better from the venue. BUT John Mulaney was hilarious and I do recommend his show!! ultimately he made the experience a lot better. We attended the Eric Nam show here last week. It was our first time attending a show here & really enjoyed the experience. We had encounters with 4 different employees while attending the show and they were all excellent. Really enjoyed the fact that they have seating upstairs and that the building is accessible for all patrons. They have multiple locations to get a drink and the staff at the upstairs bar was so nice! I understand why they don't but I do wish they had lids on their drinks though b/c we saw at least 5 people spill their drinks in 30 minutes. We had a great view from the second to the top row. Unless you get stuck behind the pillar at the top back I don't think there's any bad seat in this venue actually. We'll definitely be attending future shows here. read more

I went to see LOONA on August 23rd with my mom, and we had a great experience! We arrived to The Battery, which is the shopping area surrounding the Coca Cola Roxy, at around 4 pm. We had pre-purchased a Delta parking lot pass along with our tickets, which is a great idea if you're driving to the venue- it's much cheaper to pay for the parking ahead of time. While waiting for the doors to open, we ate at El Super Pan, a delicious Latin restaurant nearby the venue that I highly recommend! Once the doors opened at 6 pm, we joined the long line of people in general admission that had formed throughout the entire day. After waiting for about 45 minutes, we got past security and then into the venue, and were directed towards our seats. Row J is the second-to-last row in our section. We had a good view from our seats in that row. Once the concert started, since the row above us was unoccupied, we decided to move up there and enjoyed a better view. The seats in the last row, especially the ones more towards the center, have the best view of all the balcony seats. From where we were, it's not like we could see the members' faces- if that's what you're looking for, you might want to aim for barricade spots instead. However, we had a great view of all the dance formations, and I could still distinguish each member from afar. It was a comfortable, yet still very fun seat to be in! Overall, the staff were helpful and friendly. The venue was also clean, and I didn't notice any sound/technical issues during the show. This was my first concert since before the pandemic started, and I'm really happy that I had this wonderful experience- thank you to LOONA (not to MyMusicTaste, a very unprofessional and incompetent organization which is grossly mismanaging this tour to the detriment of the members' health) and to the Coca Cola Roxy! read more

Very nice venue! It was my first event here and it was cool! I did arrive a bit late, so the place was kinda wrecked when I got there! Drinks were typical event drinks ..not every strong but not a glass of juice either! We pre-paid for parking & parked in the Delta lot! We had quite a ways to walk to the entry, but we felt secure nonetheless! We each purchased a VIP lounge access ticket, but I still can't tell you what that looks like! If the Braves are playing good luck finding room in a garage or paying less than $40 for parking. The seats in the seating section are plastic and uncomfortable. Came here to see Marina on 9/21/19. The venue itself is beautiful and nice, which makes sense as it's pretty new. It's located in The Battery in northwest Atlanta, next to SunTrust Park. This can be a major issue if there's a Braves game at the same time as the show you're attending, as parking will be sparse unless you're there very early. Unfortunately, there was a game when we visited and we had to drive around for a while to find a spot. This is my only major gripe with the venue and I think The Battery should do it's best to add additional garages exclusively for The Coca Cola Roxy. Until then, plan accordingly. I otherwise enjoyed my time here. The acoustics were fantastic, the bartenders served quickly, and there wasn't a bad seat in the house. Walking around The Battery afterward was fun and reminded me of going to shows at the Orlando House of Blues in Disney Springs. read more

The bag policy was not communicated clearly enough, so my friend and I ended up having to leave our stuff in a kind stranger's car. The seats are uncomfortable and super close together. We recently went to see James Bay here, on March 6th. I figured this place would be nice but, it completely exceeded my expectations! First off, the building is so nice, and the location is the nicest location for a venue that iv ever been to. it is walking distance from 2-3 restaurants, some hotels, and some shops which i though was super nice. Upon arrival into the venue, they checked through our purses and patted us down which i really appreciated that for safety. And all of the staff members we dealt with were super friendly In the concert area, our show was standing room, but there were seats available for purchase on the 2nd floor and every single seat in the venue was a good, which i really appreciate being we have dealt with wheel chairs and such in the past and with that, needing seats and you usually can't see, but this venue, every seat was a good one! They have 6 blue chandeliers hanging over head which really set the atmosphere. It was all around a perfect and seamless concert experience that I'll never forget, and the venue was a big part into making that happen! read more

Great to see another venue option in Atlanta. There is covered parking and a ton of food options. We got there very early for a concert which was good because people were already in line outside of the venue. Make sure to take a friend to hold your spot in line in case you need to use the restroom or get a bit to eat. The venue itself is very open and has plenty of room. There was seating upstairs and the bottom was open for standing when we went. We went to see Kane Brown and the sound was great. There seemed to be plenty of security to handle anyone who had too much to drink. There were a few people who got out of hand and tried to push their way to the front but they were quickly sent to the back. It is located directly across from the new Braves baseball field so you have every food option under the sun. We saw a burger place, a bar, a chicken place and everything between. Came here for the Miguel concert. This is a really nice venue. It has the concept of the tabernacle but definitely more space. There are plenty of bars both upstairs and downstairs and decent sized bathroom as well. The lines got a little long for both but that's expected when you go to the bathroom or bar during an intermission. The drinks are extremely pricey but you could obviously get something cheaper from a normal bar. They also had a few food options which is nice, I didn't have anything though. We had balcony seating right behind the vip tables and the view was great as long as you stood up. But why would you sit down at a concert anyway? Also we paid $20 for parking out the suntrust park so be prepared for that! read more

I saw Coheed and Cambria with Mastodon at the Roxy. The venue itself is very nice, and the staff was friendly. We had balcony seats, and from what I can tell, there are no bad balcony seats. We were close to the back, but had a very clear view of the stage. Sound was also very good. In my experience rock/metal shows tend to sound muddy if sound design is not on point. At this particular show both bands were very clear. Very loud, but very clear. Earplugs aren't a bad idea. I say that having attended over 300 shows at other venues. I docked a star because of the location. It is literally AT Suntrust stadium. I doubt it's a problem most of the time, but the day we went, there was a Braves game. We arrived one hour prior to doors opening and found the parking areas full. We ended up driving to Cumberland mall to park and took Lyft back to the venue. The ride share pickup/drop off is directly behind the Roxy. After the show, the pickup area was congested, likely because of the Braves game. Overall the Coca Cola Roxy is a nice venue. It's clean, has friendly staff, and sounds great. Just be aware that parking may be an issue if an event is simultaneously happening at Suntrust park. read more

Went to see Band of Horses on 12/30 and they were fantastic. One of the best shows I've ever seen. The venue is just really frustrating though and I'll never return. Some things are good-circulation, lots of bars, food, good lighting, good sound, friendly staff. Some things are standard complaints-$12 drafts. But there were two things that almost ruined the show- 1)there are lots of monitors on the wall that show messages in red and black block letters on white saying stuff like "no drugs allowed" and "no moshing" and "see something say something." The messages rotate every few seconds and it's like something out of 1984. 2) on the second floor there is seating. But the first row are these cool tables with waiters called "box seats" that are only sold as season passes to big corporations. There's no way for individuals to buy them. And about half were empty. And they block the view of the stage unless you stand up to see over them. So the best seats are impossible to get unless you happen to work for Halliburton or whatnot. So half of the tables were empty because the law firm partner didn't know who Band of Horses was and the seat stayed empty instead of letting a fan buy it. The next best seats are reserved for platinum Amex card holders only. These two features of the venue made me think about how rock and roll is getting so much for rich people. Hard to enjoy the show and I'll look for other concert halls. read more

I wish I could give this janky-ass club negative stars, but since I can't I'll settle for one. My husband and I bought tix to see Sisters of Mercy on 9/27/24. We were super excited to go - love SOM and love Atlanta, looked forward to checking out a new venue. Because of Hurricane Helene we were watching the club's social media on Thursday night to see if the show would go on, especially since SOM had cancelled Thursday's St. Augustine show due to weather. But CCR had no updates. We live in SC and lost power for about 12 hours; when the power came back on Friday afternoon we checked again to see if the show was happening - nothing. We decided not to drive in because we didn't know what the roads looked like and we assumed the show would be cancelled/postponed since there was no updates Around 3:00 Friday afternoon the venue finally gave an update: show was still on - in 4 hours, despite outlying area having road closures, etc. Okay, they can't control the weather, but there was almost no communication, they offered no refunds / postponements for those who were unable to make it due to the storm, and in a very shitty move, they disabled the re-sell feature for the tickets, so you couldn't even re-sell! Then they deleted all the negative comments (there were quite a few) left on their social media. But hey, they got everyone's money, and I guess that's what counts. We go to Atlanta several times a year for shows and always have a great time. We had tix a few years ago for a show at Chastain Park and the show was cancelled/postponed due to weather and they handled it like professionals, offering refunds or honoring our tickets for a later show. This was the first time we bought tickets for a show at CCR and it will be the last. Shame on you. read more
