Visited Cobblestone Auto Spa (1536 N Val Vista Dr) while in Gilbert, AZ. Unfortunately, my experience here raised serious concerns regarding professional conduct and customer security. I'm fairly certain my credit card was compromised at this very location. The reason I say that is simple -- it was the only place that particular card had been used at all. When I handed my card to the female attendant, she noticeably reacted to the metal card, tapping it on her clipboard and making a "hmm" type of remark. She then walked away to process the payment and was gone for an unusually long time -- long enough that it raised immediate concern about what was happening with the card out of sight. Shortly after, my credit card company contacted me to report that the card had been compromised. Naturally, I reached out to the company to report the situation and request that it be investigated. I exchanged several emails with their customer service department and asked that the matter be reviewed, including checking the cameras. Unfortunately, the lack of follow-up and seriousness in addressing the concern was disappointing. From the response I received, it appeared the issue was simply passed along with no meaningful update or accountability, which only reinforced my concerns. When something involving customer financial security is raised, I would expect a much more proactive and transparent response. Overall, a very disappointing experience, and based on how this situation was handled, I would not return. This place is an absolute joke. Went in for a light detail and handwash on my new F150. I specifically told them I didn't want the automated brushes touching my truck. The shifty sales rep then proceeds to go into his sales pitch of upselling. He sells me the "handwash" and assured me that the rotary machine brushes wouldn't touch the truck, so then I walk in to wait for the detail and see my truck on the conveyor belt going thru the automated wash. I was absolutely livid. Then to make matters worse, I had $150 on a car detail gift card from cobblestone. I give it to the sales rep and could tell that he got a bit flustered, like the "negotiation" wasn't counting on a gift card. So instead of just reducing my $225 balance by $150, he gives me some mumbo jumbo about how the prepaid detail only applies to their "higher end services," as if spending $225 isn't high end enough for them. Instead they used like $130 of the card and said "the remaining $20 will have to be used in a future service." Ha!! I can assure you there will not be a "future service." Dealing with this people feels exactly like dealing with some bait and switch used car dealer. Tried to talk to the manager and he just nodded and couldn't give a rip. Never again. Ever. ***also, please note, the guys doing the work were great. They did an excellent job. I have an unlimited plan at Cobblestone and pay monthly. I have always been satisfied with the service at any of the Cobblestones throughout the East Valley. Yesterday I took my new Bronco Sport into this Cobblestone. They must have used a dirty rag to wipe it down and they scratched it. When I brought it in today to show them, I got laughed at by an unprofessional and unpresentable looking representative and was rudely sent on my way. I will never take my car into this Cobblestone again and am considering canceling my membership. read more

Read the reviews. They are accurate!! I wish I would have first to avoid The rotten experience. Got and full interior exterior detail and added extra charge for mat clean. When I went to get in I saw driver mat still was had dome dirt on it but the rest looked good in the front area. Went about some errands and when putting groceries in I saw All mats were dirty and carpet was not vacuumed. I had to drive back to Cobblestone and told them no mats were cleaned and they didn't vacuum or clean the back seat or back hatch area. I had to wait another 20 minutes. The gentleman told me he took care of all mats and vacuumed and cleaned. I saw he had completed front and back seats but should have checked the tailgate back!! I went home and looked in the back and They had done nothing again!! The hadn't even touched The back area again!!! I will be going back tomorrow to fix this as I paid but will never go again. read more

The workers we interacted with were all friendly and the service was fast. My dogs shed a lot so my floor mats are always covered with hair. They can barely wipe windows and don't even know how to vacuum the interior. I get I have a dog but you can still vacuum and get most of it, if not all. Terrible for the price that was paid. $28 car wash and $6 tip. They also put the wrong scent in. Tons of water streaks, overall just ass. Should not come here ‼‼‼ I won't ever again. I paid $60 for a wash and had a very disappointing experience from start to finish. When I arrived, I asked the attendant whether he wanted the key card or if I should leave it inside the vehicle. He told me to leave it in the car. After waiting inside for about 25 minutes -- and watching several customers who arrived after me get their vehicles and leave -- I went to check on mine. I found my car still sitting at the front of the line. The attendant then told me it had been locked and that was the issue, but no one ever came inside to notify me Instead of taking responsibility for the issue, he gave me an attitude, even though I had followed his instructions. To make matters worse, when I finally got my vehicle back, the quality of the wash was very subpar, especially considering the $60 price point. Overall, this was a frustrating experience with poor communication, lack of accountability, and disappointing service. I would not recommend this place until they bring in stronger management to properly support and oversee the team. read more

This is just Corporate greed paid $36.00 for a car wash and $4.00 for a tip. I looked at my car and there was still dust all over the dash and counsel and the floor was still had debris on it. I asked the young lady if cleaning the dash and floor was part of the package and she's like we just wipe it down. So, I go n look at my tires and the side I can't see is not done. I asked two people to talk to a manager and they weren't available. For $36.00 you get your car wiped down now ... that used to be the top of the line cleaned inside and out at most car wash's. That's two hours of work for someone making $20$ an hour just to get a crap wash!!! These companies don't care about us at all!!! read more

Went here to get my truck washed and at the end of the wash the blowers cracked and blew apart my front grill surround.  on the fords this is plastic, but still decorative.  I filled a clim immediately and we reviewed video on the spot and we could see the surround was intact when i entered the car wash, and you can see it blow apart at the dryers.  A few days later i got a call that claimed they will not pay for repairs or offer any compensation, as a matter of fact hey claim they can see a hairline crack on the grill surround and that was the cause not them.  They deny any responsibility and take no accountability for the damage.  Lessons learned, never use the corner car washes and definitely avoid Cobblestone and this particular location at Warner and McQueen for sure. read more

On the bright side Cole was super helpful, but melanie who was doing the oil change was a less pleasant experience. The girl working the garage told me my car will blow up if I don't pay for the $100 oil change, which is entirely not true and tacked on all these other fees. I wouldn't expect pink tax to come from another woman. I've had my oil changed before, and my car hasn't blown up from using cheaper oil. Refusing to change the oil unless it's full synthetic and throwing a fit when I tell you I'm not paying $200 for an oil change and an air filter is ridiculous. read more

Disappointing customer service at Cobblestone Car Wash on Val Vista Our family has four cars on the monthly wash plan, and we've always loved coming here. The team is usually friendly, professional, and does a great job -- most of the employees are fantastic and truly make the experience great. Unfortunately, our most recent visit was overshadowed by poor customer service from an employee named Jason. My daughter was pressured to purchase a full car detail, and when she politely declined, he told her, "Then we aren't going to clean your car." He also charged her friend after she had clearly said no, which was completely unacceptable and caused an unnecessary hassle to get the refund. It's disappointing because we've been loyal customers and genuinely appreciate the rest of the staff. We hope management addresses this issue and provides Jason with proper training in customer service and professionalism, so all customers -- especially younger ones -- feel respected and valued. read more

I get my oil changed regularly here with Bobby... today I went to get my other vehicle looked at because it wasn't time for an oil change but I was curious if they could see any leaking because I've noticed a few spots in my garage. Jacob went down took a look and said he cleaned a few areas off and told Me to come back if I notice anymore spots... the oil team has always been top notch to me. Unfortunately, the pricing for full service options was removed from the outside of the building so there was nothing to go off of besides trusting this employee's word. When I asked about options, he told me the cheapest option was $40 for a wash with a "dust and vacuum". Come to find out later it was ACTUALLY the most expensive option and included items I specifically said no to (ie lotioned leather, etc). To make things worse, when the car was finished, I hopped inside to find that the back seats hadn't even been touched. Ridiculous. Hope the extra couple of bucks they swindled out of me was worth the one star review. Poor customer service with dishonest employees. Don't go here. read more

I have a package for ten bucks a month that gets the job done ( drive through wash and self vacuums ). Unfortunately I had a not so great experience with someone who tried to help me out with a headlight . Long story short , Ended up making the headlight worse than it looked when I came in. I had to talk to several people and also go online and find an email address and jump through a bunch of hoops just to get them to fix the mistake of one of their workers. I suppose I should have looked at the overall reviews before bringing the truck in. In any event, it needed a serious wash after a long road trip. We agreed on $414 for a hand wash, interior detail, ceramic coat bs and what not. I explained to them that they had all afternoon to handle and could keep it overnight if it warranted. This truck is a dually, I'm not going to expose anyone to liability running it through an automated wash. I recieved a call 7 minutes to closing- stating it was ready, tipped the gentlemen bringing it out and walked around the truck, to my dismay multiple things were missed. Dirty panels were everywhere, interior and mirrors still show streaks, weathertech matts still dirty. Now- I gave them the he opportunity to make it right after the fact- it's still not right for the price. First experience was in 2019 I dropped off my Nissan Sentra for a detail ran about $120 first thing in the morning so recently I was getting ready for a weekend event and had a super schedule so I wanted my Nissan Armada detailed I will never come back I brought my suv in for a detail end of day mind you I paid $425 or so and I picked up the vehicle I didn't think to inspect it 6pm next morning as I'm getting off of work ( overnight shift ) day of event I noticed some debris at the back side of the car still there well I call and my sales person Mateo said bring it in , not having enough time we take it in and his team is trying to offer more services and ask for more money of course, they said what I paid for was a detail and a detail only , the back of the interior still had minor spots they didn't clean and a fog light was left broken and my third row seat no longer moves up and down, I need my seats to go down for my side job so I can put my supplies in my vehicle, corp was called she then told me to go back and ask for a damaged claim form and to fill it out that it will be taken care of, I get there the cashier then calls the store manager who treated me like complete shit in front of my special needs grandchild telling me his store did not cause damage to the seat that the motor went out from wear and tear , I told him my seat worked perfectly fine I told I bet it was submerged with water and that's what caused damage he said they no longer spray the interior of the cars that there's a different process and he was not allowing me to fill out the damage waiver and told me to leave I told him I was going to call corporate back , the person I had filed the initial report with was Jocelyn she then told me she was sorry and would get back to haven't heard back from her! I went once and they signed me up for a membership they said I could just cancel. I e-mailed them 2 months later that is still wasn't canceled. they said they couldn't find my membership. I got another response that the case was closed. Their price doubled and still no way to cancel. I tried to e-mail in and their e-mail doesn't go through. I do not recommend this car wash AT ALL! I've been a member with this company for the past 6 months now and my membership tier is the highest one which is the "Full Service Platinum Wash Unlimited Plan" and I can honestly say the service here is absolutely horrible. What am I even paying for at this point? I went in to get a full service car wash today since it's been raining these past few days and my exterior & interior has a lot of mud in it from all this rain we had recently! Once I got my car back and tipped the guy (before I looked at the interior of my car might I add) and once I finally saw the inside of my car it looked like they honestly didnt clean anything, the smudges on my dash were still very visible, fingerprints were still visible on infotainment system, and the back seat floor mats still had tons of dirt & mud on them.... UNACCEPTABLE! I brought it to one of the managers attention because there's no way I'm leaving them a $20 tip for work that hadn't even been done and I was met with hostility from the manager who ALSO was trying to gaslight me as well which .... I needed a quick detail of the interior of my truck as we were taking it out of town and after several camping trips and off road excursions it's was in need of some TLC. This place is good for same day detail needs. The gentleman who took my order was friendly and helped me choose what I needed. The pricing was ok, I spent $254 for the exterior wash, vacuuming, rubber floor mat pressure washing, shampoo upholstery and cleaning the dash, doors, and console surfaces. He quoted 2.5 hours which was fine, it ended up taking maybe 1.5 hours. The interior looked great, the stains we had on the seats were removed and the plastics looked the best they had in a long time. I did ask for no tire dressing (due to it slings on the paint with my tire poke) but they applied it and not very well, they missed spots. My only complaint is on the exterior wash, they left dirt/mud in the wheel wells. For the amount of money I was spending I would have liked them to see that and pressure washed that off and ran it through the wash again. I have used cobblestone in the past for convenience and you get what you pay for. Next time I'll likely find a local mobile detailed who will keep in mind the details. read more

Worst experience ever! I purchased the most expensive car wash service ($22) and came out to a dirty car with no difference! I pulled back around to ask for another rinse and the worker told me I should just go wash it myself. He then proceeded to treat me as a child and man-explain that it's my own responsibility to clean or purchase their other services to clean what was already supposed to be cleaned. I'm very upset because as a young women, being treated like I wasn't competent enough to understand the situation made me feel super uncomfortable. I don't appreciate it when men treat women poorly when it comes to car services! Being only 17, he didn't realize what was going on, especially when two associates started trying to up charge him. Learning experience for him and would never recommend this location to anyone due this behavior and the problems we had cancelling our prepaid memberships. I can see why BBB rates them so low.
