Customer service is awful…read more While they offer a large selection products, their shipping practices are more than sketchy and unprofessional. I've had orders cancelled without explanation. I've had orders confirmed that took 3 weeks to arrive (I live in DC. They have a store in DC). Most recently, I placed an order and it has now been 2 weeks and I do not have shipping information. Label was "created" 5 days ago, but no shipping updates were provided. This has happened multiple times, to myself and my loved ones. The selection and products are good quality but the process and procedure in getting your goods make the experience awful. This will be my last time ordering from them and I encourage others to refrain from doing the same in hopes of actually receiving your purchased items in a respectable time frame...

Waited another 3 days which is again the max length of time they said they would need to help and reach back out to me, and never heard from them again after numerous attempts to contact them. Had to dispute the outstanding charge for the products. Will be following up with law enforcement or the better business bureau/consumer affairs if that doesn't resolve the issue. STAY AWAY

I walked in and spotted what I thought was the women's section but like Wu Tang, it was for the children. Looking around more, I couldn't find the 990s for women because there was nary a pair. I don't know if this is due to the transition from v3 to v4 or what but this had me blown. I asked somebody and they directed me to the men's section and I told them my situation and they helped me convert the sizes. I hate to say this but in the few minutes I had spent in DTLR no was particularly helpful. I asked questions and they answered them. The thing that really made this glaring for me was going to the register paying for the shoes, dude tried to sell me waterproof spray and then some socks and finally, he successfully signed me up for the rewards program. He stuck to the script with all that but nobody was trying to show me new stuff or tell me what was about to come or what was on sale. All bassackwards. Since my mother's shoes fit, I didn't have to worry about making a return and getting a gift card. The receipt goes into the trash and my thoughts go on Yelp.

I need to report an extremely disturbing experience at a Nordstrom Rack store during a recent visit…read morewith my husband. We were shopping for outfits for our son's graduation, which should have been a positive and memorable occasion. Instead, I was subjected to unprofessional, confrontational, and ultimately abusive behavior by a fitting room associate. Upon approaching the fitting room, I followed the associate's directions regarding where to place my cart, although her instructions were inconsistent and unclear. Inside the dressing room, I found a shirt that had been left behind by a previous customer. After trying on approximately seven items, I returned them to hangers and exited the fitting room. At that point, the associate demanded that I remove and hang the shirt that I had not brought into the dressing room. I explained that it was not mine. She became visibly frustrated, entered the room herself, and then shifted her focus to insisting that I return all of my items to the exact locations on the sales floor where I had found them. I placed the clothing neatly on the rack provided near the fitting room, which is standard practice in most retail stores. I declined to return the items to the sales floor, as that is typically handled by store staff to ensure proper organization. The situation escalated significantly when the associate followed me out of the fitting area and toward the front of the store, continuing to confront me. She then called me a "horrible human being" and used an additional demeaning term toward me. Racially motivated ! Being followed and verbally insulted while exiting the store was both shocking and unacceptable. I think she forgot what her job actually was and that was too curate the clothing, and to rehang them up she had the nerve to continue following me and would have exited the store to follow me. Had someone else stopped her I am a 50-year-old customer who has shopped in retail stores my entire life, and I have never experienced anything remotely like this. This interaction was not only unprofessional but crossed the line into harassment. this incident be investigated thoroughly. No customer should be treated in this manner under any circumstances. I would also appreciate a response outlining what steps will be taken to address this situation and ensure it does not happen to others. Huge thumbs down to this store and this horrible little twit

This was a Lion and Tigers and Bears OH MY situation! It's quite crowded in here. Not cluttered but crowded. They have soooo much stuff and it's all in order. This place could be 2-3 floors easy!! I saw all of my fav brands at great prices. They have a huge selection of high-end wear for a great price. They have a huge selection of summer, spring and winter wear. The cosmetics and body care... chef's kiss!! They have everything in every color/ scent/ size!! Cool accessories, luggage galore, etc. I did not take a gander at the shoes as I had a show nearby to attend. I bought 2 gorge blouses and a short sleeve loose fitting denim blue top. I will revisit very soon for some more shopping greatness.

I felt safe here since there were national guardsmen strolling the station. There are 30 eateries here and we ended up having lunch at Shake Shack, indulging in ice cream at Van Leeuwen, chocolates from Laderach and coffee at Blue Bottle Coffee. I like how the station also has 30 retail shops. Happy I visited Union Station and I recommend seeing this architectural marvel.

Union Station is a beautiful historical building. It is a travel hub in the city (Marc train,…read moreAmtrak, metro). You can always get a taxi out front if you aren't getting an Uber. I am crossing my fingers that Union Station will get itself together. Outside of attending a handful of events (there is a lot of space due to store/restaurant closures) I don't visit this area frequently anymore. If I take metro at night, I use Chinatown or Convention Center metro. Amtrak had too many incidents with homeless people attacking employees. As a result, all of the seating located in front of each boarding area has been removed. There is a seating area (with security) if you have a boarding pass. The beautiful wooden benches that used to be in the grand hall are gone. My favorite stores are gone. The parking garage has limited spaces & is confusing. The rental area (I have never successfully gotten someone on the phone who could tell me rental prices or what cars were available) takes up lots of spaces now. The food court isn't the same. We used to love visiting and trying one of the kiosks. The places keep going out of business. If you visit the food court, have a fanny pack or sling back purse. Between aggressive pigeons or people asking for money, the experience isn't as enjoyable. Unos is still there. If you need to grab a bite, you won't be bothered by the riff raff there. The circulator buses are all gone, due to budget cuts. They were a wonderful convenience. I hope that things will change. Union Station has an expansion project that should be completed by 2040. Some improvements are starting construction in 2027. That doesn't help anyone now. The halls are beautiful. The statues are photo worthy. The postal museum is directly across the street. Capitol Hill is nearby. This building is a treasure. I'm rooting for it.
