The decor was welcoming and the restrooms were clean. The prices were a bit high compared to other local favorites, but it's a great gathering spot, especially for medium to larger parties.

We walked in and were greeted immediately and told we could "sit wherever." Selected a booth which is nice and comfy near a window. Server stopped by and grabbed our drinks quickly (coffee), which came hot and kept being refilled. We've visited quite a few times as I like that we can order breakfast or lunch items. He ordered his favorite with extra coney sauce. To my surprise, today the menu was updated (we've not been for a while) and they had m&m pancakes which I haven't had since I was a child. Theyre huge and delicious. I took 2 home. The food came FAST (af boi ), and hot. Which is always my goal for breakfast. The breakfast burrito has a lot of hash browns, which I didn't realize, but the chorizo had good flavor. Also rather large and took half home. Under $40 for 2 coffees and 3 items is a steal these days. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs a charming place to stop for breakfast. It has a bit of a smalltown diner vibe, which is so quaint. It's always clean, and if you have a second, drop by the bathrooms. They're cute and decorated well, but the arches in the hallways on the way there are dreamy! Good food. Good prices. Always great service. We will be back :)

Our waitress was really nice and overall service was quick. We ordered the Lemon Chicken and the Wedge Salad. The reason why I'm giving this restaurant 3 stars is mainly because of the chicken dish. I was expecting it to be more citrusy, but I feel like whatever lemon flavor it was meant to have was lost by some sort of sweetness. I think the Meyer lemon butter made the dish was so oddly sweet it mixed in with the rice underneath. Overall, this dish was sadly disappointing since we were looking forward to something savory and herby but got what felt like a sugar bomb for chicken. The salad was good and loaded with toppings, however, I felt like there was way too much dressing that drowned the salad once it was all mixed. If possible, I would get the dressing on the side. All in all, great ambiance, good service and a wonderful location. Perhaps I just ordered the wrong things. Still worth checking out, if you're in the area!

Although it was busy, we were seated immediately. There's plenty of seating both inside and outside, which helped the wait. The menu is fairly short, but that wasn't an issue since there were still plenty of appealing options. I started with the Dragon's Milk Toasted Marshmallow drink. Based on the name, I expected something sweet, but it was much more bitter than anticipated. We also ordered the Hot Honey Pepperoni Pinwheels, and they were incredible. Crispy, flavorful, and easily one of the best appetizers I've had at a restaurant. I highly recommend giving them a try. For my meal, I got the Dixie Luau, their take on a Hawaiian pizza. It was excellent. The crust was the perfect thickness, and the toppings were generous. What really stood out was the pineapple, it tasted fresh and high quality compared to the canned pineapple that many places use. If the weather is nice, definitely ask to sit on the front patio. It was the perfect place to relax, enjoy the food, and do a little people-watching. The atmosphere was great, and I'd absolutely come back the next time I'm in the area.

It is first, first serve but we found around 7 pm, the bar was empty. If you don't mind this, I highly recommend for last minute planning. When we were seated, the bartenders were pleasant and helpful. The service was quick. We ordered the aged cheddar pierogis for the appetizer which was a good start for two people. They were fried so you are staying clear of fried foods--I would skip this dish (it wasn't listed as fried). The cocktails and food was amazing. We ate all of our food but it wasn't too much where you felt sick. I would come back to this restaurant again if I am in the area.

First of all, the drive to Fennville is gorgeous! We always love the rural landscape and the quaint town itself. Definitely a destination to visit. Second, the building itself is cute, rustic, inviting, and well-kept right in the heart of Fennville's adorable downtown. Third, the staff are so welcoming, kind, helpful, and professional. We especially loved our hostess (Chrissie/Christy?). She treated us so well and definitely talked us into some yummy extras Now to the food and drinks! The extensive cocktail, wine, and beer selection is high quality and specially curated. I had a hard time deciding, but I settled on the Sage Rub. It was so delicious and refreshing; not too sweet. I highly recommend it! My husband got the Bell's Hazy IPA, one of his favorites! We started with the Brussels sprouts and the bread board. The Brussels were decadent, crisp, and flavorful! The bread was such a rich array of tasty breads and butter/salt/pepper sides. We loved every bite! I got the house salad and my husband got the special. We each preferred our own salads, so that's good! I loved the house salad because of the light and refreshing vinegarette . The flavors were spot on. My husband liked that the special salad brought together a bunch of different flavors into a sweet/tangy delight! For our main entrees, both my husband and I were eying the Three Little Pigs pizza. He ended up getting and let me have a bite: so flavorful with high quality meats, cheese, and ingredients overall. So good! I got the Housemade pasta with beef tenderloin, charred onions, and mushroom sauce. It was literally divine and I cherished each and every bite. We would have loved to get dessert, but we were stuffed! Maybe next time? Prices are great, the space is clean/safe, and the portions are excellent. And you can make reservations through their website beforehand. Very clutch, especially since it is a good drive from most towns. If you are nearby and have the time, please make Salt of the Earth a part of your dinning experience. I promise that your taste buds will be very thankful. See you next time, Salt if the E
