This hyundai dealer is good. However, I purchased a 2020 Sonata in 2020. The car is great except the BlueLink and audio software HAS PROBLEMS. The BluLink was free for the first 5 years. After that, you pay a monthly fee. Well. I let the BlueLink expire. One year later, I paid Bluelink their initial fee for activation and their first monthly payment. It was then that I found out I could not activate the BlueLink in the car. I called BlueLink and they stated I need to upgrade the firmware in the car. So, I attempted to update it but I was unable to get the update installed. So I took it to Hyundai and the dealer could not get it installed either. BlueLink was no help. So now, after a bunch of resets on the chip, now my BlueLink and the Android Auto dont work. What a pain in the ass. I decided to move on waiting for the dealer to contact me. I dont understand why the dealer cant get it updated. Im going to change to a KIA since they provide the same warranty which is why I bought so many cars from Hyundai.. read more

Experience: I came to the dealership with the thought of buying a Honda. But I wanted to make sure I shopped around a little to compare some other options. I showed up on a Friday around noon. Business: The dealership and showroom were clean with a nice little snack area with TVs if you have to wait for service. Service: Eric Swist was my salesman, and even though he was new, he did a good job of helping me go over all the details of the car. If he didn't know the answer, he admitted it and went to ask the answers. He pushed just enough but not overly pushy to get me in the car I wanted. Also loved the finance guy (forgot his name ... ugh, I'm sorry), but he was great as explaining all the details of my financing with me and discussing all the extras available for purchase. Absolute terrible experience! Never buy a car from these guys! I bought a used Elantra from them in September and a month later the suspension started making squeeky noises upon turning corners and going over speed bumps. When I called to make an appointment to have it inspected they said it would be 250 for a diagnostic which I was ok with and that if I decided to make a repair they would take the 250 out of the price. So after my "diagnostic" I was quoted 8,895$. Mins you I bought the car for 9,000$. This place is a complete money hungry joke. Never buy a car from here. Shop elsewhere, I wouldn't trust them with my lunch money. The cherry on top is that I agreed to have one of the suspension parts fixed and I even contacted the salesman Zach, and said I'd like to go forward with one of the repairs so I could get my moneys worth from the diagnostic and I was left on read. Coastal Hyundai - Inflated Prices, Hidden Fees, and Poor Communication I brought my 2022 Hyundai Elantra SEL to Coastal Hyundai for service and left incredibly frustrated with the experience. I was quoted $3,507.65 to replace the evaporator, which is extremely high -- especially when the average cost at most shops ranges from $1,200 to $2,500. I was also quoted $489.92 for 2 lbs of R-1234yf refrigerant, even though my car's system only holds about 1 to 1.2 lbs total. This seems like a blatant attempt to double-charge me for refrigerant without explanation. They also added a diagnostic fee that I was never informed about ahead of time and never signed for. That's not just unprofessional -- it's deceptive. No customer should be surprised by hidden fees after the fact. When I called to ask about labor rates, one employee told me it was $210 an hour, and another said it was $220 an hour. For comparison, most independent and even many dealership shops charge around $150 an hour. This kind of inconsistency just reinforces the feeling that pricing here is arbitrary and inflated. Other services quoted -- like $468 for spark plugs (vs. a typical $150-$300), $229 for injector cleaning (normally $100-$180), and $229 for fuel induction service (average $150-$200) -- were all well above industry averages. Between the overpriced quotes, lack of clear communication, undisclosed fees, and inconsistent labor rates, this visit felt more like a money grab than a professional service experience. Also, it was a nice touch to pick up my car to find that the service department left trash in the vehicle. Coastal Hyundai gave me a lifetime warranty on a new engine, 38,000 miles ago. Now that engine has failed and the dealer replaced it with a refurbished engine, giving me only a 1 year warranty on it!! I'm furious that the 3rd engine- with who knows how many miles on it- they will only give me a 1 year warranty!! Do Not BUY FROM COASTAL HYUNDAI!! They don't honour their warranties. I think I might need a lawyer!! Also, they quoted a price of $900 - after coming down from $1800, to change out power steering & brake fluid, & replacing the serpentine belt. My honest mechanic at Marc's Auto will do that for $200! The belt was also replaced just 38,000 miles ago by the dealer. Stay away from Coastal Hyundai unless you want to be ripped off!! When going back to the dealership after purchasing a 2025 Camry to see Ali the finance officer, Reishi couldn't take his eyes off the floor. A chump acts this way. He blew the sale. Now he and some others in the office didn't even say a word to me. Sure I can say more. The moral of this post...if you don't do business with them they don't wanna even look at you. Worst experience I've encountered in my many years with dealerships. It started from the beginning with having to ask to see my Service Advisor waiting over half hour. I was having my a/c checked for blowing warm air and driver side window being slow to go up. I never get a call saying they need to keep the car another day. After leaving a message with the receptionist and 2 voicemails. I get ahold of the SA and he tells me they haven't been able to look at my car. So I contemplated on giving a review of this business, but after I discovered something went missing from my car, I started doing more probing. First of all some tech walked away with some nice Armani glasses. :) It's funny to me because I hardly wore them anyway as I just discovered they weren't in the spot I kept them in, and it's an excuse to purchase another pair! About a month ago, I filled out a survey that Genesis emailed me, and I shared my concerns. My oil light wasn't reset (says I'm at negative 1300 miles now) but the service manager said they forgot to reset it. No big deal until I checked it yesterday and it's not fresh oil on the dipstick! The car has been sitting for weeks. Also while under the hood, I noticed my fluids are all very low (Ie: All below the minimum amount). If I could add a negative star I would. The Salesmen I worked with were great though the manager kept speaking to my partner vs me - the one buying the car. I was sold a new Genesis GV80 and all the bells and whistle's that come with owing this vehicle. What a bait and switch that was - the car charger is a known issue, there are technical issues etc. - these are not their fault and I have been working with Genesis corporate on those. I took my car to get the sensor fixed on the airbag after only a few months of owning the car and was told no you don't get a genesis loaner as you were told as that would happen that's only if they happen to have one which I was told would likely never happen BTW. The service writer apparently quit the day after I dropped off my car and no one contacted me only after me stalking them did they advise of yeah your car is ready. Picked up my car and it was a mess and they promised it would be better going forward - LIE. My 1 year service came up and I took my car in again no loaner car and drove in with the other Hyundai owners to drop it off. Picking up my car I was handed my key to go to the parking lot to find it and leave. One month after my service the light and email arrive telling me its time for my maintenance - this can not be I still have less then 7k on the car. I call them and they did advice that it doesn't need service rather the tech forgot to reset it. They did inform me that I can make an appointment or drive there myself to have them fix what should have been done in the first place. I asked if there were instructions that they could email me and I can do their job at home but no they don't. So off to call Genesis who was able to send me the 3 steps to reset to show I don't need service until next year. I really wish I knew what a horrible service experience I would face time and time again I would have never purchased this and am actively looking to trade this in to go back to Mercedes where they know what Service is. i took my car to the service department bc the service light was on. They told me it needed a new cam shaft and the cost would be $1800. I said no thanks and immediately took it to a private mechanic. The private mechanic said that the only thing wrong with the car was that coastal hyuandai put the wrong oil into the car. They changed the oil for $60 and my car has been fine ever since (it has been over a month). The service light has not come on again. Well, again not receiving any response from Coastal after sending in a question via their website regarding the ISG on our 2020 Santa Fe. I gave them the benefit of the doubt after receiving mixed messages months back, but again their lack of a timely response seems to be the norm from them. The ISG on our santa fe works sporadically. According to Coastal, it should not work if the battery charge is less than 70%. This is the same problem we had months back and could not get a straight answer. Coastal refuses to replace the battery even though the suv is less than 3 years old, it is not sufficient to power the ISG, and the diagnosis appears to be questionable. We've been in FL less than 5 years and have purchased 2 cars from coastal. You would think they might treat us a little better. Makes us question there service department at coastal. read more

I still had faith and trust and professionalism with all businesses as I am a Professional Engineer in the medical field - but not anymore after today with the car business. Here I am a brand-new customer to the area, and today I had my 2011 Hyundai Sante Fe in for service - oil change and tire rotation. I can now no longer trust Coastal Hyundai. The Service tech who worked on my car and my service man 342 Jason Baker lied to me about the RH and LH front CV axles. I had those replaced last year, yet they lied and said they needed replaced at $1,025.25 each. I asked for them to show me the issues, but they only offered pictures. These pictures were fakes as I know what my CV axles looked like as they have been new in the last year. The pictures showed them all ripped up, almost tore off with grease everywhere. Jason said he would send me the pictures so I would have them. I gave him my cell and he never sent them - knowing that they were not mine. I brought my car home and went underneath to look. Both axles are perfect - no tears, no grease anywhere. Very untrue and veru unethical. This leads me to believe he and the service tech lied about everything else my car needs - rear brakes, new belts, an oil leak...all of it now has no merit. I can see how crooked dealers can be now. I never had this issue in Fort Wayne, Indiana where I moved from. How unprofessional. How disrespectful. How untrust worthy. How unethical. Update: I was called by Jason who informed me that all of the pictures were real, yet when I look under the car and take my own, they do not match his - they are far from it. Of course, I still have not received his pictures that he showed me - because they are fake. He wanted me to bring the car back so they could show me all of the 'issues'. Absolute con-artists! Purchased a 2023 Genesis GV70 from them, they didn't prep the car at all, charged 2k for dealer add-on features, which were never done. Didn't remove wipe blade covers and they scratched the windshield. Was told we'd never bring the car in because of Genesis valet service. Called for our first service and was told it was booked out four months. decided to bring the car in myself to make sure service intervals were done on time. Was given an old Hyundai loaner car(not the luxury experience promised!) Returned to pick up the car, on the way home got multiple service needed warnings, contacted service and was told sometimes they forget to reset them. They didn't reset any of them.... did they do the service?? IcIng on the cake, the seats in the GV were hard on my wife's back, so we went in to see about possibly trading in for a GV80. Our 70 was only 5 months old, with 10k miles on it. They offered us just shy of 50% of what we paid for it. Jeep beat their offer by $12k. They clearly don't see any value in treating their customers well, when I told the GM that, he said, we decided to take a run at you, guess it didn't work! Last week I had the pleasure of meeting and being waited on by Tony Lopez of Coastal Hyundai. My wife and I entered the dealership at about noon, leaving about 90 minutes later with a new pre-owned car. Tony met us at the door, and I explained what we wanted to spend, what vehicles we were looking for, and the mileage. He showed us four cars, explained the mileage and the price of each, and we took one for a test drive; it was a 2020 Hyundai Tucson SUV with low mileage. He explained in detail about the previous owner and, of course, the car's features. I liked it and said I wanted it if the price was right, so we went inside and talked; I had a trade-in that they inspected. I explained that I didn't want to sit there for hours going back and forth, and he felt the same way. So he made an offer for my trade, which was a little low, and worked with us. We already had financing in place, and he asked if he could match it and if we would consider financing with them; that was fair, so we did. We agreed on the trade, the percentage of the loan, and the price of the car. Tony is perhaps the best automobile salesman I have ever dealt with. He is highly professional and accommodating. He introduced us to the store manager, The finance person and explained the service department in detail. This was the easiest automobile purchase that I have had in many, many years. After reading all the bad reviews it's nice to know I'm not alone. The service department people especially Pete and Andre are liars. My daughter's 2019 Sonata was brought in on Dec. 12th due to jiffy lube saying they heard a knocking sound. It has been there almost 2 months. I called every week and was told by Pete that they are waiting on corporate. I have spoken to this Pete guy many times. Every time he said the same thing. Waiting on corporate. They had us get a rental car from thrifty saying that they would take care of the cost. After 6 weeks I get a call from Andre saying when are you bringing the rental car back. We were told to keep it until the car was done. They are saying she needs a new engine. I have the ultimate warranty which I paid extra up front to have so she had no worries. Pete and Andre said they have been sending text messages with information all along. There has never been a text message from them. They lie about everything. The man at the car rental place told us that we are at least the 4th person that Hyundai said would pay for the rental car and did not. His words are they lied. He felt awful for us. The rental cost $1500. Now the car still doesn't work. They are trying to blame us, saying we didn't do oil changes. There was plenty of oil in her car. The last oil change at jiffy said that the oil was fine. But he heard a knocking sound. I have all the proof. They want receipts showing we bought oil for the car since our neighbor took care of the oil changes for us. This place is so crooked and instead of trying to help their customers that put good faith into them when buying the car, they look for anything they can do not to fix it. I paid for the lifetime engine warranty and I paid out of pocket extra. I wish I would have looked at the reviews before dealing with these crooks! A friend of mine that had worked in the service department at this Hyundai for over 20 years said that both Pete and Andre are crooked. My husband and I purchased a vehicle in October 2023. The car has been a total disaster and lemon. it's been in the shop more times than I can count. The sales staff are wonderful. The managing staff are the worst! My car is at another dealership now for service. Coastal doesn't even have enough decency to provide us a loaner vehicle anymore. We've been sent to Thrifty, a very low end car rental company that does not accept our insurance provider. To rent from them we would have to purchase their insurance that creates a DAILY expense. I'm now relying on Lyft and Uber to go to work, run errands, and get through daily life. Managing staff will not answer calls, text messages, or emails. Calling the dealership does NO good because we are always told the managers are not there and we never get called back. We have even gone there to find a manager is there when we were told they were not. So, we are paying for car we bought, but I'm relying on Uber and Lyft for daily transportation. The least they could do is provide a loaner car to offset the cost expenses from the warranty deductibles and daily ride sharing expenses! it's heartbreaking what we've been through and trading is not an option because there is not enough equity in the car yet! We have been completely taken for a ride, abandoned, and left completely alone to advocate for our consumer rights! We have never been treated so badly by MANAGERS of a car dealership! read more

Let me start by saying I have purchased 5 vehicles form this dealership in the last 10 years. The last one is a 2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz. About two weeks ago a check engine light came on. My boyfriend checked it with his diagnostic meter he has, and the code came as P218 I believe. I went on the Santa Cruz forum and all the complaints were the same as mine a temperature coolant sensor and all of them had the part replaced and the car was fine. I text my salesperson where I bought the car, due to the other dealership closer to my house said they could not get me in until August. So, mine salesperson said bring it in we will take care of you as they always have in the past. By the way I did not drive my car, my neighbor took me to work. I took my car in on Saturday 07/01/2023. I was told by the salesperson to ask for Tony, which I did when I got there. I told the service person I did not an appointment but asked for Tony. He can back out and said Tony is not here and if you don't have an appointment then I can't help you. I went inside and saw my salesperson and told him I need help. He told me to go sit at Tony desk and he will take care of me. Which when Tony sat down, he did. I had to sign the service write up with a amount on it, due to they would have to make sure the car is under warranty. I knew the car was still under warranty, (41,591 miles on it and it's a year and half old). Then I was told to go where you can get a loner to drive while I was told they would not be able to look it until Monday 07/03/2023. The lady in that off right away ask for Driver License, Insurance and a credit card to pay for the loner at $45.00 a day. I was immediately upset, why am I paying for this when the car is under warranty. So, my boyfriend went over to Tony office asked about it. I stayed in the office. When three people came in the office, my boyfriend, Tony, and the service manager. The service manager advised them no payment is needed now and to not charged me. It was so confusing that no communication. I left with the loner. I received a text from Tony Wednesday around 12 noon, that the car was ready to be picked up. I texted back asking if the part was replaced. I receive a text back and this is what it said. No parts were replaced on the Santa Cruz. The vehicle shows signs of multiple episodes of high RPM's for an extended period of time and high engine speeds for an extended period of time. These episodes create concerns recognized by the onboard computers to show alerts regarding coolant temperatures, gas temperatures and pressures which cause the alert on your dashboard. Ok, I drive 80 miles a day for work 5 days a week. I set my cruise control at 71mph, so I can get a week worth of gas in one tank. I also drive home at 5:pm on I95 in rush hour bumper to bumper traffic. I also have a GEICO app attached to my car that will track all my driving, meaning if I am driving fast, stop hard and . etc.. So please can someone explain how I would be revving up engine at high RPMS for extended period time? And how I can drive at high speeds in traffic for a long time. Also, my driving record is clean no tickets no accidents. I believe the dealership did not want to change the part (which is the whole housing at $575.00) and eat the warranty work. I am done no more Hyundai and I will never purchase another vehicle from this dealership. No phone call about the work, no communication. I have been a faithful client and I have been treated badly. As of today Friday 07/07/2023 my check engine light is back on again. And I was told by their Customer Service Manager, driving this car at 2000 RPM at a cruising speed of 70MPH is why my check engine light is on. (WTH) are you kidding me. July 14, 2023 I took my Santa Cruz to Napleton Hyundai North Palm Beach, within in 2 hours they CALLED me not text and advised I needed to change the temperature coolant sensor and they would order it. It would take a week to get the part in. they called me within the week, and I brought my car in, they change the part (under warranty) and returned my car to me within a day. So today Sunday August 20th I went to Coastal Hyuandi after passing by a seeing this White Jeep Grand Cherokee parked up front for sale and was interested in taking a look at the vehicle. Upon me getting there I was greeted by an older gentleman named Bill who was the sales man and I explained I was interested in the Jeep and wanted to know more about the vehicle instead he expressed how they were closed and wasn't willing to give me anymore information. Bill then proceeded to become very argumentative and told me how they were closed and I could come back the fuck tomorrow and walked away. I stated out loud I would not be spoken to like that and I wanted a manager immediately Bill then chose to turn back around getting loud and getting in my face. Finally he walked inside and asked his manager to walk out which is when I was greeted by Tj the store manager I had explained the concerns and he had informed me that's not accurate and upon him looking the Jeep online he informed me it was selling for $29,734 but Bill told me close to $50,000 so almost a $20,000 difference in price. I am so upset, I was so happy when I bought my car last year in February. I owned the car for 6 months and decided I would get a nice detail job on my car inside and out. That same day I got the car detailed it stop working. I bought an extended warranty as it was a used car, thank god I do. It spent 6 months at the dealership in Melbourne Florida off 192. Now the part was a back order, ok I get it. Can't make a part just appear. So I get a phone call yesterday March 2,2022 that my car is ready for pick up. So excited I go and get it. I get there and my car is dirty, rust spots (which can not sure if it was rust really but that's the best way to describe the color) all over the car, dirty everywhere, under the lights caked under it in the cracks. I complained, I opened the driver door and there's black ! Black! Fucking finger prints on the driver door and the center console. I asked the service manger if that was clean and he said he will take care of it. I said but the paper work you handed me says it was done already, this is not done wth is this shit. I am at this point losing my manors. The service manger had a detail car wash guy come out and started wiping the outside off (all the rust spots) which are magically coming off. I told the guy see that shit was not there when it came in and it shouldn't be there leaving! Ok so they kept my car a few more hours to wash inside and out. Ok I get the call now 4 pm yesterday that my car is ready. I go get my car and leave. Fast forward to today: I am in my car driving and all of a sudden I hear something, I think nothing of it. I go home and open my back door driver side, to see what I could find out for the noise. ITS MY FUCKING SEAT FALLING APART, the clips and all the stuff to hold my seat back up is broke and it fell off. Now I take it back to the shop to be told I broke my seat, now mind you there's no plastic anywhere in the car, all the pets that were broke are missing. They want to charge me 1500 or so to fix my seat that was not broke when I brought in my car 6 months ago. So now at this point I am looking at my car for every little thing. The back seat arm rest folds down and is dirty (it was fucking clean when it went in) there's soda stains on my car my 2105 Hyundai Genesis. I don't drink soda!!!! Wtf! My driver side door lock is all scratched to shit as if someone tried to brake into my car! Wtf. I am beyond up set and sad. I will be emailing corporate and making calls to them as well, until this situation is made right. I would never brake my car or my seats. I have no business back there when I'm driving! No one sits back there, so how did it fall apart and where did all the pieces go? I know that the company I don't know which department she is in but she came to me at 5 pm as the service department was closing and said, they will fix my seat with the clips on Monday free of charge but after this if it's fixed I will not be taking my car to their shop no more. If things get fixed I will comment along side this post. I will say CRYSTAL IN THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS THE BEST! She is so nice and I am so great full for her bc lord knows I was not always the nicest person but she is a solid 10 for that company. I wish her all the best. read more

The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (P.L. 93-637) is a United States federal law Enacted in 1975, the federal statute governs warranties on consumer products. This dealerships service department consistently suggested / insists services and repairs need to be performed, that do NOT need to be performed. This is based upon 4 cars purchased over the last 12 years. They give you a free oil change, to rope you in. Routinely I refuse the work, take it to an independent shop I trust, they show me the pads, tires, filters, and NO oil leaks, belts, hoses, antifreeze tests, and so on, and tell me I have according to MY OWNERS MANUAL much longer service left remaining, and no evidence of repair necessary. I came in to Coastal Hyundai today to look at a 2021 Hyundai Elantra Blue Hybrid. The test drive was good and I decided to move forward to determine if we could do a deal. I was appalled that the sales manager offered me an insulting and ridiculously low $16,000 for my vehicle (which is valued at $22,418 "Trade-In" on KBB). A vehicle which, by the way, I purchased new from Coastal Hyundai in 2019, so I'm a repeat customer. I asked him what the problem was and he said I purchased my vehicle from Coastal Hyundai and only paid about $20,500 (at that time), and he was "NOT going to give me more than I paid originally, regardless of the current value of the vehicle". Seriously? So by that logic if I had purchased a Corvette "Split-Window" from them new in 1963 I would have only been offered less than $4,000 not the $102,000 current value. What logic is that? When I told him that even Carvana (known to go on the low end of KBB) was offering $21,400 (sight unseen), he snapped abruptly "then go sell it to them and come back here and buy my car". Obviously I took my keys and walked out. Being a loyal, RETURN customer apparently has no bearing at Coastal Hyundai. If they won't even support the current legitimate value of a Hyundai vehicle that they themselves sold, well, I don't know what to say. My wife and I live in the orlando area and drove an hour to purchase a car about a month ago now and this dealership has not sent our tags to us yet. They lied to us saying they called and mailed them out weeks ago but that's a lie because we use a mail tracking service to let us know what is coming and we have no voicemails like they claimed. This dealership is in the middle of almost nowhere and we were referred due to the slight benefits as far a lower prices than the big city dealerships BUT man, I will not make this mistake again on my next vehicle. We called the salesman who sold us the car (Ian Taylor) and he no longer picks up his cell phone for my number. Called and asked to speak to management on the lackluster service and they don't pick up. We STILL don't have our registration. Mind you this is after making that we owe no money to dmv etc ... this place drops the ball because they can.. I would not recommend. Save yourself a possible headache. Update: some guy named James Edobor that works there says that he spoke to the tag and registration department that now very conveniently says they mailed it out yesterday and that it should reach us today (august 17)... having been told this before, I can't say I believe it because this dealership seems to be run very unprofessionally. James also mentioned that the normal procedure is that customer do not normally get tags mailed to them and that they have to come and pick them up(never heard of this being something potential customers clamor for but hey what do I know. I just need them to "act" like they care. I'll keep you updated on whether they do the bare minimum or not. At this point I still do not recommend this place. Do yourself a favor and try Kia up the road towards the highway. read more

Beware of service bait and switch, after being told that my keyfob was functionally fine in one visit by Peter, next visit we won't (notice not can't) reprogram it from a rude service tech, pay the $150 on your way out, or buy a new fob without a KEY for $350 and the $150 programming. If I could offer a rating lower than 1 star, I would. I have been coming to this dealership for 10 years for both purchases of new vehicles and the service work. There has been an issue each and every time. Today, I had the experience of a 2.5 hour oil change. When I finally inquired as to what what taking so long, one of the "advisors" took my keys again and said she was looking for a valet. About 15 minutes later, some smart-ass teenage chick wheels around the corner doing about 25 mph on 2 tires in the parking lot and says, "here is your car". I am terrified to look under the hood to see if they actually did an oil change. Not only will I NEVER purchase from this place again, I'll never take it there for service work. I don't trust them at all. I'm actually afraid to drive my car due to their ineptitude and attitude. read more
