When our nearly 30 year old system needed replacement, they gave me a fair quote and did excellent work when the job was approved. To those who left poor review, you probably wouldn't have been happy with any company so your reviews are of no consequence. I wanted to replace a 7 year old Trane heat pump, that has been unreliable since we built the house in 2019. They sent over their salesperson Geoffrey and he gave us a quote of 41,000 yes that is correct 41,000 stating all the duct work needed to be replaced plus new copper lines in a house that is 7 years old. Yet he never once went up in the attic to even look at any of the existing duct work. Needless to say, the quote was ridiculous. Got two other estimated from other companies at 15000 and 16,800. read more

Best air conditioning checkup for our air conditioner in the last 20 years. John Paul Millan was the technician who came to do our annual inspection. Complete job was top notch from head to toe. Respectful, thorough inspection and after his inspection he gave us the results with use of photos of the system with a narrative explanation of each photo and what it meant to us. After that, we were sent a copy of the same information via email. What a pleasure to work with such an informative and thorough technician. Coast to Coast is lucky to have this gentleman on their staff. Coast to Coast has always been our go to air conditioning company and will continue to use their services. I called this company and they sent a technician out the next day. Granted it was on the weekend so I did expect to pay an after hours premium. What I didn't expect was to pay $537 to have a $20 capacitor replaced that took 20 minutes. I feel they took advantage of a single woman. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I understand everyone has to make a buck, but that is absolutely ridiculous. You should get fair work for a fair price. I r got screwed and I didn't even get kissed. read more

Beware of this company. Take great precautions. They hire tecks that are not board certified. They come to your home, and tell you what they are doing, whether it will work or not. But, you are given thirty days to respond, and they will come back. When you call to ask them to come back, they said he never did anything. Very strange, as my neighbor said. VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE. We had an AC unit that was a problem from the day the builder installed it. After many repairs and finally up to an excessive amount of repeated freon leaks we were exasperated. We were told we had to replace the unit. This is not something anyone wants to do. Time and disruption in the household, dirty work environment, and cost clouded our thoughts. Doing due diligence we collected a couple of 'bids' for the recommended work. We asked Coast to Coast to give us a bid since they had such high ratings. So glad we did! They were very very thorough in inspecting everything in the current unit and ductwork. They provided us with a very detailed write up of assessment and recommendations, with some choices. We had a couple of follow up phone calls with our questions answered and our choices selected. They scheduled with us within the week. They showed up on time and can I just say THE INSTALLERS WERE AMAZING!. Courteous, personable, quiet, neat and clean. Even took shoes off as they had to enter and leave the house, and put drop cloths on all flooring that they moved equipment over. They were respectful of pets we asked to watch and not let out the doorway. They finished in one day, coming early and working late until all was done. When they left there was not even a screw on the floor to be found. The Trane unit they installed is so quiet and very neatly put in. We cannot thank the installers, Peter and Brandon, enough for their professionalism and making what could have been stressful just a more happy day for us. Finally, we are so pleased with how our new system works. We immediately feel that the air is cooler and easier to breathe. We know this because the other half of our house is on another older unit and we can tell the difference when we walk from one side to the other, even though both are set at the same temp. Our new unit is serving the family room and kitchen area. It is doing a much better job of clearing the air and makng it more comfortable during cooking without having to turn the air up more. Seems like a great system with much better technology. Thank you Coast to Coast. We look forward to replacing the other units (2) in our house in the future with you.
