As a precaution we contacted Lucky /Ducts Port Orange Fl to inspect our duct work on a 10 year old house. Three men inspected the house and ascertained that they did not need to be cleaned as our system and foam insulation was keeping the vents all clean. Keith and Rich did a fantastic job. I scheduled duct work and dryer vent cleaning. After inspecting the ductwork Keith determined it did not require cleaning. He could have easily performed the service I originally requested and charged me. He chose to provide guidance of what was needed now to maintain healthy air quality. They applied a hospital grade disinfectant/sanitizer to the ductwork. He and Rich inspected the dryer vent. They not only cleaned it, but also changed the foil vent tube. What I thought would be an outlay of more than $500 hundred dollars turned out to be less than $200. Our dryer had been taking forever to dry loads and we had wet lint backing up into the unit. I called Lucky Ducts - they came out the next day and spent an hour working on cleaning out the vent pipes, floor, dryer and putting it back together properly. When the two technicians that arrived were extremely friendly, professional, and gave us their time to share tips and tricks to keep our A/C system working great for years to come. After a thorough inspection of our system, where we were shown pictures, it was the tech's opinion that a full cleaning was not necessary. This saved us quite a bit of money. When I first called Lucky Ducts, I spoke directly with the owner, Keith. He carefully explained everything they do when cleaning HVAC ductwork. The detail and extent of their process was meticulous. We did speak with other companies prior to making up our minds to go with Lucky Ducts, but Keith won me over with his honesty and detailed explanation of the services they provide. The guys came out to our new home that we recently purchased. It was built in 2007 but needed an extensive amount of work. The guys said there would be a lot of, "Show and Tell" throughout the day and they weren't kidding. Between the digital photos and videos they took, to showing me the inside of the fan blades and blower motors, it was amazing how filthy our HVAC system was! It was like the previous owners hadn't cleaned it or changed filters since it was new in 2007! We would have undoubtedly been sick from all the mold and dust that Lucky Ducts eradicated. The guys worked well passed 7:00pm to finish the job by finally installing our new 10 year air filters. It was the best money we've spent on our house since we purchased it. We had asked for dryer duct/vent cleaning as well as A/C duct cleaning as we had no idea how good or bad they were as we are not the original owners. So, I called and we are so happy that we did. Keith & Robert came over and checked out our ducts & A/C unit. There was mold, dust and water in the system that was making us sick! Keith informed us of what he can do to help with these problems. He gave us a fair price and great evaluation so we made the appointment. They took 4 hours to clean out every aspect of the duct system and did a great clean job. Keith even showed us the dust he collected in the machine he was using. Amazing!
