This is a small local business that is simply wonderful and a cornerstone of our community. Not only do they carry -- EVERYTHING - you need to maintain your ranch or outdoor property like tools of all sizes, outdoor clothing, etc. etc., they also sell and rent all the important equipment you need to dig, trench, build, garden, etc. at reasonable prices from large scale to small scale. They also fix all your small engine stuff like mowers and weed eaters and do so really, really well. I LOVE this store! They also have dog and horse supplies, houseware, canning supplies - just all kinds of cool stuff. We are incredibly lucky to have this place in our small town and we have always been treated really well. So don't listen to those other reviews at all because Willits Power has what you need at fair and honest prices.

I used Apple tap to pay with a debit card that was compromised later that day. the bank canceled that card (what timing?!) so... when I went to return the item, I was turned away because I could not use the tap method. they could not find the purchase and told me that I should just "sell it on eBay" or Google our corporate phone number if that doesn't work. This was my absolute worst experience with Home Depot's customer service department EVER! I was (not) helped by a young woman named Lily. I don't know how a company would hire somebody with that terrible of customer service skills to be their on site manager. but once I raised enough chaos with other cashiers, I found another manager that was totally willing to help me? and they resolved my situation with store credit. (Amazing!) I was absolutely blown away that somebody would tell me to "sell it on eBay" as my only other option since they couldn't 'prove' that I actually purchased this item in the store. Somehow, my bank records were not enough. I knew exactly what register I bought it on, and we went to that register and looked up the history, found it, and resolved it very quickly!! ... albeit no thanks to Lily. Hanna, the other supervisor on duty for cashiers was AMAZING!!!!! So helpful, nice, and had empathy that totally refreshed my faith. What is up with the younger generation??! No social skill, empathy, or general pleasantness. Like you are being paid to help customers specifically... do the job don't patronize me. Thank you Hanna!!!! I was told by a nice salesman that they need to move back stock around so they can get it in the floor to restock and cut it! I should call back in a few hours to see if that was done. I've called back between 4-8:30 7 times I was put on hold , transferred and then was disconnected. What does it take for reasonable service? This is ridiculous for a $600+ purchase to be treated this way! I guess only game in the area you can treat customers as poorly as you want to! What a shame

I've called and visited in-person a number of times to ask about supplies and what time of year to undertake various projects. As a new homeowner, I am realizing that home ownership entails constant upkeep projects! Most recently, I needed firebricks to line my wood burning stove. When they did not have enough in store, Gualala Building Supply promptly ordered more and called me directly when they arrived. I appreciate their employees making themselves available for recommendations, as well as their follow through on orders!

As with the Gualala Supermarket and Surf Market, prices tend to be higher because of the remote location. Definitely recommend if you are looking for frozen items - as their selection is broader/cheaper than what you see in Gualala! Open daily from 8am-7pm, great place to get staples or odds and ends for the home.

This facility does have a fair bit of quality product, however and unfortunately, the reason we…read moregive two stars is because this "HARDWARE STORE" has totally lost track of what a hardware store is all about. We recently gathered a few supplies and made our way to the register. Some of the items were in pre-packaged bags. Some of them were tiny parts collected from bins, with price's and amounts written on bags. We could see they provided small brown paper bags, along with short pre-sharpened pencils. We spent time looking for what we needed then carefully wrote the amount of money that each item cost, and the number of items for said amount. The total amount of tiny collected items added up to roughly $1.75. At the checkout register, we were informed that the store requires the customer go back and write down separate SKU numbers for each tiny item in the bags, in addition to what we already wrote on the bag the price and the amount. We did not have time to walk all the way back go through the bins again to get the SKU numbers so we offered to pay over the price and give 2 . The store held tight on their policy and would not take the two dollars. Rossi's answer was "NO" The Rossi employee rejected our offer in front of everybody else in line. We kindly asked if it would be possible to have a customer service representative gather the SKU numbers for us while we scanned and purchased the remaining items that had SKU numbers already. Rossi's answer was "NO" We continued with the transaction excluding the items that we had collected from the bins. At the end of the sale, i opened my wallet and pulled out a $5. dollar bill cash for the $1.75. worth of items in the bags. Then asked a Rossi employee if it would be acceptable to pay a huge overage and get the items we needed without having to go all the way back and dig up all the SKU numbers on the separate little items .................. Rossi's answer was "NO" Respectfully, citizens of Albion, FortBragg, Mendocino, and beyond
