We needed cabinets and storage for our garage. We contacted Coast Design & Build Bakersfield at 661-344-404. We quickly received a walk through and estimate. In a matter of days, the cabinets arrived and were installed. The cabinets are beautiful and all hardwood. There is no particle board used, the workmanship is excellent, and the price was very reasonable. Great experience. Professional, supportive, and experienced. We had to do an unexpected remodel due to a water leak, and the team worked with our needs, they were cost-effective, and creative in the discussion around what would be needed in the bathroom. The entire team was friendly, personable, and more importantly, extremely easy to work! Their work was done in a non-intrusive way and all space was kept clean. Any changes needed while working on the project were always vocalized to be able to make decisions based on costs . So glad we happened to see their sign in our neighborhood!!! read more

We just completed a bathroom remodel with Coast Design & Build and MILA. Our bathroom turned out beautifully! We are so pleased with the end product. We have worked with many different contractors and remodel teams throughout the years, and we highly recommend Coast Design & Build and MILA. While there are many strengths to this team of contractors, I'll highlight the top reasons for what made our experience so great: - Great leadership - Yomi Beja was our project manager and Roee is the owner. They take pride in their product/service and have a wonderful willingness to work with you to achieve exactly what you want. Yomi was great at allowing me creative freedom to implement some unique designs! I think this is a real strength of their company! If you are a busy person and would like them to manage all the details, you can choose from their selection of fixtures and materials and they will run with it, but if you want to micromanage your project (as we did) and try different design styles, they allow you the freedom and support to do that as well. - One of the nicest, kindest group of contractors we have ever worked with! Everyone is so respectful and easy to communicate with. - Really good subcontractors .... great quality plumbers, tile experts, and installers. - Honest pricing - this is rare to find in my opinion. It was so refreshing to be quoted for a large project and for that price to be honored/accurate to the end. - Full service! - we really appreciated that they took the care and time to protect our home before starting the project by hanging quality plastic for the walls/hallways and laying floor covering to protect our entry and foyer. They provided an outdoor toilet and sink service for all the contractors to use. They even provided a cleaning crew at the end to clean the bathroom. - As I once heard, the greatest compliment to give a contractor once you've finished a large project, is ... We still want to work with your team in the future :) We truly love our bathroom and are planning to use them for our next bathroom remodel (Master). Thank you to a wonderful group of peopl read more

Coast design and build did a makeover our front yard and our back yard. We are extremely satisfied with the outcome. They demo everything and installed turf, rocks, pavers and stepping stones and the borders. They were very professional. From day one Melina kept in contact with us and finished the job in the timeframe we were given. When the job was complete, they even cleaned up all the mess and washed everything down. There are absolutely amazing and did great job. We highly recommend Melina with coast design and build for any work you may need done. read more

Coast Design and Tile is a great company. We were only going to update our kitchen and ending up adding updates to the master bedroom and laundry room. Dory is very knowledgeable, patient and great to work with. What made the experience even better was that we went to Mila Tile Kitchen Bath to pick out our new materials. Dory & the Designer, Jamie, assisted us in selecting everything from Quartzite to new sinks & faucets. Loved the "One Stop Shop" instead of going from place to place to find everything we wanted. Our only regret is that we didn't call Coast Design sooner! read more

. We chose Coast Design & Build to remodel our house and I highly recommend them for any home project. Our remodel was on a larger scale since our house was built in 1970 and needed a complete make over. We wanted to gut our kitchen, 3 bathrooms, laundry room, living room, as well as add new lighting, doors, and floors through the house. They offered us an accurate timeline for each project with progress updates along the way, competitive pricing with an amazing financing option, and were committed to their work until our satisfaction was met. I can now say that the old house we moved into, is now our beautiful newly remodeled home that brings a smile every time we walk in the door. Thank you Coast Design and Build! read more

I had the pleasure of working with Eyal, project manager, who helped me from the beginning to the end in renovating my kitchen. I had plans of changing my backsplash as well as countertops for a more modern and bright design. Eyal was very insightful and patient with me when picking out the materials. The project took approximately 2 weeks and everyone was professional with their craft and was responsive. Will recommend this company for any type of home renovation. My husband and I had Coast Design and Build remodel our master bathroom. The whole crew was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. Two aspects of the business that come to mind immediately are their excellent customer communication and their commitment to superb craftsmanship. We got texts from Dan or Antonette every day saying who was coming to the job site and when. Eyal welcomed all our questions (and we had a lot!) and explained the process clearly throughout. Coast made sure every aspect of the design turned out perfectly, and we are so pleased with the final product. We will certainly use them again for future home projects. read more

We really can't say enough good things about Coast Build and Design. From inquiry to completion of the project and beyond Eyal our project manager answered all our questions in a timely and satisfactory manner. They help us choose all the materials tru Mila Kitchen and Bath. Their attention to detail was outstanding and they really worked hard to make this a good experience for us. They are professional, easy to work with, bring skilled tradesmen to the project and stand behind their work. I should be clear that Coast Design and Build is not a cheap alternative, but the result is first class. We have no hesitation in recommending them for renovations large or small and in fact we are planning to have them back to work on our outdoor kitchen/BBQ island. We were referred to Coast design through a family member who had already had a successful master bathroom renovation with them. I have to say I could not have been more grateful for that referral, they are the most dedicated, professional and efficient group that I have had the pleasure to work with. Had a great experience with coast so far. I actually reached out through Yelp about a possible bathroom remodel. George was able to get back to me via Yelp in under 5 minutes and set up an appointment to come look at my house that same day. George was the one that came out and he told me he was the owner. He listened to what I wanted and then gave me suggestions based on what I wanted. He also suggested what would look good based on color preference. We were very happy with him, and will be using him in the near future.. read more

Outstanding customer service from the beginning to the end. :) My experience with Coast Design and Build couldn't have gone any better. I called several local businesses near me to get estimates for remodeling my kitchen. To my surprise only a few showed up. This remodeling company in particular was very thorough and gave me clear details in what was going to be done. The contractor George was then able to walk us through the steps in reconstructing my kitchen and made us feel at ease. They called us and checked back with us each step of the way to make sure we was happy with there general manager and there workers. Once the project was done the workers cleaned up my place spotless and George came by and grabbed a broom to make sure of that lol I couldn't be happier with the size I got back from my kitchen remodel with the whole face looking new and modern. I am excited to live in my home again lol. I so recommend the staff here and there hard workers. They go above and beyond and worked very hard daily while making sure we was comfortable. Thanks for the job well done guy.!!!!!! read more

My husband & I hired CD&B to remodel our master bathroom and kitchen. The remodeling process was smooth from beginning to end. We have used Coast Design and Build for 2 different projects this year. First, we needed the countertops in our kitchen replaced because the home we bought was 14 years old with some serious broken edges in the existing granite. They came in and replaced them with newer and brighter granite and finished in record time. We were so happy that we asked them to come back and retile one of the bathrooms, and again we had speedy and professional work. We are older and needed to stay close to our budget, and they were willing to help us do just that with a little room to spare. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone, and I am sure we will call them again as we move into updating some of the other bathrooms. Thank you for your friendly and speedy service. I've been wanting to have my Kitchen and Powder Room upgraded and updated for sometime now and when I had the opportunity to have this done, I contacted #CoastDesign&Build after reading all the reviews and the before and after photos on their portfolios. Met up with Roee , Yomi and assured me the job will get it done. There were many challenges that we encountered as we started the project. One, I was not physically present as I went overseas for 12 days. Two, which is the most problematic we encountered was when the team were getting the quartz slabs, the third party store we brought it from damaged all 3 slabs as they were transferring it to deliver it to the team. It caused so much delays and the team has to wait for additional week to get the slabs reordered pressuring the store to have them available ASAP which caused the Third challenge, to finish it on time for a party planned in the next few days . Yomi and the team worked hard to meet this challenges working overtime and Roee utilized all the manpower they can get and for that I was extremely appreciative and thankful. Workmanship was at par and exceeded my expectations and the team are friendly and good to work with despite meeting those stress and challenges. They worked above and beyond and even some to meet those goals. Definitely will recommend their services and for our future projects. read more

Coast did a great job preparing properly, managing expectations, communicating and the work itself was wonderful!

Coast Design & Build is the absolutely BEST construction company to work with! I searched for many contractors and called many companies but was extremely disappointed & frustrated because they wouldn't answer my call and when they did, they either wouldn't get back to me or wouldn't show up to the scheduled appointment! I am a real estate agent and was trying to help my clients by recommending them to someone reputable, honest, trustworthy and who did great work but it's very difficult to find these days with contractors. Thank God I found Roee who is the owner of Coast Design & Build, he answered my first call, was extremely professional and courteous over the phone and invited my clients and I to his showroom in town. Let me tell you how impressed I was with his showroom, WOW!!!! It's the most gorgeous place I've seen and you immediately see the quality and attention to detail that goes into this work. My clients hired Coast Design & Build and were thrilled with their decision. Since then I have only recommended this company to all of my clients and even hired them to remodel my own home. If you're looking for a quality and trustworthy company, call them!!! Don't waste your time calling around, dealing with flakey contractors and even worse, getting into a situation where you regret working with whoever you hired. A huge thanks to Roee and the entire team! read more

We recently needed new counters in our kitchen. After screening several contractors, we chose Coast. They were so easy to talk to and explain exactly what we wanted. The couple of small problems we encountered during the process were quickly handled to our satisfaction. The result of the work is a completely modernized kitchen that suits our style and needs. I requested a quote to update my 1985 1675 sq ft house that included a farm sink, leveled bilevel bar, granite counters in kitchen and both bathrooms, new stainless appliances, painted cabinets, wood look tile floors throughout, updated ceiling lights in kitchen and both baths, new ceiling fans, new shower, new fixtures, new entry double doors, new interior doors, new door handles and locks, interior paint (2 colors, 3 different sheens), new closet sliders, all demo trash hauled off. They quoted me 35k just to update my very small kitchen, which included keeping my existing cabinets ( good quality, well-built) but refacing the doors and drawers, new lighting, new appliances, and not including floors. Told me there was no way I could do my list for my budget of 50k. Whelp, here I am, 2 months later with virtually a brand new house inside for $54k by hiring independent, licensed contractors on my own. I'm sure Coast does very nice work but really? 35k for a tiny, 200 sq ft kitchen? Then telling me good luck when I declined? I'm super happy with all the work I designed and hired out on my own. read more
