There's a story When you think about it, homes reflect "homeowners" because what we do, how we grow, and even how we love can be reflected. All homes are no more than a blank canvas, and how we made that happen is possibly the greatest joy our family has known. Frankly, this knowledge didn't exist in our minds, not in the beginning, and certainly not in the early years. We spent a lot of time and money working on "smaller" projects that transformed our home, but in "small" ways; not always to our own liking. The result was "well", maybe we can try again next year. We are not a try "next year" kind of people, so we set out on a mission to find a "big" solution that would give us what we had always wanted and "make it happen". The first step was to seek a professional company with experience and expertise that we could never have dreamed of. We are proud to share with you, Coast Design and Build - MILA Showroom, which brought life into our home and hearts. Coast Design and Build - MILA Showroom is a large company that provides serious services, capable of transforming your home into your dreams. We experienced the process and enjoyed every twist and turn as they created a living dream. Expertise in both management and construction, the store will provide more than enough in the showroom to allow you to choose how your home will be transformed. I would also like to recognize a few heroes in the process: Project Manager: Melina Meyer Design: Jaime and Cesar Owner: Roy Construction Crew: Moises, Jairo, Francisco, Ronaldo & Alex You have our appreciation: Glenn and Chanh Porter read more

I'm one of those people who are ALWAYS working on projects on my house. I constantly watch "fixer" shows and swear Joanna Gaines is my BFF. So I get a lot of DIY related posts on my timeline when I'm scrolling through my social media platforms. I was minding my own business, just a scrolling away when a post from Mila Tile Kitchen Bath stopped me dead in my tracks! I have just recently purchased the Cafe line of matte white appliances, but have not found a range hood to my liking until I seen this post. I quickly commented on the post, but then went to the page and just decided to message them directly. I received a response in less than 5 minutes. They answered my questions and even sent me pictures of what they could order for me! I will be heading to the showroom in the next few weeks to check out my options but I'm pretty sure I will be getting this hood! read more

We had a great team of workers that transformed a boring bathroom into a beautiful space. Jaimy and Ari helped me make great design choices to make my vision a reality. The work crew was professional and kept the workspace clean. Ari would check in every day either by phone or in person to inspect the progress. The job was finished ahead of time and looked wonderful. I would definitely use them again on future projects. read more

We just completed a bathroom remodel with Coast Design & Build and MILA Tile Kitchen Bath. Our bathroom turned out beautifully! We are so pleased with the end product. We have worked with many different contractors and remodel teams throughout the years, and we highly recommend Coast Design & Build and MILA. They take pride in their product/service and have a wonderful willingness to work with you to achieve exactly what you want. If you are a busy person and would like them to manage all the details, you can choose from their selection of fixtures and materials and they will run with it, but if you want to micromanage your project (as we did) and try different design styles, they allow you the freedom and support to do that as well. MILA is a true one stop shop. They have a beautiful showroom (which is difficult to find in Bakersfield) to help you visualize options available to you. We love the bathroom vanity that we purchased through them! It is such a strength of the 2 companies (MILA and Coast Design & Build) that they are sister companies. It really makes it so much easier for the customer to be able to pull together the dream bathroom or kitchen that they are desiring. We enjoyed working with Deisy (design specialist) to help us make decisions about the materials and fixtures for our remodel. And thank you to Antonette who makes the whole process run smoothly. She is super organized and communicates so well with the customer. We truly love our bathroom and are planning to use them for our future bathroom remodel (Master). Thank you to a wonderful group of people! read more

We worked with Jamie at Mila Tile Kitchen Bath along with Dory from their sister company, Coast Design Build. Our experience has been great. They have been very helpful & assisted us in our selection of all materials. We have been treated very well & couldn't ask for a better experience. We were planning to update our kitchen & ending up adding updates to the master bathroom & laundry room. Photos will follow once the project is completed! read more

I'm not one to do this. But I ran out of patience. Waited for about 2 hours for my flooring after I called ahead. They said it would be here at 3pm. They kept giving me the run around. Gave me 3 different times after I showed up. Very un professional. Flooring didn't show up. Waisted my time. read more

They say this is a luxury store, but it's basically a physical Amazon supplier that marks their products up by 3x. Terrible customer service. I would give them no stars if I could. 10/10 do NOT recommend. read more

Working with Cesar was a wonderful experience! I went in to the showroom to look for quartz to remodel our kitchen counters, and he was so helpful, replied to all of my questions promptly, and even found the specific backsplash tile i wanted that wasn't something they already carried and got me a great price :). I've never had such a wonderful experience with someone going above and beyond and truly caring about our experience throughout our kitchen and bathroom remodel. i highly recommend Cesar and Mila tile and will only return to them when we are ready for the next bathroom to be re-done. read more

We used Mila for materials for our newly remodeled bathroom. Eyal helped us pick shower wall tile, shower floor tile, and accent tile that coordinated and met our price points. We also customized a beautiful vanity from Mila with a coordinating countertop. All the finishes are high quality and absolutely gorgeous. We get so many complements on our new bathroom! I would recommend Mila Tile Kitchen & Bath to anyone and everyone. read more

I saw an add on Facebook for Mila, so I decided to take a drive to Bakersfield to get an estimate on quartz and tile backsplash for my kitchen. I've been wanting to have my Kitchen and Powder Room upgraded and updated for sometime now and when I had the opportunity to have this done, I contacted #CoastDesign&Build after reading all the reviews and the before and after photos on their portfolios. Met up with Roee , Yomi and assured me the job will get it done. There were many challenges that we encountered as we started the project. One, I was not physically present as I went overseas for 12 days. Two, which is the most problematic we encountered was when the team were getting the quartz slabs, the third party store we brought it from damaged all 3 slabs as they were transferring it to deliver it to the team. It caused so much delays and the team has to wait for additional week to get the slabs reordered pressuring the store to have them available ASAP which caused the Third challenge, to finish it on time for a party planned in the next few days . Yomi and the team worked hard to meet this challenges working overtime and Roee utilized all the manpower they can get and for that I was extremely appreciative and thankful. Workmanship was at par and exceeded my expectations and the team are friendly and good to work with despite meeting those stress and challenges. They worked above and beyond and even some to meet those goals. Definitely will recommend their services and for our future projects. read more

MILA Tile Kitchen & Bath is the absolutely BEST construction company to work with! I searched for many contractors and called many companies but was extremely disappointed & frustrated because they wouldn't answer my call and when they did, they either wouldn't get back to me or wouldn't show up to the scheduled appointment! I am a real estate agent and was trying to help my clients by recommending them to someone reputable, honest, trustworthy and who did great work but it's very difficult to find these days with contractors. Thank God I found Roee who is the owner of MILA Tile Kitchen & Bath, he answered my first call, was extremely professional and courteous over the phone and invited my clients and I to his showroom in town. Let me tell you how impressed I was with his showroom, WOW!!!! It's the most gorgeous place I've seen and you immediately see the quality and attention to detail that goes into this work. My clients hired MILA Tile Kitchen & Bath and were thrilled with their decision. Since then I have only recommended this company to all of my clients and even hired them to remodel my own home. If you're looking for a quality and trustworthy company, call them!!! Don't waste your time calling around, dealing with flakey contractors and even worse, getting into a situation where you regret working with whoever you hired. A huge thanks to Roee and the entire team! read more
