You know the old saying, "You get what you pay for?". Not if you use Stockdale Kitchen and Bath! The etch-a-sketch software they use to design our master bathroom does not calculate the drywall, plaster and tile which matters when every inch counts. "We won't start the job until all material is received". 8 days later, "we got a huge job elsewhere so we're going to start on your bathroom now and continue as material comes in." Taking time off work to accommodate their schedule was a pain. The crew that did the demo and new installation installed the Shower faucet that leaked causing water to fill between the walls on the first use. They had to come out, install new faucet and replace the drywall. Rick stopped responding to my call and emails so I was forced to communicate with the contractor he hired. Stucco cracked on outside wall where they installed the soap dish cubby. The shower drain had to be brought up to code bustarted smelling less than a year later. This would happen every few months. Called a plumber who ran a camera and found gravel in the line and said it's either from the install or a connection came loose and debris is filling the line. Ran into Rick and asked him about it and was told "it's out of warranty". The only bright side was that the cabinets we picked out came out great and the tile work was perfect. read more

When we decided to remodel our kitchen we randomly drove around looking for kitchen shops. We found SKB open late on a Tuesday afternoon, and Rick welcomed us into the showroom and started chatting. He scheduled us a measure appointment at our house, and it all snowballed from there! He helped us design our kitchen, shopped for each of the design elements, and coordinated all the work through his highly skilled contractors, Dave and Henry. We never felt pressured into making any decisions, but rather Rick and his team are so knowledgeable in what they do we felt confident in their suggestions. I truly feel that I ended up with a kitchen that even exceeded what I had set out to achieve, so much so that when I watch TV shows or look on Zillow at other homes, there's no homes (even at higher price points than mine!) that have a kitchen that i like nearly as much as my own :). Since renovating our kitchen, which in fact was a complete gut and overhaul of our previous kitchen, i have been cooking and baking so much more than before, thanks to newer, quality appliances and the openness of the kitchen. My baked goods are in such high demand at work, and my coworkers want to have our staff meetings at my house just to take advantage of the kitchen and the open flow of the kitchen/living room/dining room. Definitely one of the things that every person comments on is the backsplash (pictured) that Rick helped us pick, as well as the spaciousness and usefulness of the kitchen island and the "Fanciness" of the pantry door. Once the project got started, it actually went so quickly that it finished a few weeks ahead of schedule, which is always a welcome occurrence. I recently had a large renovation project, including kitchen, laundry room and 2 bathrooms. The finished project is even better than I imagined. My decor is now modern and beautiful; the workmanship and products are superior. In thinking about the whole project, two things especially deserve a 5-star rating. The owner creates designs alongside the client, so that he makes changes in real time with the owner's input. The second thing that was invaluable to me was that the owner shops with the client to select appliances, tile, flooring, etc., advising what items would be best-suited to the project. The owner showed up for the scheduled appointment to measure my kitchen for a pretty extensive rebuild--water damage. As he looked at the torn out cabinets, tile, and part of the wall. He asked who did that--I told him and he said oh insurance. Then he said insurance is just a coupon--he is undoubtedly right but that is between me and the insurance company. Mind you he did not ask how much I wanted to spend or tell me how much it would cost, he just said he could not do the peninsula counter and he had done a lot of these, and they take out the soffets, get rid of the hanging cabinets and build an island. Then he says, "I don't think this is a job for me." I said it's your company and you don't want the work. I thought you were a professional." I honestly contacted the company because the website showed work I though looked promising. Maybe I just looked too poor for his business. I most certainly do not recommend them because of what I think was very unprofessional behavior. read more

Do not get your house remodeled by stock dale kitchen. Took them 8 months to complete a small kitchen remodel when I signed a contract stating it should only take them 3 months.They made appointments to come fix my kitchen no call no shows. They have one poor guy completing 20 jobs at the same time. No wonder it's taking them so long.Finally after 8 months of this mess.I have a kitchen but a very poorly done kitchen. I'm no professional and I could of done a better job But I paid a suppose professional. Ill be posting pics below.These liars filed a restraining order a week after my husband called to complain.saying that he threatened them. Allegations were false but who believes anyone with a record.Only because I posted a bad review.So now they can't fix the issues they promised they would fix. Because of the restraining order. These people filed a false report only to get out of fixing the mistakes they made.please save yourself the headache and find yourself a better qualified professional. read more

They made countless mistakes despite multiple corrections and clarifications and when brought to their attention blamed me, were extremely rude and refused to fix them. The team at Stockdale is exceptional. I've worked with many contractors over the years but Stockdale has been hands down the best, most experienced in cabinetry and a high level of professionalism. The owner answers and returns calls timely, when consulting him on out of the box solutions to my kitchen and ancillary room problems... He listens and consults. He loves using imagery to explain and I couldn't have appreciated it more. The office staff is also responsive and his showroom is to die for. If you are looking for a designer to listen, solve and work within your budget there is no other option. I only wish I had more Kitchens and remodels to do. But I highly recommend him! read more

So I called these guys out to fix a simple leak in my daughters sink at her house. Not only were they several hours late, when I called to see what the hold up was they said " if you don't like the service than call someone else." When they finally came and knocked on the door I was greeted with 2 guys that both reeked of alcohol and apologized and said "sorry lunch took longer than expected". They were stumbling around and broke 3 of my cabinet doors and said nothing about it. And when they left the sink smelled like beer and cigarette butts and my daughters sink still leaks. If you ever need any work done in your house I would ask McDonald's employees to do it before these guys. read more

It's not my fault you can't remember remodels and if scheduling is the issue maybe you guys should make some changes.. If you want your floors and cabinets done as well as stock sale kitchen and bath you could go to your local elementary school and give some third graders $20 and some power tools they could probably build cabinets of the same quality. Just go to Home Depot and hire some people out front that know what they are doing. read more

We ended up with a great looking kitchen it came with a few bad experiences,mix ups with the back splash found out after it was almost done had to tear it out which cost us $ and time ,it took them almost two weeks to figure out if they could do a edge for the granite that we pick out, it was delay after delay and some Communication problems what was suppose to take 6 to 8 week ended up being nearly 3 month ,in the end it turned out great ricks seems to be a nice guy just wish we didnt run in to these problems read more

We had been in a perpetual home redesign since I retired as cofounder of My Sisters closet several years ago (I became a DIY Network and HGTV junkie) Les retired from Open and Shut Enterprises in March 2013 as co-founder of Cofer & OberIies, Inc. and we both wanted the kitchen to be unique and extremely functional. We decided to contact Rick Sorci to do our kitchen remodel as I had dealt with Rick's father many years ago. This was not a project that we felt we could tackle by ourselves, it consisted of new cabinets, granite counter tops, recessed lighting, tile and wood flooring. Rick and his team proved to be hands on contractors, Rick worked hand in hand with me from measure to design he took the time to go shopping with me, guiding me through the decisions on all things from appliances to paint colors. We did get in touch with 3 other contractors but Rick was able to tie down the estimate with fewer unknown factors than the others.
