i was looking to convert my garage to a ADU for my mother at my rental property. I contacted several companies including Code Construction. when I called they advise me that they do not service my zip in Bakersfield they only service zip codes 93311 or 93312. I asked why and they advice me "they just don't." seem very limited and short sided and I was put off. Thankfully other general contractors did service my area. I did an earlier reviewed and was removed due to my lack of explanation. I received a call from this company as soon they saw my prior review and try to back paddle on their earlier statements. So I decided to give them a chance to redeem themselves. I had the initial consultation and it was very brief and almost forced. Still weighing my options but that's was first hand experience with this company. If they end up my selection for this project I wil l post a follow up. read more
