I really cannot recommend this company enough. I got several quotes, and theirs was very competitive. I checked and made sure they were licensed and bonded as well as looked at BBB and Yelp reviews before choosing them. I have 3 cats, and had carpet in my bedrooms, which just wasn't working out, so I wanted to replace the carpet luxury vinyl planking. They came out and measured and sent me a quote the same day. They also hooked me up with Flooring Liquidators, and I was able to get exactly what I wanted reasonably priced. Originally I was told it would take 2 - 2 1/2 days for the project, but they finished in 1 1/2 days. Sean, Tony, and Tim at Diligent Flooring rescued our floors. We had hired another tile installer who struggled to remove our existing tile and soon found out he was in over his head. At that point we knew we had to find someone we could trust to do the job right. This was too big of an investment. Tony came out to measure for a quote and assured us that they could finish the project. They were able to start the next week and from the first day we knew we had made a good decision by switching to Diligent Flooring. They were very professional and knowledgeable. Turns out our foundation was in very poor shape hidden under our carpet and pad. It was no where near level. Sean and his team worked extremely hard to make the foundation level in order to lay our porcelain wood plank tiles. We had a total of 2,300 sq ft of tile and they did an awesome job, even removing and relaying the tile in some areas because Sean wanted to make sure it was done as if it were his own. They all worked very hard for two full weeks and completed the project beautifully. These guys know what they are doing. Well this term describes Sean and his team from Diligent Flooring perfectly!! We had such a wonderful experience working with them. After 16 years, we decided that it was time to change most of the flooring in our home. We called several companies for quotes on doing the floor installation. My wife and I were most comfortable with Sean and his team. Tony came over at the scheduled time and date to take the measurements of our floors. He was professional, friendly, and answered all our questions. My wife did most of the talking over the phone with Sean. He also answered all of our many questions, gave us great information, and was easy to talk to. They promptly submitted the quote estimate to us through email. The price was very reasonable and very detailed!! Good to have an itemized breakdown of what everything will cost so there are no surprises! After choosing Diligent Flooring, we scheduled the installation to take place 2 weeks later. Again, they arrived at the agreed schedule. We met Sean face to face for the first time, and we felt validated that we had made the correct choice!! He worked on our floors along with Tony and Edgar (I think that is his name). When I inquire if they were late or not coming, there was no response or proposal of a different time. I would not recommend starting a job with this company. Sean, Tony and Gil of Diligent Flooring did a 10 plus job at my home. Arrived daily on time, layed 1300 sq ft of laminate, 125 sq ft of tile and another 35 sq ft of detailed cement tile. Every piece was installed as if it was there own home. They also reinstalled all my trim pieces perfectly. They even moved in furniture that I had stored in garage previously. Sean was very difficult to work with. Took the job knowing the time frame and that there would be other workers and then refused to work on days others were there working. He would not communicate with them to try and get the job done. Then complained about the job taking too long and not getting paid. He was paid the day work was finished. I phoned and the owner had me text him my home info etc etc, he set up an appt. for this past Mon. 4:30 pm and around 4pm we texted him to confirm that he will be at our home , we received a text back indicating he would not be able to make it " tied up on another job " so ,OK it happens, we then set up another appt. for Wed. today between 9-10am which was at his asking on the time frame so we agreed he was a no show today without a word.. Just had 1900 sf of wood look tile installed in my home by one of Sean's crew along with new base board throughout. They did an awesome job and finished two days ahead of schedule. I got three different quotes for the work, one was double the price and the other after hearing that Diligent Flooring had already given me a quote said that he couldn't beat Sean's price and never got back to me. I am doing a complete remodel of my house and am dealing with multiple contractors for painting, cabinets etc and it was nice dealing with at least one who answers his phone when I call. He really knows his stuff and easily handled all aspects of the install without an issue. He has an amazing attitude, is respectful of your home and is easy to have around during the installation. I am currently in the middle of a complete home floor remodel, and the company I contracted with sent Diligent Flooring over to do the demo and install of the new flooring. I will update my rating with before and after photos once the work is complete. Sean and his team were able to demo my nearly 2000sf home, with three different flooring types (most of it tile), and reserve my baseboard for future use in less than two days. They have paid attention to detail and talked me through every process. They arrived when they said they would, they got straight to work, and they have exceeded my expectations thus far. Having work done in your home is a stressful process and Sean has alleviated a TON of that for me by being extremely helpful with his knowledge and insight, and his ready & willingness to not only do the job, but to do the job to my liking. These people look professional but are very unprofessional. We just had wood flooring put throughout our four bedroom house and a week later the floor boards were popping up and sliding apart . The best part is to fix it they hammer the pieces together and put extra pieces of a different kind of flooring other then the one we ordered and glue it down. When I went to inspect it the guy told me wel if your going to be on your hands and fet all day your going to see the faults. I hammered it together. I told him him I'm standing up and I can still see it. These people do terrible work and do not take into consideration anything the homeowner tells them. read more

Diligent Flooring installed my flooring about 2 years ago and did a great job. I recently remodeled the kitchen and bathrooms and needed some repairs done to the flooring. So, I consulted Sean and he said it would be no problem and take about half a day to complete. Upon the first scheduled appointment, an employee of Sean's was sent to repair my floor. He claimed he was told it would be a quick repair of 1 board in the corner and that he couldn't fix my flooring because it would take too much time. I was confused because I had already consulted with Sean and discussed exactly what needed to be done. When I asked Sean what happened, he just said that his worker is a cry baby and doesn't want to work hard. No apology was given. So, Sean said he would have to come out personally and it would be another 2 week wait. I verbally confirmed the second appointment the day before. Sean failed to show up and no notification was given to me. I texted him. No response. I spoke with Sean the following day and asked why he didn't show up, and his response was, "I am a busy man." I then asked why I should be complacent with being stood up with no explanation as to why, and his response was, "I am a busy man. You should find someone else to do your flooring." Again, no apology was given. Sean is not the only one in this world that is busy and values his time. My time is just as valuable. I would rather of been told from the beginning that he was not available, and perhaps given a referral to someone else he trusted.
