I don't even want Ito give a single star to this! Horrible experience, I had bought 4 round trip tickets to NY from Boston for my Mom, grandmother, and uncles, and they are like 60s and 80s, when they got to NY, they confirmed with the driver where to wait for the return bus, and they even arrived there half hour early for return bus, they waited for more than an hour, no shows, and I was at Boston at the moment, and there is a thunder storm outside, I tried to call the company, auto msg only, no representative can talk to! I can't believe a company that you can't find any real human representative to talk to! I was crazily worrying about them! Luckily they made it to buy return tickets from another company! SCREW U GO TO BUS! read more

It was a really bad experience. I travelled with this bus from new york city yesterday，it was 96 degree outside and there was no ac in the bus. I will not take this bus any more. read more

Had a horrible experience booked bus to go from Maryland to New York. My self and 11 passengers waited at the bus stop for 3 hours we called several times and were told the bus was in traffic; at 11pm we were informed "sorry the driver forgot the bus stop and so wont be coming." They made no effort to get another bus or any other means of transportation. When we enquired about a refund they said it would take 3-5 working days or we could take a credit. Out of sheer desperation I took the credit for a trip the next morning. When that trip was cheaper they refused to refund the difference. Horrible service, would never do any sort of business with them again. Do yourselves a favor use another bus company. read more

First and last time booking with this company. Me and my girl friend was an hour early(5:50pm) on main st for a trip to Last Vegas that was scheduled to leave at 6:45pm. After the time to leave passed we called to see if there where any delays and was told the bus left at 6:45. There never was a bus and her , 10 other passengers and myself didn't see. If so why didn't the driver makes an announcement. There's not signs nor anything telling you where to go other than google maps. Money lost and a day of work missed because of this invisible bus. read more

I very caught this bus twice and that's enough for me..it never arrived when it's supposed to..it says 6 hours on the website (more like 8or9 hours) unsafe.. terribly unsatisfied..my advice? If you have to pay an extra 5 or 10 dollars..do it! This is not worth the headache..WILL NOT DO THIS AGAIN read more

Worst service by coach run inc. they dont have on time concept for their buses and even nobody listens also

just now I paid for an 8 am bus to Boston from the Bronx. I misread my ticket and thought it said 7:30a. So I was there by 7:14. Another woman was there at 7:40ish. We waited and waited. No 8 am bus came. I tried calling customer service, phone kept ringing. I tried email and live chat. No response until 8:30 via chat. I explained and the woman tried to tell me that the bus had left at 7:35-7:40a. I told her that's not possible. The bus was supposed to leave 47 Christie at 7:30. How would it have gotten to Bruckner Blvd by 7:35? Then she goes away and comes back with - they picked up 1 person at 8:10. Once again, how would that have been possible if I had been there since 7:15? This back and forth went on until the 9am showed up (late). Its one thing if something happens along the way, I get it. Things happen. But don't lie and say something happened when it never did. Ain't no way that bus even touched down at the Bronx pick up location while I was there. And yes, I got on the late 9 am bus. read more

This is for the NYC North Quincy line. They take an absurd route to get out of NYC, which adds a lot of travel time. Calculate a six hour ride when it should be five at most. read more

Listen dudes, this is an $8 bus that'll get you there. They will be late, the driver might be a little cranky, and there may or may not be a guy walking around with his shirt off (hardly the management's fault... again $8 bus). If you can afford the limoliner, take it, but if not, the coach run will do the job handily. P.S. Keep your eyes on your luggage probably. read more

Terrible customer service. We had an unexpected schedule change and were looking into rescheduling our tickets or asking for a refund. We called Coach Run (prior to bus departure) and were told we could be reimbursed for our tickets and that the process would take some time. After calling back to follow up, we were told we couldn't be refunded as promised because the departure time had already passed. read more

Travelled from Boston-to JFK on the 08/21/2018. This was the worst experience Ive ever had with Coach run service. On the website itenary it is specifically written that the bus will reach JFK at 11.30. My flight was at 2.30 so I thought it would be perfect timing. By the time I reached The Bronx it was around 11.15 and we had to change to the other bus in order to get to JFK. I asked the driver if we would reach JFK on time, (11.30) and he said that he had to go and pick up one person from the Lagwardia airport and then we would go to JFK around 1'o clock. I took this bus because I thought they would drop the passengers on time at the airport. What would have happened if I misssed my international flight? There were other passenger to JFK in the bus. I tried speaking to the driver and his boss, and the boss seemed very rude and it seemed like he didn't understand anything about buisness punctuality. I showed my flight itenary and tried to convince them but they were so rude, especially the shuttle bus owner. I said I cant wait until 1 so I got out of the bus in The Bronx with my two huge suitcases. I called Lyft and had to spend another 50 dollars to get to the Airport on time. Please stay away from this bus if you are planning to go to the airport. They dont care about the itenary. Its bait to get people. I've tried to call the customer service to report this incident, and there was no person who answered: just automated messages. Pls stay away from this horrible bus service!!!! read more

Worst experience with customer service of coach run buses.. they were incapable to guide customer with location and then not ready to refund . Stongly suggest not to book with this company read more

Horrible experience. I wanted to take a bus from Boston- Chinatown and the bus never stopped at the place mentioned in my ticket and when i called them they told me the bus had already left, meanwhile i was waiting for the bus since forever. Very bad experience and poor customer service. read more

Took this bus three times now. It's quick, timely, and currently offers the most competitive price compared to the other bus companies. The demise of Yobus has brought up the price of bus tickets a little. Nevertheless, it's got a good price and gets you to Bos/NY in 4 hours read more

If I could give negative stars I would. My friends and I took the bus from NY to DC this past Sunday and it was a horrible experience. The bus didn't pick us up in the correct spot (we were literally all lined up by the bus stop sign, the driver parked around the corner and we all had to lug our stuff across the street to him). The bus was unbearably hot the entire ride - and this was in February. The heat was blasting and there was no way to fix it. I went up to the driver and told him how hot it was (everyone was sweaty, people were fanning themselves, it was straight up gross), he didn't speak English very well and did not fix the problem at all. We also stopped a total of 3 times before the final destination when the itinerary said we were only supposed to stop once before the final destination, making the trip longer than we all expected. The seats were absolutely disgusting, used tissues and food crumbs everywhere. I have taken buses multiple times before and I realize that if I want a more luxurious experience I should take a train, but this was straight up miserable and unlike any other bus ride I have taken. read more

Cheap, but the schedule is unrealistic and the company is not always reliable. The bus was supposed to go from Malden Center at 6 AM to Anderson Woburn Station at 6:40 AM to North Quincy at 7 AM to Framingham at 7:30 AM to New York at 11:30 AM. However if you google maps Anderson Station to North Quincy station arriving at 7 AM, it will suggest that you leave at 6 AM and typically takes 40 minutes to an hour which means it is unreasonable that you could leave at 6:40 AM and get there at 7 AM on a weekday. Even on a Saturday with no traffic or construction this takes 26-30 minutes. I bought a ticket for the 6:40 AM bus from Woburn to New York. After getting up at 5:30 AM this morning, the bus never showed up. When I tracked the bus status on gotobus.com at 6:40 AM, it said it had already left Woburn even though I was still there. No one answered the phone number listed on the ticket and gotobus was unable to get in touch with Coach Run. gotobus rescheduled my ticket to 10 AM leaving from North Quincy station as a one time courtesy, but said I would need to call Coach Run for a price adjustment. Because they also stop in Flushing before going to Chinatown the bus was an hour late arriving which is what it would be according to google maps traffic. If you take this bus, make sure you check the actual route (which is not listed in the booking section, only the tracking of gotobus) and then use a mapping with traffic on your computer to get a realistic time estimate, realize that you might have to buy a new ticket and wait 3 hours, bring toilet tissue and hand sanitizer, don't expect wifi, no plugs, your USB outlet may not work depending on your seat, and the bus might smell like urine (the bus I took from NYC to Boston was fine in terms of smell and wifi, but the Quincy to NYC was not). Also when I checked into Coach Run, I got another customer service number 617-695-1989 where I talked to a person, but they have not given me a price adjustment nor called me back yet. read more

I used to ride this line all the time because it was so convenient and reliable-before they moved part of their operations to Quincy. I'm not sure what happened during this transition but the service has now become incredibly unreliable. When I took the bus a few weeks ago to NYC, it was two hrs late. There wasn't bad weather, riders said that the driver was distracted and took a bunch of false detours. We were offered nether an apology nor a refund. read more

We booked our trip on Coach Run through Go To Bus. It was advertised to have power and wifi, which were required for me to work on the bus. The bus had neither. The driver didn't care, didn't apologize. I would not use Coach Run again, and would question the use of Go to Bus to book since the features available were misrepresented. read more

This is the only time I will be taking Coach Run. I booked their Boston to Jfk line, and I didn't realize there was a connection until I got the confirmation email. But whatever, as long as I make it in time for my flight. The bus arrived on time but departed late, even though everyone was on board and luggage was loaded. The toilet reeked when we first got on, even though no one had used it yet. But the real kicker was what happened because of traffic. I missed my bus connection by an hour, and when I got off I asked the driver and his assistant about it, their responses including phrases like "I don't know what to tell you," "I don't know what time your car will be here, just wait here," "It's your problem, it's your booking." No one cares if you make it to your destination on time, or at all. Spend your money elsewhere, I'm grateful this route doesn't go both ways because I would be getting a refund so quick. read more

The bus broke down in between boston and new york and they made us wait for another 2.5 hours for another bus to come from newyork. Why was the bus not checked before it left from boston? There was a gas leak in the back of the bus. While coming back there was no power in the electric socket to charge phones. The drivers do not understand what the passengers are saying and neither we understand what they are trying to say. Basic English training is lacking for drivers. I lost my umbrella in the bus in all the chaos and they told me to contact the new york office, the new york office told me to contact boston office and when I called boston nearly 10-12 times sometimes they said they have the umbrella and I can come pick it up and when I called where do I come to pick it up , she blindly said I never told you that we found your umbrella. I still have the customer rep( khwaan) voicemail to prove what a bunch of liars and callous swines these people are. read more
