It's me again .... I can say use to love this spot ... but I'll get to that later... I switched it up and ordered the Spicy Salmon Crunch Poke bowl.. the name is misleading because the spice wa not there. Other than that the dish was an amazing combination. From the salmon to the seaweed salad the pickled carrots and the citrus twist with the lime. I'm not a big fan of of the edamame but I missed it all together and went town.... NOW... my last visit here we were stuck with a waitress that wasn't what we were normal to when we visit ... WE GOT THE SAME WAITRESS .... Didn't get a name when we sat down just had no personality at all. The first time she could have been having a bad day. The 2nd time I can't accept that. Another pet peeve is leaving the appetizer plates in the table. I didn't even ask them to be cleared because I knew she wasn't going to do it. You can't work customer service with no personality. I would say something to the manager but the last time it was swept under the rug and she became defensive as of the waitress was prefect. At the end of the day I enjoyed my Poke bowl .. But if I come back and we get the same waitress Rowan I'll just go somewhere else. And I hate to do that because I bragged so much on this spot when it first opened. My husband and I sat at the bar. Wasn't very busy for a Saturday night which was concerning at first but decided to stay. The bartender was nice and attentive. Drinks were top tier delicious! We got the lavender and vanilla old fashion, the peach flavored martin, and the mule. All very good. We got the spicy crab rangoons - delicious - my husband got the Korean rice bowl and I got the pork & crab spring rolls with the rainbow sushi roll. Everything was perfectly done. No complaints there. What I loved most was the FRESH ginger with my sushi. My one complaint which is my complaint literally everywhere these days. It's really darn expensive but I get why. It's all really fresh but just peak at the prices before you go! It's a once in a while treat for sure. read more

First time going yesterday with a good friend and we were not disappointed! The decor was elegant but modern and gave a nice upscale feel without the upscale prices for the most part. We were seated immediately. They have a drink menu, a food menu and happy hour menu which we missed because we went early 3-4:30pm. I ordered the pork belly roll and the kimchi beef dumplings that came in a delicious broth. My friend ordered the Korean fried rice with chicken and the California roll. Each roll came with 8 pieces. Everything we had was delicious! I even tried the blackberry bourbon fizz cocktail, it was so GOODT! The price of the rolls was higher compared to when I buy sushi from other places but not insane. Overall everything was good, the price point is okay and our service was good but we did come at a less busy time. I did get a chance to glance at the happy hour menu and I would definitely recommend going during the happy hour time for your first visit and if you wanna get some things off of their regular menu, feel free. read more

Best experience I've had in a while!! The food was amazing, the bar drinks were top tier!! My bartender Stephanie was not only a good drink maker but a great conversationalist. We ate quickly and left because we were so cold. We mentioned the temp to the waiter, who agreed it was cold, but did nothing. We ate while wearing our puffy jackets. We noticed most of the patrons were wearing their coats while eating. The staff didn't care. I don't get it. A successful date night tonight at CO. It was incredibly busy tonight. I knew it would be being a new restaurant in Forest Acres. Our server Hanna was excellent and a true gem to wait on us. Our food was delayed of no fault of hers and she was very quick to apologize. We started with the Curry Shrimp and Beef and Kimchi Dumplings. They both were delicious and the Curry Shrimp is a favorite from going to the Charlotte and Charleston locations. The dumplings were cold is the only thing. Still very flavorful but would have been even better if they would have been fresh. My husband got the Korean bowl and I got the crispy Tuna. Both so tasty!!! We finished with the cheesecake wontons. We tried CO after noticing that it was tightly tucked into the corner of Trenholm Plaza. Our lunch date was primarily focused on testing the sushi selection. Our gyoza appetizer was pretty good! The quality was very high, so I assumed it was homemade. Our sushi rolls were the firecracker and spicy tuna crunch. There wasn't anything that made this stand out for us, but the firecracker was by far better and more flavorful. Their spicy tuna is over milled and leaves a sticky texture while chewing. I would normally prefer spicy tuna over any other roll, but this one did not have the profile of a high-quality tuna. I wouldn't order it again. Our waitress was also responsible for greeting new customers at the door. She served most of the tables during lunch. She was friendly, competent, and balanced all of her duties very well. Went here for the first time and it was incredible! Our server was extremely familiar with the menu even with the restaurant being fairly new. For an appetizer we went with the tacos and spring rolls and then were curated so so so well. We couldn't get over it. The atmosphere is very moody and cool and the inside is large with lots of seating. It was also very clean in there as well. We ate at the bar and I have to say the bartender was just mediocre. We had to wait quite a while to order. We had gyoza and they were barely warm inside and they were very dry. A wide array of menu options ranging from small bites to sandwiches and rice dishes. For my first visit my guest and I opted to get the full experience and share an array of dishes including edamane dumplings, short rib Bahn Mi and mango summer rolls. Portions were generous and flavors were robust. The summer rolls were a bit bland and could have used a little more mint and riper mangos . However the peanut dipping sauce was delicious. The Bahn mi was DYNAMITE! The short rib was tender and flavorful and not overpowered by the French bread which was fresh and perfectly toasted to hold the sauces without creating a soggy sandwich. The presentation of the dumplings was unique as 4 arrived floating in a sweet soy broth. The filing was puréed and lacked flavor; next time I'd opt for a different variety. Great date night at CO!!! Atmosphere and decorations were great, great attention from staff (Special shout out to Kaleb who served us!) and food came out in a timely manner. We started with Crab Rangoons and Pork and Ginger Gyoza, they were delicious, pork was flavorful and these were the tastiest rangoons I've ever had (had to take some home to my mama!) For entrees we had the Korean short rib bahn mi and Vietnamese ramen, also very delicious. Ended the meal with the cheesecake wantons, which were so good.
