    This was the worse experience I ever had with a mattress center. Now I know why I buy them online…read more During the entire sales process, I felt like I was talking to a used car salesman. I had to be on my highest alert. Also, I was looking at purple mattresses and they had none of the newer versions in their store so I couldn't even try them out. But OK I ended up buying a tempurpedic, at least I was able to lie on it to get a sense of its feel. Well, these are the most expensive mattresses pretty much on the planet. So I placed my order I financed it and that was pretty easy to do. I was told it would be in within the next two weeks. Meanwhile I looked through the return policy. Once again the online return policy is so much better than the in-store. It would've cost me $99 to get the mattress returned and I only had a 30 day trial. Why I continued with this transaction. I have no idea because it just got worse. Three weeks after I ordered and I still did not have the mattress so I called to cancel. I ended up speaking to a woman who didn't know anything about the order and put me in touch with the owner. The conversation was rude and one-sided in his direction. He wouldn't cancel the deal. His explanation was he had a new inventory manager who didn't know he was supposed to expedite the mattress. Their process is to hold orders in the warehouse until they have a full truckload. Who knows how long that takes. Finally it arrived. . Why wasn't that told to me at the time of purchase? So after my mattress was delivered we begin enjoying our sleep on our new mattress. I will say the product is excellent and I would recommend it to anybody. But I would never buy through a store and especially this one. They got worse from here. I thought I'd test the return policy so I read it and I filled out the paperwork online as required expecting somebody to call me as the paper stated to get the return started. When that didn't happen, I called the store and they said we can't help me. You have to go through the people that we mention in the paperwork. I told them nobody called me and they said try again and that they could not help. Well it's probably been about 90 days now and still nobody has called me. What a mess. No wonder this store has such a bad reputation here on yelp. I will never buy a mattress from this store and most likely from any other store again. Good luck and I'm sorry I had to put up such a negative review but they earned it. buyer beware.

I said up front I'm not in a position to make a purchase on that day. they insisted on showing me mattresses and despite my reiterating I'm just looking they pushed and pushed, even leading me to the cheapest mattresses just to get a sale.

    We decided to replace our wood burning stove fireplace insert with a gas burning fireplace insert…read more We went to three different retailers and ended up buying from Heath & Home because they seemed the most knowledgeable and because a good friend purchased two gas burning inserts from H&H a few years ago and was very happy with the results. When we ordered the insert on September 13, the owner (Brian) told us that he had just purchased the store (he previously was a rep for Regency Stoves and had operated a smaller retail fireplace store in another location, where he had good reviews). Brian was very knowledge about all brands of inserts (not just the ones he currently sells) and was able to answer all of our questions. Installation was scheduled October 9. On October 8 H&H called us to say that they had received the wrong surround and trim (i.e. not the one we ordered) and offered the option of rescheduling the install (several weeks out) or installing the insert and then coming back to install the correct surround when they received it from the manufacturer. Since they said we could use the stove without the surround (it just isn't pretty). we decided to keep the original install date. The installers arrived on time and did a good job with the installation. Less than a week later H&H called and said they had the correct surround and would install it two days later. Again, they arrived when expected, installed the surround and trim piece and were on their way. The new H&H owner seems a little overwhelmed with taking over a larger business but he is very knowledgeable about the products and they followed through on all of the commitments they made to us. The gas fireplace insert is working well and is a delight!
