It was a pleasure to work with both Harris and Joaquin to accomplish this project. On both workdays, demolition, and then install, the workers that they sent out were very competent. This final closet is located in what is currently used as an office space. Therefore the closet has lots of wonderful shelves. With the possibility of this room, eventually becoming a bedroom, there is the option to change out this configuration, so that it becomes a clothes closet. We could not be happier! The total experience from design to installation left nothing to be desired as they were proactive, timely, competent and clean. Every interaction showed why a family run business is better than an impersonal box store. They asked questions for clarification rather than assume this is what we wanted. They had a "can do attitude" verses one full of excuses. The contractural agreement and payment schedule was straightforward and painless. I certainly would use them if I had to do it all over again but there is no need. Like I said, 2 years have passed and all is still very good! Lines and reveals are tight, uniform, and proportional. Paint job is superior to many others! It has held up well in the last year year and a half. As with any custom build, there were some unique challenges, and we had a request for a minor change here and there as our design evolved. Casey was attentive and creative in helping us in the process. He was always available to verify measurements to make sure our other trades could put stuff in the appropriate place (plumbing lines, outlets, etc). We are now 1+ years into living with the new kitchen, and even though it is of fairly modest size, we feel it has every amenity one could wish for, and facilitates ease in workflow as if it were much larger than it is! Andrews Fine Cabinets made this all possible, and they were easy to work with. We report zero problems as of 1.5 yrs of use. Doors and drawers still square and smooth. He came with all his supplies and was prepared, he swapped out my old, ugly lighting fixtures and put in the new ones no issue. He was careful but prompt with getting this task complete. I previously had read great reviews about All California Fencing on Yelp and saved the contact. I got estimates from 2 different companies. Harry from ACF met with us and explained everything about the installation, and they were able to accommodate our schedule by installing it within a couple weeks. We especially liked that he recommended a color that would blend in with our red barn. My parents had previously used the other company to install the front fences and gates, so we thought we'd use them again, especially as they promised us a discount for being a previous customer. But their estimate was still $10,000 more than the one provided by Harry! All California Fencing is the way to go, and we would never go anywhere else.

We asked for a quote from My WIndow Solutions, got one that was quite good. We had explained the rationale for getting a replacement window (the leak). Parry sent over his crew right away to caulk around the existing one so we wouldn't get any incursion while waiting for the new one to arrive and get installed. Nice! For this job, I had also asked to have a custom window casing and deep windowsill built. We agreed that I'd buy the materials (a particular trim profile and hardwood species), prime them, and they'd do the cutting and installation. This collaboration worked perfectly.
