2023 has probably got to the worst time for building or remodeling. Demand is crazy high, prices…read moreare through the roof and getting people to return a phone call let alone show up to a job has been the theme. However, Optimum Concrete has been one of the few subs we've worked with for our home renovation that have professional, on time, good at their craft and clean on the job site. They really are the best in town for concrete jobs. They care about their product and the owner himself shows up to the job site and works. Optimum poured a concrete wall for us, our pool dec, covered patios, custom bench and porches. They did a 5-star job and they'll be doing our driveway too. We went with a cheaper option earlier in our project and the work was subpar. They're not the cheapest in town, but they are the best. So grateful that Optimum finally was able to squeeze us into their busy schedule. Highly recommend.

I have used Optimum Concrete LLC for a total of 6 projects at my home over the past 10 years…read more Projects include initial drive way installation and additional driveway extensions on my home, concrete pad in front of my shop and foundation pad for an out building with concrete pad in front of that out building. Concrete thickness and exposed aggregate color were special specifications that I required. The exposed aggregate color match on the additional driveway extensions was impeccable. Optimum Concrete LLC is a super, dependable family owned company. They do top notch work and great to work with. They are passionate about what they do; Someone who loves what they do is much more likely to get the job done well. Crews were there when they said they would be and work was completed on time. Communication was excellent, bottom line they do what they say they will do. I highly recommend this trustworthy company.

Rogo's Finishing Touch

I bought a true fixer upper about a year ago. I tore out bad floor tile and carpeting throughout…read morethe house. I was left with a concrete floor that had been stained reddish brown decades ago. There were minor cracks and nail holes from the wood tack strips in addition to patches of old glue that couldn't be removed. I could have looked for new flooring options but I wanted to have the concrete refinished and sealed. Rogo's doesn't specialize in this -- they typically grind and add a colored polymer layer -- however, they took on my project. Indeed, it became more of a project than we all imagined. They used a 600 pound machine to grind the floors twice. The attached vacuum did an excellent job of controlling the dust. (Of course, no method eliminates dust completely so manage your expectations.) Unfortunately, the result left a blotchy floor that still had patches of the original reddish brown stain. A simple sealant wasn't yet possible. Instead, they applied by hand a stain that camouflaged most of the original stain. This was an experimental approach to be sure but I really wanted a concrete floor that looks like real concrete. The job took twice as long because of all the hand applications of the stain. Some areas of the floor required more or less depending on how much the original stain underneath shown through. This was a tough task and the project took twice as long at eight days. Those are the breaks when dealing with an old house: expect to be surprised and challenged. So, what was the result? Well, first, kudos to Julian, the artist who hand applied the stain and sealant. He and I were patient with each other during this adventure. The finish is a milky green grey concrete look that has subtle hints of the original stain underneath. It sort of looks like absinthe to me. It's a very subdued but unique floor with depth that isn't for everyone. It has the rawness of concrete that I love. Just as importantly, it respects the character of the house very well. A shoutout, too, to Joel who managed the project and was eager to do everything necessary to ensure that the result met my expectations. I felt that all of us worked together as a team and that's the key. Every year or two, I'll clean the floor and apply a coat of sealer to keep it looking good.

If only there were more stars! Rogo's Finishing Touch did a fantastic job on my casita. The crew…read morewere professional, friendly, conscientious, respectful of the property, and knowledgeable! You can't get any better than that! And, Richard, who came out to estimate the project, was all of the above...and beyond helpful and kind. I can recommend Rogo's wholeheartedly. Take a look at the finishing result. So beautiful! See what I mean?
