He didn't low-ball us, had the materials and tools he needed and took the time to do it right but didn't dawdle around all day, was friendly and smart, was knowledgeable and obviously good at his job, explained what he was doing, was attentive to my questions as well as my husband's, wore a mask, and actually fixed an extra little problem we had. He had long-standing, time tested recommendations for other work we asked about instead of promoting himself for jobs outside his field (you know who I mean, that incompetent plumber you hired in desperation who stands on your carpet in a puddle of gunk while giving you a pitch about installing your windows next week?) We engaged Ariel to install a new drop-in sink, and to our dismay it also had clips for an under mount installation that prevented the sink from fitting properly. Any other handyman would have simply said "Sorry, this doesn't fit", and we'd have been living without a sink for at least a few days if not longer.
