As a gentleman who has tried a few Korean fried chicken businesses, I can confidently say that my experience at Fire & Chicken was nothing short of a delicious revelation! I tried the snow chicken for the first time. The crispy exterior of the chicken was perfectly seasoned and cooked to golden perfection, while the meat inside remained juicy and flavorful. Each bite was a delightful burst of savory goodness. They also add a creamy sauce over white onions......truly amazing combination!!!!!! read more

Ambiance with their music was up beat and energetic, even if no one was there when I was. Seems when I was there most business was takeout/pickup. As I am always in search of crunchy, juicy chicken, I was hopeful I found another place I would like to frequent. I wanted the plain chicken to first experience the true essence of their fried chicken. But the guy helping me convinced me the garlic soy chicken was the most popular. Since he confirmed it is just done by putting the sauce on the chicken, having the sauce on the side gave me both options---the basic and I can dip it in the sauce to experience this so popular garlic soy chicken. I, like others, took it to go. The chicken was good, but not the best for me since it had a bit of a spicy kick which I did not appreciate. The daikon and rice (had to order it separately for $2??) helped balance out the spiciness. So that is not ideal in my mind. Though not on the menu, their funnel fries with Nutella sauce was recommended for a special treat. I figured why not? I think it was the best part of what I got (no spice at all ). The guy taking my order was very helpful but definitely not bubbly or engaging at all. However, no biggie in the end, it is about the food, but the experience is part of the larger picture too. read more

Very confusing, same plaza has two Korean fried chicken restaurants with very similar name. Anyways, I wanted to go to Chi Mc, ended up in this CM Chicken. It's more of a take out place. Cashier was nice and friendly. 25% off during happy hour. Need to wait around 20 mins for them to make all food fresh. Garlic Spicy chicken wings, not bad, sauce was on point with a kick, however the chicken crust was a little too thick and hard for me. Chicken was juicy inside. Truffle fries, skip it, not much to it Fried calamari with soy glaze, not good, too soggy and thick batter falling off because it's soaked in the soy glaze sauce. Overall, unless I think there might be better wings places around. read more

A friend recommended this place to me because I was craving chicken but wanted the Popeyes type breading. Ordered the fried chicken with a wait time of 15 minutes. There is limited seating; only 3 tables. I will recommend this be your take out type of place, unless you come in during non-busy hours. I was lucky and was able to snag a seat. If you ask, they offer plastic gloves so you can eat with her hands without getting messy. Found the chicken had similar consistency as Popeyes breading which was what I wanted. It came out very hot and fresh. I thought it tasted pretty good without the guilt. The flavor wasn't super memorable but I remember enjoying it. Would probably come again in the future if I'm around town. read more

Stopped by for a quick chicken snack and was very pleasantly surprised by the food and value. We tried the original fried chicken and it was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, with super generous portions. The side radish was also delicious. The lady working there was also incredibly kind and friendly, and we'll definitely be coming back to try other flavors as well! read more

Was a little skeptical bcuz ima wing guy and don't usually deviate from my normal but it was late... I was tired..... Was still dirty from work and just needed food! First time trying this location via Door Dash. Do not order from this place. My snow onion chicken order was nothing like what I've had at other CM Chicken locations. I've had it many many times. The chicken itself looked and tasted different. It had a lighter color and the texture was off. The onions were sliced very thick. The snow onion sauce was brown and very watered down. Tasted nothing like what I've been accustomed to. Either they are not a real CM Chicken or they are cutting corners and not following the CM Chicken franchise. Read the other reviews, there are others that have noticed a difference from what they were expecting. I wish I checked before ordering. read more

This was my first time trying this location and they did not disappoint. The woman at the cashier was so lovely and patient with us. She provided all the information needed and did not give off a bad attitude. The atmosphere was comfortably secluded, enhancing the overall experience. I ordered the spicy whole chicken and it was amazing. The portion was surprisingly large given the reasonable price. The food was hot and the chicken remained crispy for hours. The sizes were huge and the sauce was coated everywhere. If it wasn't so far I would go there every week. read more

I have had their wings, corn dogs, and fries. Their food is comparable to other Korean Wings places where they double fry the wings. I do like that they have different flavor options as compared to their competitors. I enjoy the Red Pepper Wings which is definitely spicy. Some times it seems like their Wings could be more crispy or crunchy, that might have to do with their to go packing and not letting them breath, but they come across average but the saving grace is their flavor options and those options being extended to the Chicken tenders. read more

I ordered the sweet potato fries and soy garlic drums and have to say I was extremely underwhelmed. I was really craving some crispy Korean chicken and what I received was soggy drums with a fishy taste. The guy who took my order was nice but other than that (customer service), I'll more than likely go to bonchon. read more

Wanted to like this place but unfortunately the garlic spicy did not taste like garlic spicy I've had at other CM Chicken locations. It had a strong onion or cinnamon taste for some reason. Maybe we got a bad batch of flavoring? Not sure but disappointed in the taste :( The old man greeting you at the door was a plus. read more

I am a believer. Chong Man Chicken is good and better than Bonchon and Chi Mc Chicken & Beer, in my little opinion. My husband was telling me this for awhile but I didn't believe him until I tried it for myself. The garlic soy drumsticks were spicy, sweet, savory, and simply delicious. The chicken meat was moist and the skin was still crispy and light, even with takeout. We also got a side of the snow sauce and I'm not too crazy over it. I think the chicken tastes best alone. The snow sauce would be delicious over rice, or used as a marinade for other meats. Darn good chicken. I am now a fan. read more

We came on a Sunday afternoon, it was not too busy. The woman working was lovely. I ordered the garlic spicy tenders and coleslaw. Both are large portions, tenders came out hot and coleslaw was wonderfully cold. The garlic flavor was delicious and the spice (to me) was on the lower level of medium. The downside is the tenders were not crispy, but the chicken itself was melt in your mouth delicious. I didn't care about the crispness after the meat and flavor being so good. The coleslaw was creamy and hit the spot. The hubs got the spicy garlic wings and said they were meh. We are also not Korean chicken aficionados, but I truly enjoyed what I ordered! read more

My ultimate favorite Korean fried chicken. Whenever I'm sick or starving, their regular fried chicken and onion sauce is all I can think of. I normally order the whole chicken because I know I can eat it over and over again. The magic is in the onion sauce, it's good even with other dishes. I like their customer service. The owner is nice. They have about 3-4 tables inside. Not for big groups unless you occupy the whole little dining area. I would come here to eat and watch kpop on their tv which is amazing. Thank you and keep up the good service and food quality. read more

This place is in the old El Fresco shop. Pickup process was good. Tried the garlic soy tikkuduk and basic fried chicken. Both are solid. Included mustard, ketchup, and small white cubes that I've yet to identify. Side note : are we the only ones that still like a ranch-type sauce? Bonchon stopped including ranch with the chicken a while back, and that was the best part. We were hoping for a ranch-ish dressing here. The coleslaw was a solid backup. The owner barked at a customer that the lunch special includes a can of coke, as he grabbed a bottle. Restaurant margins are slim. read more

My first and last visit. I bought the spicy garlic wings lunch special, and it was soo overwhelmingly sweet. It was very disappointing, it was not spicy and I did not taste even a hint of garlic. It was so soggy and drenched in a sauce, tasting like just straight up honey or liquid sugar syrup, no other flavor whatsoever. read more

I rarely leave reviews on Yelp only when it's super good or a place I'll never visit again. This is the first time ordering from this place - wings and drumsticks to go. I don't know how I hadn't heard of CM chicken till now, it's so much better than the other Korean fried chicken chain it's wild. I'm sure there's discrepancies between the various locations but so far out of maybe six or seven orders, I have no complaints. There's some flavors though that don't really make sense to me like curry but that's all subjective. If you like fried chicken and hot wings you will not be disappointed! read more

Called and ordered the buy one chicken, get one entree free special. When I arrived they asked me for a physical coupon, which I've never had to do for any CM I've been to. I was asked if I wanted to just buy the entree. Said no, just took my chicken and left. Home is less than ten minutes away. Chicken was soggy af. I tossed it in the air fryer for five minutes at 400 degrees. Still soggy. So their batter sucks. Just go to Centreville, this one ain't it. read more

Ordered the snow onion with tikkudak soy garlic and curly fries. The tikkudak chicken was burnt, they tried to replace the curly fries with waffle fries without even telling us, so we had to drive back to complain and fight just to get a refund. Ok top of the poor quality, they've raised their prices by 20-30% but the quality doesn't even remotely reflect the price. Used to love CMC but after this experience will opt for BBQ or BonChon instead, I'd advise you to do the same. read more

Who is this Choong Man guy and why am I just trying this place? The chicken was hot and amazing and bypassed Bon Chon by a landslide! Very overpriced! I already paid the total price including 10% of tip thru online. They force me to sign another bill When I pick it up including "extra tip". Of course I didn't give you extra tip! Awesome chicken wings. If you can handle spicy foods, get the garlic spicy chicken. Otherwise, get the garlic soy. Service is fast and food is great. I don't know why I've been so morbidly curious to try this location out, maybe it's because I come to chantilly a lot and because I'm confused by the mixed reviews. I had CM chicken once a couple years ago at the packed Fairfax location. I was planning to sit down in a dimly lit, half empty restaurant, but when I finally peeked in I saw there were only 2 tables so it was more of a takeout place. So I ordered the curry snow onion chicken tenders, the same thing I ordered a couple years ago. It took about 20 minutes and the service was friendly. I was worried about it getting soggy, based on reviews, so I ate in my car like a maniac. The chicken was super hot, fresh, and crispy. The sauces and onions were separate to maintain crispiness. The cardboard box the chicken was in also had a little window to allow it to vent/breathe. Not sure how effective it is long term. Anyway, everything was phenomenal!! Unfortunately it wasn't served on a platter, pre-assembled like at a sit down restaurant, but dipping it in the sauce and having it with the snow onions was so delicious. I haven't tried their other food, but I have a hard time picking something other than snow onion because it is so unique and I'm worried about having average chicken I can get elsewhere. All in all, this is a stellar takeout place if you enjoy snow onion chicken tenders and eat it immediately (but don't burn your mouth!) read more

I am not happy with the Chantilly location. I placed an order @ 8:10 and was told it will be ready by 8:40. I arrived @ 8:45 and they do not have my order. There is no customer. They said they did not get the order. I said "I paid for the order already, please check it again". Later they came back and said they missed the order. Finally, I received the order after 15 minutes waiting, and it was missing extra sauce and extra onion. I paid extra for these items. No apology, only got attitudes. Couple of years ago we had a great experience at this chain in Centreville, and staying in hotel near this location were looking forward to enjoy our take out food from here. Unfortunately our expectations didn't come true. We ordered the same dish we've enjoyed before (Snow Onion Chicken), but here for $17 we've received only 5 drums of chicken, 1/2lb of sliced raw onion and a container of white sauce with no taste at all, that I guess we (in stead of them) supposed to mix together. Is THAT what I am paying 17 bucks for???? Thank you, BUT NOOO, I am NOT doing it again. So it was unfortunately Hi and Bye experience for us. GOOOD LUCK with your business in the future! read more

I used to go to CM Chicken in Centreville. Their chicken was delicious when they first opened, but as time goes... their chicken got downgraded in quality and taste... so I stopped going. I waited so long for a great K-chicken place to open in the Chantilly area. One day I was driving by Lotte Chantilly and I found a CM Chicken flag on the building next to the new coffee shop. They were getting ready to grand open in a few days so I waited and waited... Finally, they opened their store! So, I ordered $50 value of soy garlic TikkuDak and they gave me a 10 piece Monster Cheese chicken wings for free. They were damn good!! especially the Monster Cheese!! Since the opening, I ordered several times already and it is the best K-chicken place yet. -Kang read more

I used to get the Garlic Spicy (These are supposed to have sweet & spicy flavor.) ones here about 3 times a week previously. Well, no more.
