If there is an issue with your order or food, they are very quick to respond with either crediting back your account or remaking your food to be sent out again. There are very several menu options and group ordering is super simple. My go-to's are either the make your own salad, carne asada tacos or the grilled cheese sandwich. The grilled cheese is actually very good but the tacos are definitely my favorite. The arroz con pollo is very good too, but definitely add extra chicken to it. The pizzas are very good too. The majority of my experiences with ClusterTruck have been due to actual Yelp events. Thus, I've never really had the opportunity to review this unique food experience. However, yesterday a meeting I was attending for work ended up using ClusterTruck for our lunch and I finally got the kind of experience that makes me feel like I can give an honest interview. We were notified by the meeting organizer that we would be using ClusterTruck. We were provided a special link for a group. This link allowed each individual to order and pay on their own. This is a pretty fantastic option that saves a lot of chaos for group orders when it's never quite clear who's going to pay what. Everything is done up front and all you have to worry about is actually selecting the food you want and making sure someone is present to pick it up. I like how their Facebook page describes it - "Food truck attitude meets world-changing technology." That really is it. The options for food are pretty fantastic from burgers (including those from local fave The Mug) to pizza to Asian to salads to all kinds of desserts, sides, etc. I think probably the only thing I don't care for is that it seemed like all the drink options are bottled and I didn't see an unsweetened iced tea option (I ended up ordering a bottle of sweet tea). I ordered a burger from The Mug - it was a special order and it was delivered exactly as I had ordered it. I also ordered a side of roasted red potatoes, a particular obsession of mine that I was thrilled they offered. They ended up being the definite highly here as I thought the burger was just a notch below in terms of quality and a notch above in terms of pricing. Once everybody had submitted their orders, we submitted our orders and got our food in about an hour. Our group was probably about 12-15 people. I do know that one order didn't arrive (I'm unsure if this was corrected, but I will note I saw the person eating later. I just don't know if it was ClusterTruck or if she'd ended up heading down to our cafeteria). I heard no other concerns about orders or order accuracy and mine was fully correct. ClusterTruck is different from third party apps. They do their own cooking and use their own couriers. Thus, they are not a "middleman." In essence, they're a delivery only kitchen (and call themselves America's first). This was a good experience and I would easily use it again. I'm not willing to quite go a 5-star due to one inaccuracy, a burger that was more warm than hot (and a little disheveled in packaging), and pricing that can run a bit steep (I paid just over $20 for a burger, roasted red potatoes, and bottle of Pure Leaf Sweet Tea). I also was disappointed at the lack of an unsweet tea option. However, there's no way I can go less than 4-stars. The convenience is amazing, the food quality was still very good (I'm super impressed they pulled off quality roasted red potatoes), and it's a dynamic option for group meetings with easy to use technology. This is a definite winner. They also have a "Cluster Points" option that can build up to rewards. As a person who is single and typically dines alone, I'm not sure I'll ever be a ClusterTruck regular, but I sure look forward to the next group meeting where I get a chance to dig deeper into their menu. read more

I ordered their BBQ chicken pizza for delivery which came very quickly and was visually very well prepared. Truthfully the pizza looked a bit better than it tasted as the chicken was a bit dry and bland and the crust was not crispy whatsoever. A friend suggested i try them one day when i expressed i was tired of eating from the same restaurants downtown. Feeling adventurous, i decided to try the Mahi Mahi sandwich and side winder fries. I've ordered many times from Clustertruck and I've never had a bad experience. Their biggest weakness is the length of their delivery times which can sometimes reach an hour for a single meal around lunch and dinner rushes. My favorite thing about Clustertruck is their group order feature which allows you to send invites to your group. This allows everyone to order from their own devices rather than passing around one phone or computer. I usually order something that I haven't tried before and am either met with an okay meal or better. Some standouts for me are their hot chicken sandwich, all of their pizzas, their salads, and vegetarian options. The hot chicken sandwich is pretty messy but the flavor is great. I can't say that I've tasted anything from Clustertruck that tastes so awful that I can't finish it. I think too many people view this place as a premier eatery whereas I have always thought of it as one (maybe one and a half) steps above fast food so my expectations are fairly low. Love using ClusterTruck for work events when you are ordering lunch/dinner for a diverse group of dietary needs! There are vegan, vegetarian, and GF options (and options for picky eaters like Grilled Cheese and Chicken tenders). For me, it takes the guess work out of trying to figure out where we should get catering from that is going to please the crowd. Cluster truck is also very reliable and has never let me down on a delivery. It is amazing what those delivery drivers carry on their bikes--it astounds me (they have very powerful thighs/calves). I've heard and seen many great pictures of food that comes out of the ClusterTruck kitchen downtown. So, I finally tried it a couple of weeks ago. I downloaded the app and you can pick the day and time you want your food to be delivered. You tell them the closest place from where you are and they will send you a text when they're close. Then you just walk out to the car they tell you in the text and they hand it to you through their window. The bags are stapled shut so no one can open it once it leaves ClusterTruck. I've had the breakfast burrito, the tacos, and the arroz con pollo. All were great. My favorite would be the tacos. They come warm and wrapped in foil and in a nice container. So many options to choose from! I got a chicken Caesar wrap (delicious! 5/5) and a side of mac and cheese (pretty bland, 3/5). I ordered a Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza and it arrived barely golden brown. The dough was NOT cooked all the way. I submitted a complaint to them about the problem. They offered a $5.00 credit on a $15.40 pizza and that they would notify kitchen of the issue. This was the WORSE service I every had with them. The taco salad used to be great. I ordered mine without the things that contain cilantro, or at least the things that used to contain cilantro. But to my surprise, not only were the black beans smothered in it, that's what the ground beef seems to be seasoned with as well. Not everyone likes cilantro. Please stop. I've ordered ClusterTruck from downtown on several occasions. Their "thing" is that they can make anything from Pad Thai to Burgers with a set number of ingredients. Their menu has a little bit of everything on it and everyone should be able to find something they like. They have an incredibly easy online menu and delivery system. You can customize your meal by adding or removing ingredients. You have the option to add protein as well if you'd like. It's also very easy to do a group order and have everyone pay separately. I find their food to be above average, but not necessarily phenomenal. Some of the items I don't feel like I get enough food or the quality of food for the price. Other items, taste good, but nothing over the top. The one item that is incredibly unique and has become my new "go-to" is their spiced chickpea bowl.
