If there is an issue with your order or food, they are very quick to respond with either crediting back your account or remaking your food to be sent out again. There are very several menu options and group ordering is super simple. My go-to's are either the make your own salad, carne asada tacos or the grilled cheese sandwich. The grilled cheese is actually very good but the tacos are definitely my favorite. The arroz con pollo is very good too, but definitely add extra chicken to it. The pizzas are very good too. The quesadillas and burritos do need an extra kick of something because those are always missing something. Pad Thai was delicious and I would get again, beef tacos were simple and exactly what you would expect which I appreciated, tater tots shows up still crispy, and the cookie dough ice cream might be the best I've ever had!! The dry rub tenders were good but I was hoping for a bit more flavor from the rub and the potatoes salad was a style I've never had before and just wasn't for me. The majority of my experiences with ClusterTruck have been due to actual Yelp events. Thus, I've never really had the opportunity to review this unique food experience. However, yesterday a meeting I was attending for work ended up using ClusterTruck for our lunch and I finally got the kind of experience that makes me feel like I can give an honest interview. We were notified by the meeting organizer that we would be using ClusterTruck. We were provided a special link for a group. This link allowed each individual to order and pay on their own. This is a pretty fantastic option that saves a lot of chaos for group orders when it's never quite clear who's going to pay what. Everything is done up front and all you have to worry about is actually selecting the food you want and making sure someone is present to pick it up. I like how their Facebook page describes it - "Food truck attitude meets world-changing technology." That really is it. The options for food are pretty fantastic from burgers (including those from local fave The Mug) to pizza to Asian to salads to all kinds of desserts, sides, etc. I think probably the only thing I don't care for is that it seemed like all the drink options are bottled and I didn't see an unsweetened iced tea option (I ended up ordering a bottle of sweet tea). I ordered a burger from The Mug - it was a special order and it was delivered exactly as I had ordered it. I also ordered a side of roasted red potatoes, a particular obsession of mine that I was thrilled they offered. They ended up being the definite highly here as I thought the burger was just a notch below in terms of quality and a notch above in terms of pricing. Once everybody had submitted their orders, we submitted our orders and got our food in about an hour. Our group was probably about 12-15 people. I do know that one order didn't arrive (I'm unsure if this was corrected, but I will note I saw the person eating later. I just don't know if it was ClusterTruck or if she'd ended up heading down to our cafeteria). I heard no other concerns about orders or order accuracy and mine was fully correct. ClusterTruck is different from third party apps. They do their own cooking and use their own couriers. Thus, they are not a "middleman." In essence, they're a delivery only kitchen (and call themselves America's first). This was a good experience and I would easily use it again. I'm not willing to quite go a 5-star due to one inaccuracy, a burger that was more warm than hot (and a little disheveled in packaging), and pricing that can run a bit steep (I paid just over $20 for a burger, roasted red potatoes, and bottle of Pure Leaf Sweet Tea). I also was disappointed at the lack of an unsweet tea option. However, there's no way I can go less than 4-stars. The convenience is amazing, the food quality was still very good (I'm super impressed they pulled off quality roasted red potatoes), and it's a dynamic option for group meetings with easy to use technology. This is a definite winner. They also have a "Cluster Points" option that can build up to rewards. As a person who is single and typically dines alone, I'm not sure I'll ever be a ClusterTruck regular, but I sure look forward to the next group meeting where I get a chance to dig deeper into their menu. read more

A friend suggested i try them one day when i expressed i was tired of eating from the same restaurants downtown. Feeling adventurous, i decided to try the Mahi Mahi sandwich and side winder fries. The flavors of the fish and aioli sauce went together well, and the coated fries were also seasoned well without being too salty. I have also had the chicken sandwich... twice and it was obviously very good. The food arrives quickly enough that things are still warm/fresh. My fries were a little cool once but they were still good. I also appreciate how they secure the bag so well that i had a little struggle to open it myself lol. I used to love this service - drivers are great, good food variety, really good option for when you are ordering for a group with varied tastes. So why the change in feeling? This is the only place where I've ever ordered an item, not received the item, then been credited back less than the charge for the item. So not only did I not receive what I ordered, it cost me to not receive the item (lol not lol). I've ordered many times from Clustertruck and I've never had a bad experience. Their biggest weakness is the length of their delivery times which can sometimes reach an hour for a single meal around lunch and dinner rushes. My favorite thing about Clustertruck is their group order feature which allows you to send invites to your group. This allows everyone to order from their own devices rather than passing around one phone or computer. I usually order something that I haven't tried before and am either met with an okay meal or better. Some standouts for me are their hot chicken sandwich, all of their pizzas, their salads, and vegetarian options. The hot chicken sandwich is pretty messy but the flavor is great. I can't say that I've tasted anything from Clustertruck that tastes so awful that I can't finish it. I think too many people view this place as a premier eatery whereas I have always thought of it as one (maybe one and a half) steps above fast food so my expectations are fairly low. I ordered their BBQ chicken pizza for delivery which came very quickly and was visually very well prepared. Truthfully the pizza looked a bit better than it tasted as the chicken was a bit dry and bland and the crust was not crispy whatsoever. Cluster truck is also very reliable and has never let me down on a delivery. It is amazing what those delivery drivers carry on their bikes--it astounds me (they have very powerful thighs/calves). I've heard and seen many great pictures of food that comes out of the ClusterTruck kitchen downtown. So, I finally tried it a couple of weeks ago. I downloaded the app and you can pick the day and time you want your food to be delivered. You tell them the closest place from where you are and they will send you a text when they're close. Then you just walk out to the car they tell you in the text and they hand it to you through their window. The bags are stapled shut so no one can open it once it leaves ClusterTruck. I've had the breakfast burrito, the tacos, and the arroz con pollo. All were great. My favorite would be the tacos. They come warm and wrapped in foil and in a nice container. They have drinks, sides, desserts also on the menu. If you work downtown or live downtown check them out. It is great food!!! read more

So many options to choose from! I got a chicken Caesar wrap (delicious! 5/5) and a side of mac and cheese (pretty bland, 3/5). The pasta and the chicken in the wrap were both still hot when they got to me and the breading on the chicken was still crispy, so I could tell they delivered quickly. Also, the dressing on the wrap was awesome- definitely didn't taste like it came from a bottle. You know it's good when you take a bite and audibly enjoy the flavor party in your mouth! The guac tasted fresh and had really great flavor - no spicy, but definitely tasty. I've been quite the loyal cluster customer until today. It seems like it's gone downhill. I ordered dinner tonight and followed along the tracker. 45 minutes in, the tracker jumps from cooking to delivered, skipping en route. I received zero texts or app updates indicating anything had been delivered. And when I reached out, I was offered for my food to be re-made and re-delivered. Perhaps figure out where the original meal is? Because I don't think it even left the store. After declining, they said I'd be refunded in up to 4 days. 4 days to get my money back for food that never left their kitchen. On the flip side, I've had food taken back to the store because I wasn't outside within .2 seconds, even though the driver showed up 5 minutes prior to the communicated ETA. OK, so I'm super late to the ClusterTruck fan club, but better late than never right? I finally got to order from them last week, and really enjoyed the orange chicken and fried rice. It arrived on time, hot and the chicken was still crispy. The seasoning was great and the extra orange sauce on the side went really well with the fried rice.The portion was very generous and likely could have been two meals, but it ended up being one hearty lunch. I've ordered ClusterTruck from downtown on several occasions. Their "thing" is that they can make anything from Pad Thai to Burgers with a set number of ingredients. Their menu has a little bit of everything on it and everyone should be able to find something they like. They have an incredibly easy online menu and delivery system. You can customize your meal by adding or removing ingredients. You have the option to add protein as well if you'd like. It's also very easy to do a group order and have everyone pay separately. I find their food to be above average, but not necessarily phenomenal. Some of the items I don't feel like I get enough food or the quality of food for the price. Other items, taste good, but nothing over the top. The one item that is incredibly unique and has become my new "go-to" is their spiced chickpea bowl. It comes with chickpeas, sweet potatoes, avocado, farro, and baby greens with a tahini dressing. It's a mix between a bowl and a salad. I will forever get this with chicken moving forward. read more

I was told about this place from many coworkers, and was pleasantly surprised by how many different cultures of food were represented on their menu. I tried the chicken tikka masala because I heard their Indian food was really good, and I was really happy with it. I wish there was a way to order with increased spice levels.
