I've been coming to CP Reston for 3 years now and it's proven to be the BEST decision of my life! I take 8 classes a week - I'd take more if I didn't have to work full time! :) The instructors are fantastic, extremely knowledgeable about the body structure, great at giving cues for our form, and very helpful if anyone needs modifications while nursing an injury. I can't say enough great things about pilates, the CP Reston studio & the instructors individually. I must give a big shout out to my "abfab" favs: Desiree, Stephanie, Kazia, Emilie and Kim...my regular class instructors who are awesome! I've also had great substitute instructors or taken odd classes outside my usual schedule and have enjoyed everyone I've encountered. The front desk staff are always welcoming and get my "me time" started off on the right foot. I've made some lovely friendships with regular class-goers too! I've been a member for over two years. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The club is always clean and has a lot of wonderful instructors (Desiree is my #1 fave). I have been taking classes 4-6 days a week at Reston Club Pilates since October 2022. I absolutely recommend this studio!! From the instructors to available classes to class types to the equipment - it's a stellar workout experience and community. The membership types depend on how many classes you plan to take each month. I have the unlimited membership, which also includes the ability to take classes at other local CP studios. (I like CP Tyson's too!) The membership app is really user friendly. You can manage your class bookings, cancellations, and receive reminders before each class. 5 stars!! Great instructors. Very professional, aware of each participants capabilities and offer options to those who are ready for more of a challenge. Instructions are clear, guided with personal assistance and always with a supportive and encouraging approach. Very clean, well maintained and equipment is replaced immediately when needed. I've been going to Club Pilates Reston for a few years now and I LOVE this studio. The instructors are amazing and listen to your needs and work with you on whatever fitness goal you are working towards. The GM Sophie is an absolute gem and knows all the members by names and was amazing to work with as I recently dealt with some back issues and needed accommodations. I try to go at least 5 times a week and even if I'm not in the mood to work out, the warm welcome I always receive is the motivation I need and I always leave feeling so much better. I originally loved Club Pilates and genuinely enjoyed being a member. That said, my experience has ended on an incredibly frustrating and disappointing note. I was laid off unexpectedly at the end of September and have been actively searching for a new job ever since. Right now, I am struggling to cover basic necessities like rent and bills -- a Pilates membership is simply not possible. The cancellation process is outrageously convoluted and unnecessarily difficult. It feels intentionally designed to trap people into continuing to pay, regardless of their circumstances. I even offered to provide proof that I had been laid off, and it made absolutely no difference because of their rigid "policy." That lack of empathy or flexibility is unacceptable and comes across as a predatory business model. This experience has completely soured what was once something I really enjoyed. It's incredibly frustrating to be treated like this during a genuinely hard financial period. To be clear, the instructors are not the problem. Amber and Samantha are phenomenal -- supportive, knowledgeable, and truly great at what they do. I miss their classes and they deserve credit despite how poorly the business side is run. I never expected my time here to end this way, but the membership policies and cancellation process have left a lasting negative impression and whenever I get a new job I will not be returning. read more

I have been a member for roughly 4 years. I really enjoy the variety of classes and each instructor adds their special touch so there is very little repetition. I have the 4 classes a month membership that works well fitting into my Pickleball schedule. I believe that Pilates has enhanced my game. I am more flexible and not prone to injuries. This particular studio shines in comparison to its other nearby "sister studios". The reason is simply because the front-end mgr, Sophie, is genuinely warm and friendly. Going there and greeting Sophie is always pleasant. I did not find this with previous front-end mgrs (been a member for a while) nor do I find the other nearby studios to be as welcoming or interested in their clientele as Sophie is. As far as instructors go, I am pleased with those that meet my specific needs. It takes a while to figure that out, and thankfully there are many diverse options--someone for everyone! read more

I signed up for a free introductory Pilates class at this location this past Sunday afternoon and from start to finish it was amazing! I was welcomed the minute I walked through the door and the details of what I should expect from the class and questions regarding my experience and any health issues they should know about were covered (I unfortunately forgot the woman's name at the desk but she was awesome). Troi was our instructor and she took her time with the group explaining the reformer and how to do each of the movements. Troi was extremely patient and thorough and truly gave us a great 30 minute full body workout during the class. I highly recommend giving them a shot if you're curious about Pilates! read more

Pilates was the perfect transition into a safe, manageable, yet challenging, workout routine after my surgeries. It has continued to provide me with challenging, diverse workouts every single day. The calm atmosphere and enthusiastic instructors help me to detach from the daily stress of life, while getting in a great workout. My core feels SO much stronger and my hips feel more stable, strong, and supported, which I know will help me prevent re-injury. Been "subscribed" here for about a year or so now I think? And to address some of the below posts about how most classes are full, they typically are if you are looking to book the week of, however if you book for classes 2-3 weeks out this issue drastically decreases because if you are 1-3 on the waitlist typically you will get in. Last year I noticed that even if I was 5/6 on a waitlist for a class in 2 days I would still sometimes get in because ppl drop last min all the time however with the new year resolution peeps comin in same week is not typically feasible for the popular time slots, but this just means.... get unlimited and book further out :) Honestly there's a reason this place is so packed, the quality of instructors is unbeatable. It may be a bit hard to just dive nose deep in and get the unlimited package so you can do bookings weeks ahead and I personally didn't think I would stick with it but, here I am a year later. Give it a shot it's worth it :3 read more

I received advertisements from this club on social media. And, I thought to check it out, couldn't even get in for the 1/2 hour (free) class. I don't know about you, but if I am paying for a service such as this - I would expect that going to a class be the least of my problems, not the beginning. I'm sorry that your staff isn't remembering what they did to the costumer. It was not just that the case also the receptionist offer me the flyer (as a regular sales woman does) but once I told her I was only interested in a few classes she took the flyer from my hand and said: "we only do membership for over 3 months period (which I also understood) but the way she did it was not correct and also she didn't offer anything for me, there is a HUGE OPPORTUNITY for them to grown. Did you come to Yelp because you're thinking of trying Pilates but you're on the fence? I know what you're thinking and, I promise you, the reformer isn't a torture device. While it may look intimidating, it is actually kinda fun and who has fun when they're working out? (Hard fun sometimes, but fun.) If that convinced you to give Pilates a chance, this is the place to do it. I've been a member since they first opened and while I have tried a few different studios in the area and this one just fits. It's the combination of great instructors, helpful staff, and the other friendly classmates that drives me to make it to class multiple times a week. I actually look forward to going to class. Me. Who hates physical activity. (I'm not exaggerating. I really hate it.) I'm thankful I found this place. My lower back pain has diminished considerably and I feel a lot stronger. i love attending classes at Club Pilates Reston. I joined when it first opened exercised during the pandemic when it reopened and I'm still going strong. This review comes for someone beyond middle age. It's difficult to express how much club pilates has done for the quality of my life and heath. As we age it's quite shocking how much strength we lose. I also have RA so have to be careful about pounding my joints. Pilates classes are the ticket to keeping the quality of your life over time. You make friends in the classes, the instructors are open, caring, give you alternatives and always tell you to listen to your body. Do it for yourself! read more

I have been trying to get into Pilates for years but found that most studios could not accommodate classes outside of standard business hours. Finding club Pilates Reston has been life changing. I'm 25 classes in and have seen a huge difference in my core strength, balance, and mental health. I've also managed to drag my brother and boyfriend to classes as well and they loved the active recovery. If your brand new I recommend taking the intro with Becky. If you find you're interested in continuing then definitely book a couple of private sessions to help you get acclimated to the classes. It really goes a long way in helping you make the classes for you. I'm so grateful to Amber, Becky, and Ellie for making the start of my Pilates journey so awesome! read more

I have been coming to Club Pilates in Reston for over a year (after Orange Theory proved too much for my scoliosis, old rotator cuff injury, and gimpy knee!). I love the control & support of the reformers, and the way the awesome instructors guide you on how to modify exercises if you need to. I always leave feeling worn out but stronger...and my fiancé comments on my increasingly buff body and limberness! Good luck ever getting into a class. I have a relatively flexible schedule and still can't get into classes. I used to have the 4 classes/month package and because I wouldn't get off the waitlist on classes I was wasting so much money each month so I moved to just purchase single classes at a time. You can only book so far out unless you have 8 classes/month or unlimited. Level 1 classes are very basic and easy, level 1.5's vary a lot based on the instructor but still relatively easy (but there are only a few 1.5's taught per week) and you need instructor approval to move up to level 2 classes. I tried to do so and the instructor told me that she wouldn't approve me because I hadn't taken enough classes with her and my reasoning for wanting to take level 2's was not good enough, basically she said that if I wanted "to go on a full pilates journey" and be an instructor that would be reason for her to approve me. She also asked what class package I had and when I told her it was just single classes she very much seemed like that was reason not to approve me as well. Honestly really frustrating - I've been to enough classes to know the terminology and be able to do the moves and I know my own strength and abilities so I know when I might need to modify or not. It basically seems like one of those places where they want you ALL IN on them and you have to buddy up to all the instructors and be the chattiest, loudest one in the room to be able to take more classes and at higher levels than just 1.5. Not a place to go if you just want to go in, get your workout in, not overly socialize and leave. read more

My friend Mercy and I took the 30 minutes trial workout last October 26, 2020, I liked the studio they wiped and sanitized everything, the strength worked out it was strong resistance. Erika was a saleswoman she talked to us everything never talks to me about the membership contract. I said I want to try the once a week to see if I liked it and I convince my friend to sign up with me. Because of our worked schedule, we did not start right away until the second week later, unbeknownst to me that even I told them that I can't come because of my work they said is okay but, the chance for that day was expired I sign up verbally and prepaid for four weeks. Erika said that we can call and cancel anytime. Out of the 4 sessions I aid for I used only two because Erika claimed it has expired. Then she took another one-month fee when I disputed she emailed me a contact that she said I signed and agreed to but, it was signed by her electronically she lied. During the classes, we were the ones who sanitized our own equipment that we touch. I do not recommend this place to anyone f you do want to try out make sure everything is printed out do not trust her words. read more

I attended a trial class and really enjoyed it. I like having an instructor lead my workouts. Using the reformer feels amazing! I love the classes that also focus on strength by incorporating TRX. Pilates is great to improve mobility and reduce stress. My favorite instructor is Julie! She is very helpful and her work outs are great. You will definitely feel your muscles working and leave the class feeling accomplished. BONUS: Club Pilates offers a discount for first responders! read more
