Finally found the perfect cross training program to strengthen my core, improve my balance and lengthen muscles to prevent injuries and improve my fitness. I've tried the "blue light" competitor studios around the Reston/Ashburn area, I've tried the boot camp classes and cross fit.. but I felt that none gave me the options to tailor my training based on how I felt physically that day or week and none gave me the ability to control my own pace to achieve my personal fitness goals and stay motivated. In May 2019.. I found Club Pilates Sterling and I have been addicted ever since! The variety and skill levels of classes available are amazing. If you are a runner or any type of athlete - you NEED to add this to your training! If you're coming back from an injury or just getting started on a fitness program- this is definitely the right place! If you're looking for cardio or interval training - it's fantastic here too! And of all the places I have tried - nothing beats the expertise, genuine interest and support that these instructors provide. As an additional note - when COVID hit... the studio was proactive to reach out and find out what members wanted and the instructors quickly rolled out virtual classes which not only helped me keep off the COVID "15" but saved my emotional sanity as well. As of the date of this review (June 23) - the studio is back open!! with multiple layers of procedures and protections in place to protect everyone. And the class size is only 12 people. I tried my first "in studio" class post isolation last night and felt very comfortable and have already booked my next classes tomorrow and this weekend! I still plan to continue virtual classes on the days that I work from home. Again.. the key takeaway with this studio is you have options! Find what works for your body and soon you'll be addicted too. read more

Steven, The classes I was praising about 3 days ago were Hemin's classes, not Sarah. The main reason why I'm writing a review today is because I was not able to return a legging that was on sale. I started Club Pilates in September as part of my self-care/wellness journey. I purchased the basic 4 classes per month membership package. I have zero regrets, except that I wish I could attend more than once a week!!! I get the best strength training and a great stretch all at one time. The Potomac Falls location has a pretty good selection of instructors and classes from early morning to evening. I haven't had any issues scheduling classes. I attend the Thursday morning level 1 reformer flow class with Nikole. I actually look forward to attending the session and leave there feeling accomplished and believe it or not relaxed!!! read more

The class I took had a teacher who was belittling students. It was not comfortable to be there.The studio is very dark and the beds are lined up in one line so, difficult to follow. CP in Herdon has the beds set up in 2 rows so easier to follow. Same with RTR in Great Falls. read more

I love the instructors, they are great. My only caution is that when you join up, the management is not clear about their cancellation policy for when you are waitlisted. I asked twice and got two different answers so I messed up twice. If you explain you misunderstood, there's no "ok we can let one pass." It's not the end of the world by any means, I'm just recommending you ask for their policy in writing, or else like me and several other members I've met, you'll end up spending unnecessary $ in penalties the first month you join. read more

The front desk support team are exceptional! They made me feel welcomed and valued! The 2 classes I took, flow 1.5 and control were very gentle and low impact . Geared toward newcomers and individuals with limitations. I wanted to give a shout out to the two young girls at the front desk! So disappointed and heartbroken that my favorite Pilates instructor Clarissa was let go by the owner. Clarissa is one of kind person who touches your life - she's motivating, fun, and gives you the absolutely best workout. Very poor management decision! read more

I'm just completing my second month at Club Pilates. I hadn't done Pilates on a reformer prior to coming to Club Pilates. I now understand when people say Pilates can be addictive. I truly look forward to going to the classes. All of the instructors are amazing and different. I've already changed my membership to "unlimited". The app is very user friendly to schedule classes. Make sure you ask about which classes are suitable for you before using the app. They are more than willing to answer any questions you have and are so timely in responding. read more

I would give this studio 0 stars if i could - do yourself a favor and go to a different studio! I signed up for their (very expensive) membership, and after a couple months - due to being close to 8 months pregnant and having some safety/medical concerns- asked to cancel my membership until i'm able to work out properly again - i did not ask for a refund or discount or anything, simply to cancel my membership before it renews. The first couple correspondences they were just very vague in how to cancel and cancellation fees, etc. When I asked for clarity and if they could break down the fees, they stopped responding. It's now been 5+ days, i've sent at least 4-5 follow up emails, called them, messaged them through their website, AND through instagram messenger but they are completely ignoring me - and my membership will renew in a few days, which I've flagged to them I want to get ahead of (and why I started this conversation over a week ago). Moral of the story is - seems like they're just out to get our money, and not really here to support mindfulness or wellness like they promote. The reason I can no longer work out is because I am pregnant and have been advised against it due to medical concerns - it seems like a pretty legitimate reason to me, but what do i know?! Instead of being supportive and understanding, they are choosing to ignore me, and continue taking my money. To note: this is not a reflection on the instructors, this is a reflection on the studio itself and management. The instructors have been great, particularly the ones that are trained in pre-natal pilates, were fantastic and super supportive. However, given the treatment from management and this studio overall I would not return or recommend them to anyone. read more

Club Pilates Potomac Falls was just what I needed! Four years ago I committed to a membership and boy am I glad I did. I went from daily aches and pains to feeling much, much better, and in control of my body. I love the instructors, the variety of different types of classes, and the Pilates friends I've made. It's a quick 50-minute hit of socializing while stretching and strengthening. My body has changed to fit my clothes much better. I've also had great experiences at other studios across the US as I've traveled for work. This studio is warm and inviting, the instructors are full of personality and help nurture you towards your goals. I have been attending classes since 3/23 and I have to say that it has been the best and most easily maintained workout of my life. I have new strength, balance, and a sense of accomplishment. I came to Club Pilates- Potomac Falls to recover from tennis & skiing injuries. I have come to absolutely love pilates! I was completely new to it and found pilates to be pretty addictive-- strengthening and relaxing at the same time. Being away from this studio during COVID has been rough and I'm looking forward to getting back, as I've noticed a huge difference in my strength & flexibility without regular classes. My whole body, especially my feet (which sounds odd) felt so much better when I was attending regularly. I always saw the ads for Club Pilates, but finally got the nerve to attend an intro session on my own and fell in love. As a former athlete who is now middle-aged plus, I find this to be challenging enough without added stress to my joints. The trainers are down to earth and really care about each individual who attends their classes, making suggestions to ensure everyone is getting the most of each workout for their fitness level. Even with COVID, I feel comfortable with all the precautions they are taking. Only down side would be limited classes that cater to working individuals, but during COVID, I'm not going to complain! read more

Club Pilates does an amazing job of taking a new, "never ever" and turning them into a competent Pilates participant. The instructors do an wonderful job of offering modifications and progressions to meet each member where they are. I was scheduled for hip surgery this summer and after six months of classes I felt strong enough to move forward without surgery. Highly recommend. read more

I am so happy here! I went kicking and screaming with my friend - I am not great at working out :-). I'm still here 1.5 years later. Most amazing Pilates instructors that take the time to know each student and their physical issues and needs. I LOVE Brandi, Amber, and new instructor, Bri. The unlimited membership is the way to go for sure; you can use the membership all over the world. I began at club Pilates one year ago after a complete rupture of my Achilles' tendon. After 6 months, I had fully regained my strength and stability of my injured leg and felt incredibly liberated by my new found physical abilities. These guys are a total blessing. I really enjoy the classes at Club Pilates. And, with the app, I can easily sign up for classes either in advance or on the same day that I want to work out. I like that the instructors play music during class (but at a lower volume) and that there are a variety of classes (Pilates/barre combo, reformer, cardio with the jump boards, etc). I've never been great about consistently going to the gym....until now. I tried out a free reformer flow intro class about a year and a half ago at Club Pilates Potomac Falls and I was hooked. Yes, it's a bit pricy-- But considering you get practically a private session with a master trainer (12 people in a class max) it's been so worthwhile. You go at your own pace - modify moves if needed- and it's so rewarding to see how your strength and flexibility has improved over time when a move that was once difficult becomes so much easier. It's a welcoming environment with master trainers like Brandi and Bri who play fun music and expertly cue you through each move. Each class has familiar moves to keep you confident and new moves to keep things interesting. I seriously wish I could afford the unlimited classes package so I could go more often! I've brought a friend in as a "drop in" who takes yoga regularly. She loves her yoga but says she feels so great after Pilates. If she lived in town she'd sign up as a regular member, too. You dedicate a little less than one hour for class and walk out feeling stretched and strong. The app makes it easy to book classes. read more
