This was my first visit and took my two frenchies for a self-dog wash. Parking was plenty and location not hard to find, used Yelp directions. Used their self dog wash service. Amy was super helpful. I called ahead of time to see if we needed to book. It was first come first serve, which worked out well to avoid busy Saturdays. Place is closed Wednesdays and Sundays. Prices were super reasonable: it included shampoo, brush, ear cleaning supplies,and towels. They had dryers but my dogs don't like dryers (vacuum cleaners). For additional cost, they do offer nail trimming service but my dogs didn't need them at this time. Amy was super helpful all around. There was a waterproof apron so I won't get soaked. Took me 15-20 min to wash, rinse and towel dry each dog. The place had lots of dog baked goods that looked good, will get some next time. They had several hound dogs chilling, they looked super content and in a way, they created a calming effect for my two crazies. We plan to return in a couple of months! The owner Candy is EXTREMELY rude. UPDATE - Both my dogs butts are bleeding and red after the services here!! They've gotten their glands expressed before and this has NEVER happened. PET OWNERS BEWARE. my dogs are in pain! We came two times before and they took extremely long for one 6lb yorkie. Refused to give estimate. This is the third and last time we bring our SMALL dogs. When booking we asked if they could be done quick as we have prior commitments to which the lady on the phone responded yes they'd be done by noon. When i called for an update at noon, they said another hour. I asked for an estimate and mentioned the prior convo to Candy and she was immediately rude and demeaning. i told her i'd be there asap for them because another hour was unacceptable. When i went to pick up my dogs, the services were done (within 10 min of that call), they were done. why would they have the dogs there waiting in the small kennels for no reason without food & water? Also they up charge and their current website prices aren't updated. She said it starts at 38 for really small dogs... ok, why not put how much more it is per lb range on the site? And as if my dogs are huge- not at all! both under 10 lbs. The owner is absolutely horrendous- a KAREN. When i mentioned how rude she was and that she should learn how to be professional she continued her snarkiness about how she's been in business for over 19 years. shocking- with that attitude! Our 15 yr old mini schnauzer has been groomed monthly by Club Mutt most of her life! They have always done a great job with grooming her and our dog loves going there. She is greeted by the groomers and the owner with much love and great care is always given during her grooming experiences there! I will never take her anywhere else. The owner Candy and all the groomers show compassion and love to the pets in their care. They usually have my dog done in under 3 hours.. and sometimes only an hour or so and they are done. Candy the owner is wonderful and truly cares about all her clients and our pups. Charlie always looks great and smells wonderful after a visit at Club Mutt. We tried coming here last week for their self serve dog wash. Hours of operation says they close at 4 pm. We got there at 3:10 only to be told that they close their dog wash at 3pm. Would have been nice if this was mentioned on their website but okay fine no worries. The lady who declined us said they will be closed on Wednesday but will be back open on Thursday. We tried to come here early around 2ish on Thursday only to find THEY WERE CLOSED. There was literally a homeless woman in front of the store who said "they've been closed all day but you can try opening the door" And yupp... CLOSED. Why say youll be opening when you clearly arent. Club Mutt is not the closest groomers to me seeing how I live 20 miles from the shop, but I can assure you that they are always my first option when it comes to grooming. Whether I need to make an appointment to drop off all three of my dogs or I come in for the self-wash everything is freshly stocked, sanitary, and neatly folded. Most of time I dread making any type of appointment for the dogs during the holidays because I know how hectic it can be especially with three dogs but these last few holidays our groomer, I believe her name is Lauren always does a great job and has my babies ready to go when I walk through the door. She is definitely the groomer to ask for if you have a dog whose haircut requires dexterity and precision. Lastly, I cannot remember the ladies name who owns the place and i have only seen/ spoke to her once or twice, but she is the sweetest woman you will ever meet!!! If I had to give a zero I would but obviously it won't let me so I guess 1 star would be it! I took my dog to get groomed this morning and when it was time for me to pick him up I noticed a horrible most painful thing on my dog! As you can see on the picture! His nails were also clipped and who ever did this job on my dog cut the quick and has dry blood in every nail you can possibly see! It hurts me to see that my dog is feeling pain and won't stop licking in that those areas! I understand it can get a bit irritated after a shaved but not like that!!!! What the hell is that? Let's just say, we found our groomer for life! 3 days ago, I rescued an 11 year old 80 lb German Shepherd who was in dire need of some TLC. She has a severe infection in both ears and severe arthritis in her hips. She was matted and had basically been left outside for 2+ years. She spent all day Friday at the vet and over the weekend I tried to bathe her twice with little progress made. This morning (Monday) I called 10-15 groomers that either had a 2 week+ wait or wouldn't do big dogs. Finally when I got Club Mutt on the phone, they told me they only had time for a bath, not enough time to shave her. I suspected she needed this because of how bad her hair was. I totally understood and asked her if she at least could refer me to anyone who could help because I really needed Jade to feel more comfortable and I had a suspicion that the matting was making it harder for her to walk due to her arthritis. The woman on the phone (I really wish I had gotten her name!) said "You know what, I can squeeze her in... I can tell she needs it". She told me to come right then and when we got there, she was SO sweet! I explained that Jade's ears were sensitive and she didn't walk well. She was super understanding and told me that she actually didn't even have to shave her. An hour later, Jade was ready to be picked up and I teared up when I saw Jade. I could not believe how incredible of a job they did with her. She looked like a brand new dog with all her life back in her. I keep looking at her and am just amazed how they transformed her. In addition to that, I could tell Jade LOVED the staff and I could see they genuinely care about dogs. They even sent her home with a cookie and gave her a little birthday outfit when they found out her birthday was yesterday. Jade has had a rough past few years, but thanks to Club Mutt, she is feeling loved and beautiful again. Please see my photos for a before and after. We love you Club Mutt! read more

Amazing !!! I was recommended this groomer by someone I met at a dog park. It's very hard to come across groomers that not only do a great job but don't cost an arm and a leg for a large dog ! I brought my doodle in today and she was done within a couple hours. I was so very impressed by her cut; they did exactly what I wanted. FIVE STARS for this local business in Chino Hills. The way I found this place was due to Petsmart grooming becoming so inconsistent for 5 years. I just happened to call and they were able to fit Spike in with only 48 hours notice. I have now been coming here for approx 2 years and the service has always been great all the staff here is so friendly on every visit. Because of our hectic schedules our small dog requires more work than the normal but we're never charged extra. Not only do they do a great job but the prices are very reasonable and they almost always have our dog ready earlier than the promised time which is a huge plus. There is plenty of parking as well within 100 feet of this business. I highly recommend anyone to try them once and experience what a great job they do with your pet(s) I'm a strong believer in supporting all local businesses which rely on the neighborhood to keep their doors open. I help run a Doberman rescue; I was transporting a Doberman between fosters/boarding, and realized he was in very bad need of a bath. I just googled the closest place for self-wash and popped in. This is a very clean facility, the staff is super nice and helpful. They also had really cool assortments of treats and cookies, so I got a bully stick and some decorated cookies on the way out. :) Overall a good experience. read more

I took my pug, Rufus, here for a bath, nail trim and dental cleaning for the first time today, and we had a very good experience! My dog is really bad with being separated from me, and the groomer had a bit of trouble getting him to go with her but she was still very kind and gentle with him. The ladies who work here have really great customer service, and they understand that these are our babies we're leaving in their care. Usually, when I leave Rufus at a groomer or vet, when I pick him up, I can tell he's stressed and aggravated, but this time, he was very happy when I came to get him an hour after I dropped him off. He smelled amazing, his teeth were very shiny and his nails were perfect (we've gotten him back bleeding and limping before with other groomers so it was nice to see he was perfectly fine). They even put a cute, little Valentine's bandana around his neck so he looked super handsome! Great service for an amazing price; I will definitely be taking my dog here from now on! read more
