During pickup, my experience at the front desk wasn't great. The staff member was speaking very loudly the entire time (possibly due to the barking in the background), but it came across as dismissive. There wasn't much eye contact or friendliness, which made the interaction feel impersonal. I also would have appreciated a quick update or report on how my dog did during his stay, as that would have added peace of mind. Overall, my dog seemed well cared for, but the customer service and communication could definitely be improved.

I trusted Chino Hills Animal Hospital with my dog Jax for years, which honestly makes this even…read moreharder to write. Jax had a long history of worsening mobility problems, limping, weakness, pain, trouble standing, and documented masses. In 2024, a cytology sample from a mass came back limited/nondiagnostic, but I was never made to understand that this meant a serious tumor process had not actually been ruled out. Later, Jax underwent surgery for removal of masses, and I eventually learned there was "no way to know" what those masses actually were because definitive histopathology was never completed. Over time, the records continued documenting concerning findings including suspected neoplasia/mass, worsening hind limb weakness, enlarged lymph nodes, mobility decline, and progressive pain. In August 2025, abdominal and hind limb X-rays were performed while Jax was already struggling with worsening weakness and mobility decline. Looking back now, I seriously question whether the underlying tumor process was adequately recognized or escalated at that point. In November 2025, Jax became extremely sick and weak. A lot of the focus appeared directed toward suspected pancreatitis and diabetes management. After seeking a second opinion, another veterinarian documented severe pelvic limb weakness, muscle wasting, neurologic decline, and a large femoral mass. The veterinarian who later performed Jax's euthanasia documented massive tumor-related swelling involving his left pelvic limb and concern for neoplastic disease including possible nerve sheath tumor or sarcoma. What completely haunts me is how Jax died. During his final days, my dog was crying in pain, struggling to move, and suffering in ways I will never forget for the rest of my life. I had to make the devastating decision to euthanize him at home because his condition had progressed so severely that he could no longer walk without suffering. After another veterinarian questioned aspects of the treatment approach and documented the large mass findings, I've requested a refund and tried to get answers regarding how Jax's condition progressed to such a severe state. I never received meaningful clarification from Dr. Dunbar. I have since submitted a Veterinary Medical Board complaint along with supporting medical records, imaging, second-opinion evaluations, and euthanasia documentation for review. Please advocate hard for your pets, request copies of every diagnostic report, and seek second opinions early if something does not feel right.

Our dog likes a routine and Zenia was able to read her wishes. She closely watches and picks up on clues. Zenia also followed instructions without judgment. Everyday we had videos and pictures while we were gone, reassuring us that Zenia understood what our dog needed and that our dog was happy. She worked well with our anxious big dog and her nervous parents.

The person that helped me initially was so kind and answered all of my questions - no judgment. It can be scary leaving your pet at a resort for the first time. My vet hospital recommended this place - as their dogs stay here. We were out of state for a few days and they posted our girl on Instagram, and man the joy in her face! It was great to see her while we were away. She was a happy girl here, and a happy girl back at home. Been meaning to make a review to thank the lovely people here for taking such great care of her. Also a plus - the price for the space and even swimming and grooming was super reasonable. In this economy, this did not hurt my wallet. Would 100/10 recommend this place to anyone.

Spoke with Leah who was so friendly and professional to set everything up. We decided to do a complimentary practice run with my doodle for a half day. He LOVED it and came back so pumped (and tired) from all the new friends he made. The PSS team made sure to send photo updates of Otis while in their care. We then had him do an overnight stay on NYE and picked him up in the morning. Can't wait for my pup to visit the IE again, knowing he has a safe place to visit. Thank you PSS.

Kind, gentle, patient, compassionate, knowledgeable; always so warm and welcoming for myself and my pup. In March of this year, I called to schedule an appt and was told that Jackie no longer worked there and was provided no explanation or additional info. Needless to say, I was shocked and disappointed. I can't speak to what happened, as I don't know. Fortunately, after a bit of a search, I was able to find Jackie and thankfully, she has moved on with her own business. I'm so grateful I was able to reconnect with her as she's the best groomer we've ever had. As far as the 2 star rating, that stands for the business with regard to their lack of acknowledgement and communication with her clients. This rating by no means represents Jackie, as she is well beyond a 5 star rating! Winnie stayed at St. Mark's this past weekend and had a blast! I rescued Winnie 7 months ago and…read morealthough she's thrived being in our home, she's still very cautious and I was concerned in how she would react being away from home. St Mark's changed all of that from the first phone call. The lady who answered listened to Winnie's story and was very understanding. Walking into St Marks Winnie was a little nervous, but once she got in the door and started meeting her caretakers she looked so happy and comfortable. She didn't even look behind her as she was walked away lol Throughout Winnie's stay the staff sent me photos and videos of Winnie. I loved being able to have that, seeing Winnie have fun helped me to enjoy my own trip. Although it looks like Winnie had the better vacation lol I did choose to add grooming before I picked her up. Best decision...best groom ever, she came back smelling good and so so soft! Thank you St. Mark's for truly showing love and care, I know my baby is in good hands.

I called in a panic and offered to pay whatever was necessary for them to board and treat my puppy. Instead of trying to help, I was told the veterinarian needed me to be there in person. No one could explain why my physical presence was required, especially when I was willing to authorize treatment, provide payment, and have a responsible person there by 10:00 AM. This was an emergency situation involving a puppy that had potentially ingested something toxic. What bothered me most was the complete lack of flexibility or compassion. In a situation where every minute matters, I expected a veterinary office to work with me to find a solution, not simply turn us away. If the well-being of animals is truly the priority, I would have hoped for more effort to help a scared pet owner and a puppy in need. Unfortunately, my experience left me feeling that policies were more important than the health and safety of my dog.

She even bought my little fast eater a maze bowl to help him slow down his eating. Sends pictures and videos every visit and gives me a level of comfort while I travel that my pets are really cared for.
