There are dancers of all ages, which is very cool, and the leaders who were forced to dance with me seemed to be understanding, even though I am an awful dancer. I guess everyone is a beginner at some point! I hope to go back and improve my skills!

He heard my story told me i had a job,a home and not to be afraid. He did not know me.He didn't know what kind of person i was but he took me in anyway.For the next 6 and a half weeks as i waited for my son to purchase his first home i stayed at Daniels Hall. I slept on the couch next to the bar with my clothes is boxes and my computer i was safe. Joanne made me feel at home from the beginning and made me laugh again,she is a wonderful lady.I am writing this to let everyone know that there are still great people in this world who care.David and Joanne are two of them.I also have to apologize for how long it took to post this.The tower to my computer was damaged in our final move and it has taken me this long to afford another one.In closing i would like to thank David and Joanne for taking in a total stranger and giving her a place to lay her head and hope for the future. It's a lot of fun, and a great opportunity to practice what you just learned. Jim has an impressive playlist that's fun to dance to. The only disappointment for me has been that for the last couple months significantly more men have participated than women, which has resulted in me not always having a dance partner. Ladies will have no difficulty getting a dance partner. Good food and drinks are available at the bar, but you'll want to eat before the lesson starts so that you don't have to stop dancing. Most nights the dancing ends at 23:00, but sometimes it keeps going until midnight. If you stay until the end, you may get invited to an afterparty for more dancing. If you dance Miami style salsa on 1, it's really not difficult to transition to NY style salsa on 2, and during the social dance, there's a good likelihood that you will be able to find someone who can dance both styles.
