The lobby is very very big and they have a bar, a snack stand, and sell pizzas from the restaurant across the street. There's even some tables to sit at to enjoy your concessions and lots of room for a merch table, etc. The bar had a good list of offerings - but I'm not sure I loved the magnet/washer beer draft system. I can't explain it - if you go you'll see. The auditorium itself was intimate, all the seats were good. It's a historic theater, so there is less room than you might be used to - but I didn't feel uncomfortable. I went for the two night magnetic fields event and I had such a great time. I have to give some extra praise. I thought I lose my wallet the first night, I called the box office and the person there very happily assured me they would check the lost and found and call me back. They did indeed call me back and were so kind. I really appreciated it. If you go, be prepared to park in the municipal garage and walk to the venue. Give yourself some extra time to park and walk.

Called in and ordered the rueben (2) and Chocolate cream pie. Got there and nobody said hello for the first 3-4 minutes which seems long. Standing by the food area facing the bar, and no one said I'll be right with you or even acknowledged I was there for another 4-5 minutes. Then the waitress looked at me and said they would be right with me. A few minutes later, bartender said "Are you Bruce?" That ended all conversation until the food was done. Now in fairness, I am a native New Yorker so I have expectations when it comes to NYC food such as a reuben. Disappointed for certain. The bread was double thick marble but could not even taste any rye, toasted so it made it very hard to bite. The meat was cut very thick and it was undercooked; so it was tough to chew. Maybe a 1/4Lb at the most. Had to look to find the swiss cheese. Sauce was good as was the amount and flavor of the sauerkraut. The pie was good. It looks llike a nice place, similar to other bars in the area, but this one has a small stage for entertainment. Will try once more as the burger was written about as much as the reuben. So, I'll let you all know when we go. Update: Just read the description - Not a real reuben as it is made with pastrami not corned beef.

Alibi Aftermath is a low key neighborhood bar and eatery, located on Wilson Street between…read moreSomerville & Silver Streets, formerly Alibi Lounge and under new ownership. The place has a full service bar with seating and TVs above, pool tables, darts and a few regular long tables. The food menu offers Detroit style pizzas, pasta dishes, hot subs, and appetizers. They also offer a prix fixe Monday Ladies Night meal deal which includes salad, a special entree, dessert & drink for $25. The Ladies Night dinner specials they've offered recently including the filet mignon and the bolognese lasagna sounded pretty good. The bar offers 6 draft beers, beer bottles/cans, mixed drinks and cocktails. Happy Hour Specials (Mon-Thur) are offered after 9pm. I stopped by the Alibi Aftermath for food recently and took a seat at the bar. A patron (who had a bit much to drink) was slurring wisecracks at the bartender, who was being a good sport. The place was moderately busy. I got an ice water and ordered the Garlic Parmesan Chicken Tenders ($9.50 plus tax) and the Ziti with Meatballs ($15.99 plus tax), which came out together as requested, in about 15 minutes. The 7 breaded chicken tenders were small soft tender chicken strips coated in a garlic parmesan sauce, a bit salty tasting. The al dente ziti was smothered in a tomato sauce topped with ricotta cheese & mozzarella cheese and 2 homemade meatballs. While the meatballs were soft and very good, the ziti dish was very salty tasting. I also cut up most of the chicken tenders and ate with the ziti, both salty. I definitely needed the big ice water to wash down the aftertaste. After I was done, it took a bit to cash out since the bartender was taking care of patrons at the bar and at the tables. The check came out to $27.78 with tax and before tip. Overall, the food was okay and salty on this visit. The service was adequate.
