Our first time visiting the Music hall and it was a great night! Awesome band, Anthony Gomes! Spacious dining hall venue, delicious food and very nice waitstaff, door greeters and just everyone we came into contact with. We will definitely go back for another night of entertainment. Wanted to love this place. Definitely a very cool vibe. Not sure if it was the show or the venue, but the sound system was very muddled. Both for the opener and for the main act. Also a great deal of kids were there for the show Which I don't know if that's typical. I have a gaggle of kids so I have nothing against them. Just didn't know there would be so many at this show. ;) outside of that-tons of parking and definitely a cool venue. The food was a bit fast foody though. Baskets of burgers ish. read more

Music was great. Second level seats are the kind of chairs used at banquets which are pushed in rows. The narrow, uncomfortable chairs touch each other (not even an inch between them). Also, they are all on the same level and not staggered so all you can see is the person sitting directly in front of you. Little leg room. It's shameful to charge for a squished, uncomfortable seat with obstructed [no] view of the stage. read more

My son who is a disabled veteran from the United States Marine Corps, his twin brother and their dad{my husband}who a few months ago had a heart attack bought tickets to see Walter Trout on March 27 2025 My husband got faint about 15 minutes into the show which happens sometimes from his heart medications he takes. His sons walked him outside to the car for some air for about 10 minutes. When they walked back in the manager who was very rude would not let them back to their table. Paid $150 to a show they didn't get to see. I am very disappointed in this establishment And I'll repeat my reply. My wife and I attended the Abba Tribute show last night. This was our first visit to the venue, and we were blown away. Easy parking, great customer staff, drinks were priced right, and the band was amazing. The place is clean, and we will definitely be back especially because we live in Londonderry NH. Very nice venue for seeing some high quality music / comedy acts. The place is clean, modern, nicely set up, this was our first time there and I was suitable impressed. Full bar and actually has a nice selection of craft beers and wines. Food was what you might call bar average. Solid 4.5 stars. Will definately go back. read more

Visited 11/18/2023 for a murder mystery dinner show. Small intimate venue. Very clean and up to date, including the restroom. Very equipped large bar with 3 bartenders. Got a margarita (no salt, don't recall if they just don't do it or some other reason). Water bottles need to have cap removed. For dinner part there is. Nesting during the show. All plates and metal cutlery must be removed before the show starts. Counter seats (inside theatre)are optimal if you want a good view and not have to be seated next to and talk to strangers at tables of 6. Meal was lasagna (meat lasagna or cheese lasagna with garlic bread and pumpkin mousse for dessert). Would love to come here to see a show/play/band etc as there is no bad seats. There is also 6 rows of stadium style seating at the back. read more

First time here to see King's X over Halloween weekend. It's always a little strange to have seats on the floor for a 'Big Rock Show.' Staff was super friendly, you can tell they really like working here. I caught a concert here in early May. The venue is easy to find and has ample parking. I would just recommend getting there about an hour early to ensure you get a good spot. The staff are very friendly and eager to assist you in finding your seat. The food was priced at typical high venue convenience pricing, but the quality of the food was very good. I got a burger and fries that was solid. The band even commented during their set, that they enjoyed the food they ate there, as well. lol Sound quality at the venue is excellent, and would recommend anyone catch a show here if they haven't been. read more

This is a review for Tupelo's Drive In concert experience during COVID. Phenomenal! Went to see Will Dailey and the whole experience was aces. Very organized, cars/patrons were all adequately socially distanced. Food service and a booze buggy were available to all customers. The sound was top notch...great job to the sound engineer. Such a fun way to experience live music given the times we are in. Bravo on a job well done. read more

Five stars for the venue and the entertainment and service. Two stars for the food, it was MEH. My one major complaint is that the menu does not match the food that they provide to you. For instance the Let's Taco 'Bout It tacos are chicken tacos but they are loaded with onions. Well I cannot eat raw onions and I order food based on the menu. This item was misrepresented. Also the Buffalo Chicken Rolls were blah. My wife had the Love Me Tender Wrap with the buffalo chicken and it was spicy hot and tasty. The fries were delicious. The beers are very expensive at $9.75 for a 16-20 oz The venue itself was very nice I don't think there's a bad seat in the house. Next time we will eat before we arrive. read more

I finally got to see a show at Tupelo! I have been wanting to go now for years and I finally purchased tickets to see Suzanne Vega. The new space in Derry is very spacious and with good seating and views all around. Great parking, and location! Close to the stage you may be seated and share a table with others which is fine with me. Lighting and acoustics seemed fine. Great beers on tap. Food too but I ate before the performance. One thing worth mentioning is that if people want to exit the performance area, that they must walk through the entire seating area as their is one exit- they can not circumvent the audience. This can be a bit off putting and distracts all parties. I am so glad the Tupelo is there and they are getting some really big names now that they have a bigger venue. Ticket prices are very reasonable too! read more

The FIRST and LAST time I will visit this place. I took an early day off, drove one hour each way, and spent $125 on dinner and gas. Got there, and the place was in darkness. Several other cars arrived, with the same issue. I emailed them, and the owner replied stating the show was cancelled. He sent an email through a different address, that went to junk. Several of us had no idea. When I asked him why he couldn't communicate this through the email that sent confirmations, COVID protocalls and show reminders, he immediately got defensive. His replies were dismissive and arrogant. He clearly could not care less. When I called him out, he stated he would refund me, and did not want me to ever set foot on his property. Total lack of customer service and empathy for his patrons. I will never go there again and put a dollar in this guy's pocket. He needs training. read more

I have been to the old one and the new one now that exists. Let me start by saying that I will always have a place in my heart for Tupelo, they allowed me to see The Smithereens a few years ago, before the lead singer Pat Dinizio. The old place which was essentially a barn structure, had no A/C and wasn't the most comfortable, but still had a cool vibe to it and all. The new place is truly state of the art, and I applaud the owners. I assume they love music the way I do and always dreamed about owning a place like this and this was the dream realized. I could be completely wrong and this could be some rich person just trying to make a buck, but I like my version better. The sound is great, the seats are very comfortable and the acts are just what you would expect, enough to fill the room but still within the budget that alllows them to turn a profit. (Hopefully) The bar is fully stocked and they have beers on tap that I believe they swap out seasonal etc, I have encountered happy to there type workers and people who just shouldn't be working there. This is a night out for most people, they are spending good money, you should smile and keep that in mind if you are an employee there (Management keep an eye on this) I am not alone in this, as you can see from other reviewers. There is ample parking in their own lot, and last time I was there I think they mentioned you could park in some of the neighboring lots if they were full. The food menu isn't huge, but the couple of things I have had there have been good enough, again I am there like everyone else, for the Magic and love of music. There's something special about getting the intimacy of a small room. I am happy they moved and made such an amazing set up. I like the way the bar isn't in the music room, I wish more venues would do the same. I think they let you go outside to smoke, but I could care less, if you want to smoke and kill yourself slowly have at it. Looking forward to the Geoff Tate (Queensryche) 30th anniversary of Empire show next week. read more

First time at this new location. It looks pretty new, large and clean. I like the way they have set up the drink and food area. The chocolate cake looked awesome. The pizza pretty large and looked delicious! Unfortunately being vegan deprives me of such a luxury. The sitting area is done good with tables and chairs. My only issue here was the stage was pretty high and it hurt my neck looking up even though I was siting right in the front. Howie Day was performing and he did an awesome job. Overall a great venue to see acts perform. But I have literally NEVER been as uncomfortable in a seat as I was during this concert. I've been more comfortable in airline seating than I was in the lower level concert seating set up. It is impossible for an entire row of people to sit forward because there is ZERO shoulder room. At least 2-3 people in every row have to angle there bodies sideways or sit forward in their seat ok no order to have some space. I would rather pay a little extra for a ticket than be crammed in like sardines for a show. I left with backpain and an overwhelming disappointment that a GREAT concert was ruined by my preoccupation with the pain I was in. Please reconsider the number of seats per row in the lower level. It was torture trying to sit there and enjoy the music. The ONLY way I would consider going back is if I could guarantee that I would not be seated in that lower level with that seating formation. read more

We arrived forty five minutes before the show. Staff took the menu off the table as we sat down and directed us to the order window, nothing polite about that treatment. Waited over 30 minutes for the food, none showed. They would not bring it to the table, we had to keep going back to check on it. It was bad. Soft nachos, hardly any toppings; salad with brisket may have had one sliver of unidentifiable meat. No table service for drinks either. Lighting was poor, sound was fair. We disliked the first artist and they would not allow us reentry, so we were held captive in an unfriendly atmosphere. Had a horrible evening. read more

I was very disappointed that I was unable to attend the Blue Oyster Cult show, especially as it had been rescheduled so many times, due to my not having the Covid vaccine, and wasn't about to spend another $150 for an antibody test. ****YOUR ENJOYMENT DEPENDS ON WHERE YOU SIT**** The old Tupelo was great. One basic level and thus every seat was good. The idea to expand was highly anticipated yet the new venue leaves me shaking my head. The biggest problem with the new venue is the tiered seating. The floor is as good as before- close and intimate although the tie-wrapped seats make for the high likelihood of being uncomfortable (more on this later). The issue is the second tier. Basically, it is not angled at all so you will see the back of the heads of the people seated at the counter or those who are taller than you. The sight lines are just not well thought out. The rear seats are a good idea but the first few rows suffer from the same issue of poor sight lines. If you don't care about seeing the band, then you are good since the back of heads is what you will see. As with all seats, they can be tight depending on the setup. If it is the classical seats in rows, pray that the big guy isn't seated next to you because you will have zero space since the chairs are all tie-wrapped together meaning that you have no space at all. Their slogan is "It's all about the music" but it is also "all about the money". I respect this but it certainly would be nice to have a row removed to provide some relief for those who are not 5'5" and 110 pounds......like most of their clientele....... With all this said, it is great to have a location that brings named talent to the area and the drive is close to home, reasonable ticket prices, and generally a first class operation by management. I just wish they put more into the design. It just means I need to be fast when buying my tickets! read more

This is a shout out that is long overdue. When my husband passed last July, we had him cremated here in Florida and brought the urn back to MA. John and I loved music and went to many concerts there. I was struggling to find a place to have a Celebration of Life. Then my son said he was going up there for a concert. I called Tupelo and was able to book for two hours. We made a playlist and they supplied the sound equipment. We parked every other space and wore masks. Our family got so many complements on the way everything went so well. This is a review of the new space, not the old space. I have hesitated to write a review because I wanted to try out different types of concerts here... both from a seating perspective and a genre perspective. I was a definite fan of the old space. I wanted to wait to see if it was just getting used to the new acoustic and new stage. After attending approximately 6 concerts, I am dreading finishing out the tickets we have already purchased, and these are the reasons why: It used to be all about the music.... In the current space, it is no longer about the music. The light show that accompanies most shows is very distracting, and at points pulls the attention of the listener away from the stage. I have to shut my eyes to avoid the bright white moving lights... which are almost painful in intensity. The sound system is all about the subwoofer... at the detriment of balance and blend of the performers. It sounds as if the bass drum/toms and the bass guitar are piped through the same channel.... muddying the sound of the bass guitar for sure. There have been concerts where the vocalist can't be heard well (as in can't understand lyrics), or the lead guitarist can't be heard. There was a performance where the band played a jazz tune, and it didn't call for a subwoofer... ruined the song. We have sat in front of the stage, at the middle of the floor, at the back of the hall.... no place seems to be the "sweet spot" where everything sits in balance. The fact that the bar is open for most of the performance is probably great from a revenue standpoint, but from an audience standpoint it is problematic. Again, it doesn't matter where you sit in the hall... someone is moving in front of you to go get another drink... and at all times. This also pulls your attention away from the performers and breaks the continuity of the performance. The behavior of the crowd is not managed well. Tickets are fairly expensive. To have people loudly talking around you, rather than moving out to the lobby, is a constant problem. The last concert I went to, two weeks ago, I had adults standing on the mezzanine chairs to get to an empty row so they could dance. If they knew the song, they sang along and danced. If they did not know the song, they loudly talked through it. I watched badged workers walk past and say nothing. I have had people move up into front row empty seats and dance wildly in the seat bumping into us, without concern. Again, pulling attention away from the performers on stage. I understand that as a concert goer I may be unusual, in that, I want a good experience for my money. I actually want to listen to, and watch the performers on stage. I do not want anyone to intrude on my paid for space. After the concerts we have tickets for are done, we will not be coming back in a hurry. It is a shame, because we were members, purchased a seat in the new hall, and were supportive of "It's all about the music", because it was. It is no longer the case. read more

Not a bad seat in the house! Not only is this place brand new, clean, and spacious, but it has a delicious, affordable full menu, and an impressive bar selection. The table seating surrounding the lower section is genius in providing a great view combined with premium comfort, and is worth every penny of the small up-charge. Parking is free and plentiful. If being a top-notch facility weren't enough, the owners and staff are some of the most caring people I have encountered in the business world. My husband, a cancer survivor, suffered a cardiac syncope, losing consciousness, while attending a Citizen Cope concert at Tupelo, and the venue responded by pausing the show, bringing up the lights, providing first responders, and calling an ambulance which arrived in less than five minutes. If that weren't enough, the owner, Scott, and his wife left an amazing show with a packed house to deliver my car to the hospital so I could ride with my husband in the ambulance. Anyone can build a first-class performing arts venue, but not everyone can be first-class people. Tupelo Music Hall provides both, and I hope every person reading this knows that spending your money at this local gem benefits all that is right in the world. read more

Wow, way to not understand what made Tupelo Music Hall special. The old Tupelo was an amazing space with a lot of character. Yes, it was smaller and had less parking. But you could BYOB and a big part of the charm and soul of that place was that it was like a repurposed old barn -- a great place to hear music up close and personal. The new Tupelo is bland, boring, and exactly what you'd expect from a space that's buried within a town's industrial park area. In a nondescript building, you walk into a large lobby area that is about as inviting as walking into a local Costco's. Yes, they have more food options now, and no longer allow you to BYOB (in fact, it is strictly prohibited). The performance space itself is even more disappointing. A giant square warehouse space with a stage at one end looks a lot like someone's high school or town auditorium. To keep seating flexibility, there's still a large flat area in front of the stage that is usually setup with rows upon rows of TIGHTLY spaced chairs. Like the kind of chairs you'd find being used in a Hilton's ballroom. And when I mean "tightly" spaced, you WILL become friends with your neighbors' legs (and more, if they have bo or what-not). Adding to the joy of this new space is the lack of any kind of labels on these rows of chairs. So you'll be doing some pointing and counting every time you come into the space to see a show. Because, what, labels for the chairs are too expensive? Or is it just too darned much work to have to stack chairs with some sort of order?? So, okay, Tupelo moved from a space with character and soul into a soulless corporate, bland space apparently designed by some ex-Walmart employees. At least the climate is cooler, right? Not the night I went. The AC was working, but it was still like 5-10 degrees warmer in the auditorium than was comfortable. I guess I should give them credit for the overpriced drinks and the opportunity to offer larger bathrooms -- but they didn't really. So you'll still be standing in line for those bathrooms, to empty that overpriced drink from your bladder. The sound was good, however. And the place is clean. And of course, they could fit more patrons into the space (looked like about double the size of the old place), which I guess was the whole point of moving in the first place. But Tupelo making more profit never really mattered much to me as a customer, so the end result may be better for them, but not as much for the people attending shows there. But sorely disappointed in the feel of the new place. It completely lacks everything that made Tupelo special in the first place, and it's really sad the owners didn't understand that when looking to move. I no longer will think of Tupelo as "Hey, that special place in New Hampshire where you can see acts up-close in an intimate, rustic setting." Now I'll think of it as, "Hey, that drab, industrial place in New Hampshire where you can see acts pretty up-close in a high school auditorium setting." Too bad, Tupelo, but I feel like you really blew it. read more
