Decent place to grab a drink, but come in with low expectations and don't plan on eating. They serve food but I don't recommend it for anything more than a bar snack. This place is incredible!!! The table service is awful but the bartenders are great. The parking lot is dark and sketchy but there's plenty of parking. Large seating area around fantastic dance floor with fans in front and raised stage for line music. This was our first visit to see a friend in the band. It's a true honky tonk. They have a good amount of security. Open a tab, they keep the card until you cash out. Seats aren't the most comfy but you're not meant to stay in them. Get up and dance!! We hosted a Retirement Party for Mike and Julie Duffy. It went great. We set up our own food tables and reserved spots and it went great. Thank you to the owners for letting us have our party here. Cannot uncheck the "thumbs up" on the food. Should be a thumbs down. Food was typical bar...greasy burger, onion rings cold, asked for a double Captain Coke and the charge $12 in a small glass. They should have just brought me 2 drinks and save the embarrassment of not knowing what a double is. Save the diarrhea and go to a different bar. I expect more from " Americas #1 Honkey Tonk Club". A very interesting establishment! They have a good selection of burgers/sandwiches and appetizers. I would stay away from the chili. Way too heavy/greasy. Unfortunately the bartender was too busy socializing and it was very challenging to get her attention. They appear to offer music throughout the week as well as trivia on Thursdays. They also have a pool table and darts. Parking is plentiful. I'm looking forward to visiting again. Many folks were mentioning that the ribs are fantastic! read more

last weekend I came in, I asked for my tab at 1:30 so she wasn't rushing to hand out tabs a few minutes later, I went to the restroom (they locked 2 stales..weird (maybe they already cleaned them didn't want to do it again)) came out she still didn't bring my tab, so I asked for it at the bar since it was now 1:50.. then the rude serve Alyssa looked down the bar where she was SITTING AND STUFFING HER FACE with her buddys.. and says "why she say it like that..." because maybe I want to go home, and your not doing your job... but once the "bouncer" heard her snippy comment he got up and he tells the whole bar "if you don't work here you need to leave" I know when it's time to leave, and I was trying.. everyone was pretty effin rude. read more

We came to see the band. Unfortunately there were no seats left. A lot of empty tables, but all were reserved. So we smiled and went over to the bar for food and drinks. I ordered the famous Short Ribs. It took a while to get my food. Everyone else got their food and finished before I even got my salad that came with the dinner. Still waiting, so I thought I would start my review. Well I'm back and just finished my Ribs. The sauce was nice and tangy with a bit of spice. Not to spicy. The meat did fall of the bones and part of it was juicy but a bit dry as well. The ends were definitely dry. And sadly the potatoes were cold. Ok now we're excited for the band. Wait. Looks like we need to pay for a stamp first or we have to leave after paying for our meal. So we paid for the cover after dinner. It turns out that that was the best part of our night. Nice little dive bar/honky-tonk. The country music is plentiful and the service good. Anna was our waitress and she made sure our drinks were kept full and that we had all we needed for our meals. We started at the bar and ate dinner and had drinks. My wife had a hamburger, well done, and I had the Club Canton Chicken sandwich. The burger was cooked as requested and the bacon on my sandwich was thick sliced and cooked to perfection. We moved to another table in the bar and found a nice table in the corner near the stage that was a nice place to chill before the band started at 9pm. Overall, the prices were very fair, the food was good, and the service was great. We plan on coming back, and certainly recommend you check this place out. P.S. The info in Yelp is incorrect. They take all major credit cards, open at 2pm, and there was no BBQ on the menu. read more

The day that you'd find me in a bar on karaoke night.. country karaoke night to be exact.. well, I didn't think that day would come. Until we went with our old friend and a new friend whom happens to be an absolutely amazing singer! I on the other hand not so much. I mean, I'm decent, but you'll never catch me on a stage for any reason other than perhaps to do a presentation or something. Just not gonna happen. The people watching was prime, though! Our visit here was a bit of a surprise, spur of the moment thing, as we were celebrating our friends' birthday hopping from place to place. The staff here went above and beyond to make it special for him.. they put a sign up front and even litterally went to the store to get us the liquor we wanted which they ran out of earlier that night. I went Tuesday this week and she wasn't there I thought it was a tad weird but it was okay but whoever they had back there instead of her was very rude and acted like I was a bother to her and as soon as she spoke she reaked of liquor like woah . This is one of them there deals that you almost don't want to let too many people know because it's such a smokin deal, and you don't want to see it go away. Granted, this might not be everybody's cup of tea. It's a country bar that goes way back and has history in the area. You ain't in Birmingham or Bloomfield Hills, baby! This is Canton, but if you like the BEST $1 burgers (Monday night only - WITH fries included), $10 rib dinner (Thursday only - with potato of choice) and the COLDEST beers (literally ice on the bottles) then you might like the Canton Club. There's occasional live music (Thur? - not always strict country) with a nice stage and sound system and with a dance floor for dancers. I could wax euphoric about the ribs, but they really have to be experienced. As I write this, I am counting the minutes until I'll be there tonight to meet friends, watch Thursday Night Football and achieve meat candy nirvana. The owners are friendly and the atmosphere is ultra-casual. The food specials is what got me coming back to this place. There's lots of places to drink beer (but probably not as cold), but the comfort food they serve on the specials nights are truly a deal, and make it worth the drive to Canton. Word! read more

Redneck/ Farmer Dive Bar. Interesting place, certainly looks bigger inside than it does outside. Different, but friendly crowd . This is the first place I've ever been to that never heard of a Vodka Redbull. This is not to pick on the poor guy, i know farmers just love their beer and shots of jack or whatever. But it was interesting, it went down like this... Emmett : "Hey fellas what can I getcha?" Me: "A Bottle of bud lite and a Vodka Redbull" Emmett: "A vodka what!? Redbull?" Me: " yes, its an energy drink. do you have Redbull?" Emmett: "well we have Monster and Redbull" Me: "Can you mix vodka and some Redbull in a glass with ice for me?" Emmett: -scratching his head walking away "Vodka Redbull, what in the world..." a few mins later. . . Emmett: "here you are, sorry, I just never heard of that" Me: "totally fine, thank you!" as we are turned around people watching something catches my attention out of the corner of my eye, i turn around to find Emett with a straw in hand stirring my drink. "Thought you might want a bigger straw" he says, very kind and thoughtful of him but c'mon, in this day and age to randomly stir or handle someones drink after they have been drinking from it is not OK. For all i know he could have mixed something in there, or given me a dirty straw. . . It was just weird, so I stuck to bottle beer the rest of the night. I like the place, even though it is not my type of crowded or music even, it just has a friendly vibe. But this is an opportunity to sell cocktails that they messed up and missed out on. they could have sold cocktails for $5+ instead of $3 beers. I have since then returned to the place and my cocktails are made just fine, but what if I was having a crummy night and that experience ruined it, its just something small dying bars like this don't think about. read more
