Literally sold us the biggest piece of crap truck you can imagine 6 years ago, not even a month off the lot the truck wasn't running. It's been nothing but problems since, took it into a repair shop today for normal wear and tear stuff just to find out there are MORE pieces replaced by this piece of crap company that don't belong on the vehicle. Every repair shop we have been to we hear the same thing "this isn't even for this truck". 1000% do not recommend this place. They are extremely nice to you when you get there. If they could, they would roll out a red carpet so you can walk in; that is until they talk you into buying one of their lemons. But, don't waste your time coming to this place. You will regret it so much you have no idea. Your savings and that money you worked so hard for will be gone by then. When I went there, the owner was fighting with a customer who had purchased a car from there a few weeks ago; they refused to look at it, fix it, give her credit or give her money back. I talked to another lady later on who had been burned by this place as well. It should be called Lemon Auto Sales. Apparently they specialize in selling cars to young people, specially women with zero knowledge about cars so they can be ripped off. We all have gone with family or purchased a car before but never like this! We went to see a car and no BS straight to the point most importantly they listen! We were out of the lot within 45min to an hour. Frank was awesome very approachable and personable. Robert was a blessing in disguise, lets just say he had a lot in common with us. DO NOT BUY A USED VEHICLE FROM THIS PLACE! Not only did they sell me a vehicle with a cracked windshield that they purposely hid under one of their display stickers but they sold me a vehicle with a blown head gasket!!!! I drove less than a mile away from the dealership when I removed the sticker and saw the crack. I immediately called the salesman that sold me the car and he said to repair it and they'll reimburse me. Two weeks later, that salesman stopped responding, come to find that he no longer worked there. Sketchy!!! Also, I believe they paid someone extra at the nearby Honda dealership to give the vehicle a clean check up before I purchased it. I hadn't even owned the car for more than 6 months before I had to replace the fan belt, engine, radiator, a window motor, and the windshield! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY i just bought a 2007 gmc yukon on feb. 1.2019 and on feb. 3 2019 the battery gave out just like all the other reviews the battery dont work. on feb. 11.2019 it started to flash the check engine light and the stability trak came on so on feb 14 2019 i took it to the shop and they told me its something in the moter and that they would have to open it and see and i started crying because i work hard for my money i have kids and it was hard for me to save up for my down payment the machanic felt bad for me because he had seen i just got the car i still had no plates for the car and it was already messsed up he didnt charge me because he felt bad and told me to call the dealer and let them now see if they can help but guess what they hung up on me after i told them and told me to call tomarrow (feb152019) to speak to doug the manager and i called 3 times before he called me back and told me he cant do nothing about it since i signed its my problem . now im stuck with a car payment and no money and no car...save your money go some where else it sucks these people dont care about hard working people and are famliys read more

Do not buy a trailer from these people. I bought a trailer from them in May. Everything was fine originally. They day after we signed the paper they all of a sudden wanted to come back and say they needed more money down and we were ready to walk away but i really liked the trailer. I picked it up a week later and go it home to realize they had taken out the plugs for the heated mattress and it took them 3 days to find them. All in the meantime i had to continue to reach out to them instead of them returning my phone call. The battery in the trailer also had a dead cell and i had to replace it. I was finally able to use the trailer however the AC unit would not work. After reaching out to them the guy in the shop said he would make a few phone calls to help us trouble shoot the problem and then proceeded to never call us back. We eventually figured it out on our own, no thanks to them. If you are going to buy a trailer i would suggest going to any other dealership in town. They do not have the experience needed to sell these. read more

Test drove a vehicle, and negotiated a cash deal. A manager approved the deal, told the salesman to shake on it, and we handed over the cash. About five minutes later, the salesman informed us that they wouldn't sell it to us at our agreed-on price, and asked for more money. The manager who approved the deal told me that they just wouldn't complete the deal without more money, and they refused to follow through. Really an unbelievably bad experience. read more

I am definitely going to share the kind of business practice with everyone, every website, every media site I can contact as well as major media agencies in our community. He is protected by the Lemon Law and he has had more repairs than allowed in one visit, he was told he is "lucky" he only had to pay half of the major repair cost that with his 1st car payment left him ZERO money to eat!! So let me start by saying I called them in regards to an RV that I found on there site. I called them and worked out a price over the phone as I do not live close by. A deposit was put down on the unit so that it could be held for a couple of days while I worked out the details with the bank. When Monday rolled around and the bank was contacted about the pending transaction. The bank informed me that they needed to make sure the dealer was on the up and up since they had not done business with them in the past....... no problem right.. the next day the bank comes back and says I'm sorry we cannot loan money for an item this dealer is selling as the reviews and ratings are terrible. No problem as not all things work out as we all know. I contact the dealer and let them know that the bank has put a stop to the deal and to please refund the deposit. Two days later I get a call from Robert at Clovis auto sales asking what happened. I decided to try and work with them throughout the day. They sent over a PO that basically said your buying this trailer no matter what whether you use your bank or not. I contacted the dealership and spoke with Sam who informed me that Robert would be contacting me since I was pulling the plug on the deal. Robert called me and would not take no for an answer (leads me to believe he is trying to sell me a pile of crap). After a considerable amount of time and being informed that I was talking down to him while just trying to get a deposit back, I was told to go #%&@ myself. Overall great group of guys who are looking out for the best interest of their customers. Don't give them your credit card info. They illegally charged an unauthorized charge to my account, sold me a truck that has been in the shop more often than not, and when I went to them about it the owner looked at me and said "as is". Their mechanics don't know shit, talked down my trade in Hella bad but it never left me stranded. I found a crudely PATCHED gas tank on my truck which started leaking as soon as I filled up the tank. The transmission leaks. The truck I bought left me stuck broken down before I even got my registration. When tried to show the owner the $320 tow truck bill and the $150 receipt for the part he wouldn't even look at it... AS IS. If I could give less than 1 star I would. I don't usually write reviews but after my experience with Clovis Auto Sales I felt I needed to share an experience. This past week my son and I went to their lot to test drive a Subaru Outback they have. I explained I was looking for a first car for my son and I wanted something safe and reliable. We worked with Mario who was very friendly and professional. We drove the car and it seemed to run fine. Although, when we got out I smelled what I thought was burning oil. I'm not a mechanic by any means, but we've all smelled that smell. I asked if all the cars are inspected for mechanical issues before they are sold. I was assured all of their cars are inspected before they put them out for sale. I told Mario I would like to have my mechanic check the car out. My mechanic runs a very reputable tier and service shop in Fresno. He's not a friend who works on cars as a hobby. Mario agreed and a couple days later he was kind enough to bring the car to my friends shop. I got a call later from my mechanic who told me the car is leaking oil everywhere, the back tires are separating and the vehicle is missing some bearings. He described the car as unsafe and a money pit. DO NOT BUY THIS CAR!!! He asked if I had been told the car had been mechanically inspected. I told him I had and he just laughed and said no mechanical inspection could have missed these problems. I called Mario and told him my mechanics findings and that I would be passing on the car. He politely said ok and had a thanks anyway type of response. I'm not blaming Mario here. I think he was just actually selling a car on their lot and probably believed it had been inspected. This type of business practice is completely unethical and unprofessional and I would never consider doing business with this establishment. I have informed and will continue to inform anyone I know who is in the market for a car to avoid this place. Bad business practice. read more

This place is the definition of a shady car dealership, I bough a car from them three months ago and the transmission went out on me already, the car is a 2006 Pontiac grand prix, me and my husband has never even driven the car out of town, it has only been used locally for us to get back and forth to work, when we contacted the dealership the guy Dale was very rude and defensive with us telling us we bought the car as is and that we had been late on a payment, and demanded we pay 1400.00 dollars to have the car repaired, they would not negotiate giving us another car or even giving a loaner car until the other one is fixed, they basically told me to contact my lawyer which I did, and he is currently reviewing EVERY piece of paperwork this shady place gave me and reviewing every bit of history we can dig up on this car, I hate to have to fight it out in court but I have a young child and refuse to be ripped off like that I bought a car just like this one last year that was an older model, a 2005 from Westland Auto Sales and I drove it back and forth from Los Angeles many of times without a single issue with the engine or transmission, I thought this place would be respectable but boy was I wrong! they give the term used car a whole new deceitful meaning! read more
