Overall, the room was kid-friendly, though being as jumpy as I am I did yell a few times. The Fun House is non-linear, didn't have too many red herrings (which I enjoy more than a million clues leading nowhere), and relatively intuitive. We did start going down the wrong path a few times but were redirected (using the order of found clues vs an inherent order vs order established by another clue). The locks were straightforward, no specialized knowledge needed. We were able to come in early after our brunch and use the complimentary lockers for our items. We had to make restitutions to regain lost time for doing something naughty in the game. Our game master Kaylie was such a great part of our room experience- we would have still been muddling around without her! Thanks for the fun!

The whole process was clear and we had so much fun navigating the clues and immersing ourselves in the experience. Without giving any spoilers, there were so many cool details about this escape room that truly thinks out side of the box compared to other escape rooms. BIG shoutout to will for being such an awesome game master and for being such a genuine, kind soul. lily and leslie were super sweet as well and made our experience so enjoyable. alright, lets start with timeliner. the concept of time traveling and all the small mechanisms was so cool. fun fact, timeliner is the test room for the tech in cosmic crisis! my friends and i have done a good amount of escape rooms 20+ and timeliner is one we got through pretty quick. its a good room if you want to be wowed by the small details. heist is a more hands-on room compared to the timeliner. this room is one where you yourself have to solve the puzzles rather than the technology solving it for you. it catches you off guard and surprises you with all its mechanisms. highly recommend both rooms to anyone looking for a chill escape room experience.

So fun. I'm kicking myself for not being able to remember the name of our game master (tall woman, red hair?) so, I'm sorry for that. But she was terrific. Knew when to let us try to figure things out on our own, and knew just when we might need a hint to nudge us along. She ran a great game and made the experience so much fun for us. The game itself is challenging. You really need to pay attention and use your head. The production value is terrific and the layout of the room is amazingly creepy. If you're looking to have a good time with friends and want to do something different, I recommend Mission Escape Games. It's a ton of fun.

The 3-year-old loved it too, which says a lot. What also stood out was how much thought and effort clearly went into the room design and technology. Jeremy explained some of it to us afterward, and even though he described it as rudimentary, our minds were kind of blown. You can tell a lot of care went into creating an experience that feels immersive, playful, and actually doable for kids. It's such a good summertime or year-round activity because you get a full hour in an air-conditioned space, off your phones, doing something interactive together. If you're looking for a family-friendly, kid-friendly group activity for around 3 to 7 or 8 people, this is such a good one. The concept is also just really cute and fun. She took the time to chat with us before and after the game, and she was just as excited as we were when we escaped with only a few minutes left on the clock.
