Karime rocks. Great artist. Super fun to shoot the breeze and get a knee tattoo. I appreciate them being able to work me in. Shop can be pretty easy to walk right by. So be aware is a blueish color (sorry I'm colorblind) and the door may be closed. So you may have to ring the door bell or knock. read more

If I could give higher than 5 stars I 100% would! I've gotten several tattoos at this shop from a few different artists, and the vibes are always super high!! Very comfy and cute- highly recommend this shop for those looking for a safe space especially for LGBTQ+ folks or those who are very nervous. Even though I am covered in ink, the artists ALWAYS take their time telling you exactly what is going on and ask you how you're doing throughout. Thank you to Lo for my most recent work (photos attached), and to Maggie and BeeBee for my past work! Will 10000000% be coming back for more!! read more

I loved working with Lo! I've been following her work for quite some time and was impressed with her fineline work. She has a lot of beautiful tattoos posted on her IG and also on her website. Her website provided very thorough and helpful information about the process and pricing. Booking was easy and Lo gave me all the information I needed for my appointment. The design process with Lo was very collaborative - with the inspirational photos I sent her via email, she produced such a phenomenal design! When I got to the studio (walking distance from Bart), Lo was super professional and made sure that the tattoo flowed well on my arm before putting on the stencil. The tattooing process went smoothly and pretty much pain-free! I'm a month into my healing, and the piece looks amazing - thank you, Lo! read more

Had a great time getting 2 tattoos done by Lo. I absolutely love the line work and look forward to getting more work done. The location is also very welcoming and accessible to several public transit lines. Thank you Cloud 95 team and thank you Lo! read more

I was excited when I saw Lo was being added to the Cloud 9 team just in time for me to decide I wanted to do a botanical sleeve. I went to Lo during her Halloween flash to get an adorable mushroom moon tattoo and lets just say after that one tattoo Im ready for her to do both my arms! She is not only incredibly talented artistically, but she is fast and a joy to work with. I still cannot believe the quality and detail of the piece she did during the flash sale. Like seriously so good, I can't stop looking at it! It also healed phenomenally with almost no peeling or redness. Honestly looked fully healed in less a week. If you're thinking of getting a tattoo Lo is your girl. Her skills are unmatched and the vibes at Cloud 9 are next level (seriously unlike any other tattoo shop Ive been to). I can't wait to get more work done by her! read more

I got a tattoo from Lo a few weeks ago and am excited every time I catch a view of it. I first saw her work on instagram (lo_gwynn_ink), definitely look there for much better photos of her work than what I was able to take. She was easy to book with, quick to respond, and very communicative. I found their story highlights to be super helpful since I dislike asking questions and know different tattoo artists have different preferences for what sort of info they want ahead of time. The day of was smooth sailing, the shop was cute, chill music played throughout, and the other artists all seemed really nice too. read more

I had the honor of getting a custom tattoo with Lo at Cloud 95. I gave her my vision of a memorial tattoo for my recently deceased father. Lo's artwork exceeded my expectations and brought tears to my eyes. She made me feel comfortable when I arrived and educated me about options I could take with color and shading. The process was smooth and easy. I absolutely adore my tattoo and how it turned out. Lo is amazing! read more

I found Morgan/Mochi on IG (mochi.tattoos) and knew I wanted to work with her for her eye for fine line tattoos :-) I had a great experience getting two pieces from her at Cloud 95. After filling her booking form, Mochi reached out to me to discuss details and confirm a date/time. I submitted a deposit and completed some online forms. The day of: the studio is incredibly inviting-- we knocked on the door and were greeted immediately by friendly staff. Super clean, brightly colored art everywhere. My bf was able to wait in their sitting area/upstairs during my sessions. Mochi and I spent 40~ mins reviewing the tattoo designs before finalizing size and placement. I really appreciated that she considered how the pieces would flow best with my other tattoos and was very receptive to feedback. Actual tattooing for each took around 1-1.5 hrs (3~ hours total) Both pieces turned out better than I imagined. They've healed quickly and I've received so many positive comments on them already. I would highly recommend Mochi for fine line work for both her skill and care. She honestly went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable. read more

This is my second piece from Lo, but first time at this location. Easy to get to from Civic Center BART. The shop is clean, airy and lots of natural light. I also appreciated that the shop windows and door were opaque so you don't have to worry about passers-by peaking in and it's appointment only, so you have your artist's full attention. Just like last time, Lo was excellent! We discussed the design prior to the appointment and she had it ready to go. Lo was super patient and gave me time to be totally happy with the size, placement, and last minute details. All in, the appointment was around 2 hours and I absolutely love the piece. Would highly recommend Cloud 95 and Lo in particular for floral and fine line work. read more

My mom & I got tattooed by Lo a couple of weeks ago! I've been tattooed by Lo five times, and she is always incredible! Her line work is always super clean and sharp, and her florals turn out awesome. She takes time to make sure you're happy with the placement and know what things will be happening during the appointment. It was also my mom's first tattoo, and Lo was great. Lo is amazing. I have had two pieces by them and I can't wait for a future piece. Both are x-ray flowers and Lo approaches the work with expertise and care. Lo knows that each person comes into their space with a deep story around the art and what brought us there. I felt held generously and safely and free to do-create that manifest in a beautiful piece of art and genuine connection. Thanks Lo! read more

This was my first tattoo and the entire experience with Lo at Cloud95 was excellent! Starting with some back and forth on my self-designed tattoo, Lo provided some great input to make it better. We spent a lot of time making sure it was placed exactly where I wanted it on my arm and Lo's patience was much appreciated. The post appointment follow up was also great and I could not be more pleased with how everything turned out. Easy to find location, parking was easy, and the shop was inviting and buzzing. I am already planning my next tattoo with Lo and cannot wait to see the final results! I highly recommend. read more

I had been thinking about a poppy tattoo for at least two years, searching for an artist whose fine line and black-and-gray shading style matched the vision I had in mind. When I came across Lo's Instagram, I was immediately drawn to her incredible x-ray flower tattoo work, and I knew I had found the right artist. From the very beginning, Lo was attentive, collaborative, and patient. I shared my general aesthetic, and she worked with me to refine the sizing and placement, ensuring the tattoo would complement my inner bicep perfectly. Even after we settled on the number of flowers, I asked for an additional design comparison, and she was more than accommodating--never making me feel rushed or like I was asking too much. On the day of my appointment, Lo had three sizing options prepared, giving me a clear sense of how each would look in the space. She stayed true to my vision while also offering her expert advice, making sure the final design would not only look amazing but also age beautifully. Throughout the session, she explained every step--from the design process to the shading techniques to aftercare--so I felt completely comfortable and confident. What truly sets Lo apart is her ability to make her clients feel seen and heard. She took my ideas seriously, respected my input, and created something that exceeded my expectations. On top of that, she followed up with me two weeks later to check on the healing process, which shows how much she cares about her work and her clients. I couldn't be happier with my tattoo, and I will 100% be coming back to Lo for my next one. If you're looking for an artist with incredible skill, professionalism, and a genuine passion for what they do, Lo is it! read more

BROW LAMINATION & DYE- TINY TATT- NO LASER!!! TATTOO REMOVAL Can I just say CIPRIANA is the literal BEST! She is literally a master at her brow craft. She gave me a brow lamination and dye that left me shook. I've never seen my brows look this good. SO for tattoo removal process. I've had two sessions so far, and already I can tell that my old tattoo is starting to break apart a bit. We have a few more sessions to go, but we are on track to reach our goal to have it be light enough for an artist to do a cover up! Who couldnt resist a cute tiny tatt! I got a cloud with some sparkles and I love the delicate line work and minimal design. Definitely want to get more cute tiny tatts. Seriously don't hesitate to ask any questions about receiving any service from Cip, shes easy to talk to and is super honest about the entire process. TATTOO FROM MAGGIE I got a Autumn Flower bouquet tattoo from maggie 4 years ago and honestly it's one of my most complimented tattoos. The colors have lasted so long and the art work is seriously so bright and gorgeous! Also maggie is the cutest and sweetest person ever! I was so thrilled to find out she opened her own studio! Cipriana is an amazing talent and an even better person. I have been seeing her over the past year for Li-Ft brow removal to remove a microblading-gone-wrong brow tattoo (from a different artist). She has been extremely helpful with the process, as it isn't a 'quick fix' in my case. She is friendly, extremely knowledgeable in her craft and a delight to be around. I have been through five sessions with her, and I cannot wait for this old ink to fade enough so that she can do a coverup (slowly but surely getting there)! She is the ginger queen and cannot wait for that on my face. Her new location in Sf has been really nice to go to (the space is beautiful) and parking was only scarce once. read more

She did this piece for me through rough ideas i gave her and absolutely knocked it out of the park with bringing my vague ideas to life and i'm absolutely in love with it! Maggie is very gentle and makes you feel so comfortable during the experience and has a very comfortable table and cushions in her shop, which is honestly the cutest and aesthetically pleasing shop i've been in all the way down to the cute customer bathroom! during the tattoo i felt she was really gentle and light handed while still getting really precise crispy lines! and her set up is immaculate and very thorough and hygienic! i trust her with my tattoo needs and can't wait to have her work all over me! read more
