If you come with an open mind and a thirst for conversation, Rick will deliver. Perhaps, judging by some of the reviews here, not the best place to be if you are already set in your ways. But that is not advice that is borne from my experience in his shop, so take that as you will. Rick's shop has a personal touch and cozy feel that I feel is generally really lacking in most places in the tri-cities, and is something I missed from some of the boutique establishments I've chanced upon in my travels all over the united states. Rare places like these are a foothold of culture that differentiates a town from just a concentrated collection of strip malls and pre-fabricated homes. It should be appreciated and preserved for what it is. Rick clearly runs this business because he loves it, not JUST to make a buck.
