I've been to many other spas around the Phoenix area, and Could Nine is my favorite. They offer a beautiful and calming spa environment, and offer very reasonable prices! I've received European facials, hot stone pedicures and the Swedish massage, and all the technicians have been very professional, kind, and great at what they do. My favorite treatment is the facial, though. The treatment rooms are set at a nice comfortable temperature, plus they offer arm and hand massage. Not sure what the heck P.A. is talking about, I think he/she just had a bad experience, but rest assured you won't be disappointed if you go to the above 2 people. After our first magnificent experience last December at cloud 9 spa my family and I decided to have another spa day. Each of us received a facial and Swedish message. The facials (performed by Ferri and Zara) were AMAZING! great great service, they were personable and each of our treatments was fantastic. The messages... Not so much, in fact, quite the opposite. One person in my party did not receive her full 50 minutes of the 50 minute message. Another felt the masseuse took more time tucking her in then performing the message, and I felt like my back was getting rubbed instead of massaged. The girl who preformed my message was a bit awkward and didn't seem like she knew what she was doing - maybe she just graduated from school, I'm not sure. But needless to say, we will not be getting massages at cloud 9 any more. I will be going back for a facial from Zara. If we just got facials I would give 5 stars, however because we also got the massages, I am giving 3 stars. read more

Would give zero stars if possible. And just to be clear this is aimed at the owner and schedulers, not at the stylists. My original stylist did an amazing job with intricate fashion colors. I had an appt for July 1st (took time off work) because I had to be back in office July 12th and it had been about 6 weeks since my last appt. They called to say my stylist was out due to injury which is 100% understandable but I asked if someone could squeeze me in because I had to be back in office soon. Scheduled for July 10th. Got there, sat down with the stylist, and she said "I don't know why they scheduled you with me, I don't know how to do this and I don't have time for this." I was super upset because I drove all the way over there and my hair was not going to be up to par for my return to work. Got the we're so sorry let's reschedule. Rescheduled for July 14th with my original stylist. Get a call on the 13th saying she would be out and her next availability wouldn't be until July 28th. At this point I'm desperate to get my hair taken care of so I said I would take the next available with whoever was available who could do my hair. I triple checked with the scheduler that this appointment was with someone who knew how my hair was and that could actually do it. They assured me there would be no problems this time. Cut to this morning I show up for my appt (took time off of work again) and the stylist is completely lost. At this point I am willing to change my entire hair color because I am tired of no one being able to freshen up the colors. She comes back with the owner and it's decided the stylist doesn't feel comfortable freshening up my colors and doesn't have time to do my hair a different way. There was no solution offered other than the owners exact words of "I am at a loss." I could forgive the first two reschedules because of injury and them not knowing how intricate my hair was, but after being there and having two stylists, front desk people, and the owner see my hair there was no excuse for today. I loved this salon and am saddened by their mistakes and won't be returning. read more

Let me start that my facial and massage was great. My skin looks refreshed and my massage therapist did a great job at releasing tension. What really bugged me is I paid for a 3 hour package and only received two hours. I started at 1:05pm and ended at 3:10pm. It should of ended at 4pm. I asked the front desk why it was shorter than was expected, and the reason was they "round up". And the scrub is 15min. If you know the scrub is 15min, then why advertise as a 3 hour service. I am a licensed esthetician and LMT. I do these exact same services at my place of work, I usually have the client the full 3 hours on table. I have never ended early, especially not by an hour. They also don't do intake forms or any consultation, which is usually a reason less time on table but none of that was done. I feel a little cheated. Almost as if money was taken from me. Our friend also ended an hour early, as she was already in the waiting room when I came out, and she was the bachelorette. I don't blame the employees, I blame the company for false advertising. I was going to book another spa day for my bday in August and decided not to. read more

Beware of this salon!!! I have been to a number of stylists there for hair cut and color. Some were not bad, but some were not great. The good stylists all leave within a few months of working there. The management of the salon over books the stylists. All appointments start late. They even booked someone over my last (and final) appointment due to illness of another stylists. I LOVE this place. Every service I have had as been stellar. Lee has been cutting my hair for almost 2 years now and I love everything she does. I go with a picture and come out with the cut that's almost identical. She also colors my hair and I have never been unhappy. I go to Nikki or Abby for my nails. They are both fantastic and give great manicures and pedicures. I wouldn't go any where else. I went to cloud 9 and was very nervous. I was going from really dark to wanting gradual lightning. I explained to Tina what I wanted and she nailed it. I was nervous about the cut and it was apparent she knows what she is doing. She told me she was from New York and has been doing hair for 27 years. She's awesome! Nikki was amazing at massage and Ginger as well at facials. However, the manicures/pedicures here are terrible. The girl I had did exactly what I would have done at home and when I asked why she didn't use the dry skin pincher thing she said "it scares me." I received the worst shellac manicure of my life, so bad I had someone remove it 5 minutes after I got it. Go here to be pampered but go somewhere else for mani/pedis. read more
