I've been shopping here for at least 15 years. The store is always well stocked with a variety of quality designer handbags, shoes and clothing that look like new. You can choose from plenty of racks packed with casual garments like jeans & button down tops or go for the high-end labels section. Soon as I walk in the door, it's a treasure hunt. I know, I'm going home with something special and faboulous. There really is something here for everybody. Great inventory, fairly priced and the staff is always so friendly and helpful. Couldn't wait to go to Clothes Circuit when I visited Dallas after moving a year ago, and what a difference a year makes. This is not just upscale resale but a beautiful specialty store. So much easier to shop the great merchandise since they have departmentalized the store. Clear signing tells you where everything is so you can find what you want. As always, with resale shops, timing is everything. I could score one day and find nothing the next. But i had my teen who needed a formal gown and other items. SELLER BEWARE! When you consign items with Clothes Circuit, you sign a contract that you agree that the store is not responsible for any lost or stolen items. In June, I took in a pair of Gucci sunglasses in the original case with cleaning cloth, worn maybe once or twice. The original value was around $325. In August, while in the area, I stopped in the store to see if the sunglasses had sold. They were not in the display case. I went to the back consignment area and an employee looked up my account and stated that the item had not yet been tagged. (That employee is no longer working there.) Then another employee went to the screen and said oh yes they should be out on the floor. We all went to the front to look, and they were nowhere to be found. I was told they would look further and call me back. Over a week passed, and I wound up calling them back. They then had the consignment manager call me back the next day. The manager told me that, because they could not locate my glasses, they would credit my account $30.87. She said they list those types of glasses around $96 and they gave me credit on my account! for the first markdown price!! 30.87 for a pair of virtually new designer sunglasses that I trusted them to sell. Because I can no longer conduct business with a business that is so careless, I requested a check. Be aware that your items may get "lost" or "stolen" between the consignment area in the back and the front of the store! read more

Clothes Circuit has definitely ruined the retail shopping experience for me. Why pay retail when you can get multiple designer items for less! This place is fabulous! True it does not play hip music, employees are older and maybe not as patient, the store is older and the selections can be over whelming. But for someone that loves to treasure hunt this is the perfect place for scoring great finds! I went to Clothes Circuit the other day and have never been treated so rudely. I was completely ignored and treated like I was nothing. When I went to try clothes on there was no one in the back but a sign that asked for you to wait for assistance. Since no one was there to assist I went to the front to ask for assistance. When I walked up to the counter to ask for a fitting room, the older lady in the front looked at me and said, "huh?". I repeated my question and she just told me to go in a room. When I went to pay, there were two ladies in the front, one being the older lady, and again was ignored. Too bad the jacket I liked was such a good deal or I would have left it. Another lady named Gayle assisted me. I thought she was going to be respectful but I was sadly mistaken. After she smittenly told me the jacket wasn't on sale (ummm...I don't remember asking if it was??) she took my credit card from me to ring the jacket, and instead of handing the card back to me or laying it on the counter, she threw it at me. She barley buttoned the jacket on the hanger and rudely asked if I wanted plastic put over it. I declnied since I wanted to leave ASAP. I work in a well known luxury boutique here in Dallas. I saw many of our pieces in that store and they were all chained down. Clearly they know nice designers but that doesn't give anyone the right to act the way they did. The company that I work for thrives on customer service and we treat everyone with respect. It doesn't matter what race you are or how much money you may or may not have. It's obvious to me that race and so called "status" matters to them. It's so sad that they are so judgmental and catty. Needless to say, I will not return nor recommend this store to anyone. read more

So I made my first trip to Clothes Circuit yesterday, and all I can say is "Wow!!" For a pretty discriminating clothing/accessory demographic, this place is packed from floor to ceiling with everything from Gap/Banana Republic to Versace/Oscar delaRenta. I found some beautiful Louis Vuitton shoes for only $200, but I didn't buy them, I was looking for more Tory Burch flats, which I found....just not in my size. That only means I will have to keep returning to this place. I will agree with some of the other reviewers that the place is a bit drab, a bit older kind of crowd, but that doesn't bother me. That means the lady next to me at the register probably won't want the same styles that I do. I spent over an hour there, because it's so big it really takes some time to get through most of it. I spent most of my time drooling, specifically over the Hermes scarves and the $14,000 Birkin bag (O.M.G. what a price for a $75,000+ bag!!) but I did find some cute tops, which I wasn't expecting, since I was kind of in a shoe/scarf mood. Found a White House Black Market sequin black top, and a lululemon racerback top, each under $25.00. I WILL be returning, probably every payday, to see what I can score with my leftover paycheck. read more

Well after seeing my review didn't make the cut, I thought I would review Clothes Circuit again. Reviews after all is what Yelp is all about right? So maybe this one will make the cut. If I weren't so passionate about being treated well at ANY store, I wouldn't waste my time. Clothes Circuit CONSISTENTLY makes me feel like I'm not welcome. This is not my imagination or has nothing to do with them personally, just my review of how I'm treated EVERY time I've gone in the store. Other people who have experienced the same can write their own review. I stick to this. I have waited tables, worked in retail, you name it. I know good/bad customer service when I see it. Doesn't take away from some of the great finds. Just MY experience with staff. By all means shop there. I think you will find some great designer items at decent prices. Hopefully they will get their act together and realize, it's about more than offering a good product. Competition is fierce.....step up your game. It occurs to me every now and then that some establishments want to remain "exclusive". Fine by me. I will not patronize this store. read more

This was the first time I have dealt with Clothes Circuit, though I have done fine business with the other high end resale stores in North Dallas. I will never return! Numerous complaints: BE SURE you find out what they are going to mark your items, before you hand them over, and sign! Mine were sold so low that I was stunned - and they were sold quickly. (Even showing my purchase receipts later, they would not work with me.) Their explanation was that "It is not Designer".... though, there was no mention of this criteria in the contract, or upon check in. (I trusted them to put a fair price on two beautiful brand new tote bags.The totes were hand sewn with hundreds of tiny mirrors, detailed artistic embroidery, numerous patchwork fabrics and fully lined inside. I ordered them from abroad - there is nothing I have seen like them in the Dallas stores.) Evidently, Clothes Circuit gives no merit for craftsmanship and beauty unless it has a particular "label" sewn to it. My other complaints of this place include: cramped, messy and unorganized take in area which is operated by miserable and exhausted looking employees. read more

I've been shopping and consigning for about 25 years (before consignment and resale was "cool") and this store is hands down one of the best I've found anywhere. This place has been in business for 30+ years and is a Dallas landmark. I know so many women (several from out of state) who come to Dallas just to shop here or rush to this store if they have a layover at one of the airports. The employees here are now like family and many of them have worked there for 10+ years which says a lot about a business. Plus, the owner, Irene is one of the nicest people around and an incredible small business owner who built this place from the ground up. Adelaide (the manager) is also one of the most helpful, sweetest and thoughtful women I've ever known. I've found so many incredible things here (many with the retail tags still attached) and have also consigned many of my own gently owned high end designer pieces as well. It's like a completely new store every time I'm there and everyone who works there is so friendly, enthusiastic, helpful and most importantly, honest. I know that I'll never purchase and leave there with something that isn't flattering on me because if you ask their opinion about how something looks on you, you know they're telling you the truth, whether it's good or "that piece doesn't do you justice." I think that's so much better than so many places who will tell you what you want to hear or tell you that it's perfect on you just to make a sale. They want you to look your best. I attend many functions, luncheons and social events so it's critical that I have quite a few amazing things to choose from. I also love that they have tags that are noted with the future dates that the piece will be further discounted. I will say this: if you see something, get it then. In the past, there have been a couple of times that I've decided to wait and think about something and when I go back, it's already been sold to someone else. Sometimes, it's happened in less than an hour. Once, it was 30 minutes. Another time, a woman standing next to me said "if you decide that you don't want that, I'll buy it." Also, they have layaway which is so nice if you have a lot of items that you don't need for a while and you have the option of paying them off over time. Thank you to Clothes Circuit to making consignment so much fun and for enabling so many women to be even more beautiful than they already are for a fraction of the price. read more

Amazing! Great designer clothes, shoes, handbags, and accessories for pretty decent prices!! Found a spectacular $800 Burberry coat for $150 and a Louis Vuitton for $300 as compared to $700-900...if you ask me, darn good price and prestine condition. This shop has an impeccable selection of items and you will not be disappointed. TRUST ME. Wouldn't quite suggest it for people on a very low budget, but the sales are amazing for designer duds!! You can certainly find many articles for under $50 in addition to high end pieces. So whatever your budget, give this place a look!! read more

I have traveled worldwide extensively, and always search out the local consignment shops. Hands down the best second-hand shop that I have ever been to is Clothes Circuit. They have a huge selection of brands, I love their pricing and markdown methods, and the service is exceptional! This store gets only one star for the clothes. Yes, they are pricey but sometimes you can find good deals. However, the customer service sucks. Employees do not speak when visitors come into the store and do not offer assistance. When you walk into the door, the employees turn their heads because they do not want you to shop there. I have NEVER experienced the atmosphere of this shop ANYWHERE! These workers are older women that have not gotten a clue over the years. The owner lives in another state and probably just watches the store profits. I am not one to write reviews but I have to in this case. So many have got to be turned off by the vibe and just don't return. I do not want to give my hard earned money to these haggy snobs. This place sucks. They will tow you if you park in their spaces and don't go in the store! After parking near the store, I was going to grab a sandwich then go into the store. They have a guy in the parking lot just watching to make sure you don't park in their spaces. He said he'd have me towed if I didn't go in the store right away. I won't EVER go in there again. Funny that there's never any cars in the lot anyway. read more
