I have to admit that I never thought that I would be renting a storage unit but between the…read morerenovations of my home and all the excess marketing materials for my job and projects, I needed one fast or my loft was going to resemble an episode of hoarders. I chose this location due to the close proximity to my home and overall convenience. I became a bit frustrated when I initially called in for some information on pricing and availability of units, the lady who answered was friendly but I never received a call back from the manager as she promised. Since I needed a unit immediately, I popped by the office a few days later and was offered great customer service, clear information on pricing and policies, and made a $10 deposit on a 10X10 unit. I pay around $115 for a 3rd floor unit (no heating/ac) which also allows for package and shipment deliveries and access to the facility from 9am - 9pm. If you opt to pay another $10 a month, you can have access for 24/7 too. The nice thing about this place is you don't have to commit to any complicated contracts as it is billed monthly. Easy breezy! You pay a $25 administrative fee when you commit to renting but this also includes a lock with 3 sets of keys. Overall, this location appears safe and accommodating which are pretty much my basic requirements for a storage unit. TIP: They sell boxes here. Oodles of them. TIP: Check out their website for any special promotions or deals! I was able to save $5 a month due to doing a little research! Every dollar counts, right?

I like that it is controlled access for both in and out, and each building has flat hand trucks for your use at the entrances. A nice thoughtful touch.

Public Storage on McNally is a great spot not only for storage, but also for bands to rehearse and…read morerecord. For about a year, my band split a storage space with a couple of other local bands, and I quickly realized we weren't the only group with that idea. Our storage space was indoors, and all throughout the hall you could hear the sounds of gospel, rock and hip hop acts rehearsing. For our carpeted space (which was about 15'x20') we paid a total of $300 a month. We were also able to leave our equipment there, knowing it would be safe and sound in the heavily locked facility. Public Storage has a gate that requires a security code for entry, and there is always someone in the front office keeping an eye on things. They have a cargo elevator and a dolly for everyone to use, and there is typically plenty of room for parking. While I used the space for band practice, I wouldn't hesitate to use it for personal storage.

Do not store your belongings here if you plan to be away or rely on stable pricing. When I signed…read moreup, the rate seemed reasonable. Two months later, while I was literally across the globe, my monthly cost was increased by over 100% with no notification. I had previously requested to lower my insurance coverage to reduce the rate, and I even signed the form to do so, but that adjustment was never applied. When I finally noticed the massive charge and contacted them, I was told I would have to either cancel insurance entirely or continue paying the inflated price. The issue isn't the dollar amount. It's the principle of raising rates significantly without notifying customers and making it difficult to adjust coverage that was already agreed to. It feels predatory, especially for anyone who is out of town or in a situation where checking every monthly statement isn't immediate. To be clear, the staff I spoke with were professional when I finally got someone on the phone. But the pricing practices here are the problem. If you store your belongings here longer than a couple of months, expect your rate to spike and to have to chase down explanations. I would strongly caution anyone considering long-term storage at this location. The business model appears to rely on increasing rates once you're already locked in.

She remembered seeing Leeville Pike Storage on her way to Vanderbilt Women's Center so we gave them a call. We had a great experience with Queen! She then went over how to access the storage unit, followed by text instructions. The location is easy to find. No issues with the gate code. Buildings are marked and instruction signs in appropriate places. The green plastic tag was broken but the brand-new lock was still inside. Clean unit and property, monitored by security cameras throughout. Rent is comparable to other storage places but they had a promo that saved us on the first month.

My daughter rented a storage unit on Saturday assuming we would need it for her move into a smaller apartment. On Sunday evening we realized we would not need the unit, no promptly on Monday morning we stopped by the storage facility and explained what happened. The woman at the counter said there is no way to cancel the contract for the month. She called her husband to ask if there was an option and he said no. He was not on site to speak with me. He stated That they are keeping the $95 and there will be no refund. We never went in the unit and I am so disappointed that this company has no flexibility when someone makes an honest error. Then when she closed out the account she kept the $10 security deposit because I did not give 5 days notice. Seriously, the unit is paid for for a month and they are keeping the $10 security deposit plus the $95?? I also found out she closed it out with today's date so if my daughter wanted to use it this month she can not, even though it is paid for. I asked why she didn't mention the 5 day notice and she said , she didn't think about it. So I said please reverse the close out and I'll give you a 5 day notice now. She then took $10 out of her purse and gave it to me. So this company has my daughters $95 AND can rent the unit to someone else. In hindsight I should have canceled in a month so they can't collect twice for the same unit. I would suggest you do not do business with a company that is inflexible.
