    BEWARE After nearly…read moretwo years as a customer with zero prior issues, I had an experience that was not just unprofessional--it made me feel unsafe. I was parked in an area I have used countless times before. When I returned, a golf cart was deliberately blocking my primary vehicle. I calmly asked the man sitting nearby to move it so I could leave. His response was, "I'll get to it. I've been waiting for you all day, so you can wait," followed by, "I am the assistant manager. If you don't like it, go store your stuff somewhere else." When I returned to my primary vehicle, I noticed he parked his vehicle so close to my driver-side door, that I could barely get into my car, effectively preventing me from leaving for a second time. Within minutes, another individual arrived on property and entered his residence. While I was trying to process what happened, they drove past me at a high rate of speed. At no point should a customer feel blocked in, threatened, or fearful for their safety--especially by someone who identifies themselves as management and lives on-site with access to tenants' belongings and personal information. I reported this incident on the corporate website and spoke with management the next business day. No one followed up. I strongly urge anyone considering this facility to think carefully. Allowing an employee to behave this way without accountability is deeply troubling

I'm a federal employee directly impacted by the current government shutdown, which has left me without income through no fault of my own. I'm currently three months behind on payments due to financial difficulties, and the shutdown has made my situation even more dire. I contacted Erica hoping to arrange a payment plan and offered to make a good faith payment to demonstrate my commitment to settling my account once the government reopens and I receive back pay. Unfortunately, Extra Space Storage refused to work with me and plans to auction my unit on November 12th if I cannot pay in full--which is impossible given that I have no paycheck coming in during the shutdown. I'm struggling to afford groceries, let alone storage fees. It's disheartening that a national company would show zero compassion for federal workers caught in circumstances completely beyond their control. I understand businesses have policies, but the inability to offer any flexibility during a government shutdown affecting thousands of employees speaks volumes about their priorities. I am extremely disappointed once again by another business that is basically a scam. Once upon a time I was extremely grateful to find this place, but now it is now one of my deepest regrets.
