Walking in, I saw the sidewalk sign with the specials written. I chose 2 from that. The Peach Margarita sounded good, as did the Shrimp Enchiladas. I sat at the bar and the nice bartender got me a water and made my drink. The peach flavor was good. I felt it could have used a bit more tequila. The entree was good. I liked the fresh lettuce and tomato. The refried beans and cheese sauce was good. All in all, there was nothing that would bring me back. It was an okay Mexican restaurant. I've had better.

While we rarely base a restaurant on the aesthetics, we were pleasantly surprised at the menu and more importantly the food quality itself. Upon getting to our seats we immediately ask the table next to us what they enjoyed. The fajitas were a huge hit and that is what we both ordered. Shrimp, beef, and chicken or all tender juicy and flavorful. The shrimp, especially, we're not overdone. That's a huge separator when it comes to fajitas. The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. Do yourself a favor and make a beeline this little Oasis in the sleepy little town of Worthington, Ohio. You'll be glad you did!

He takes your order and makes your food fresh! Fajita nachos Al Pastor with a Victoria beer. The Victoria draft came out in a frosty mug and it was cold cold. Yes!! As I'm waiting for my food, more customers start coming in. Made me feel better lol. I swear the music playing is a recording of a DJ at a wedding lol. Out come the nachos and they look amazing. He also brings a little stand for my cell phone so I can eat and watch YouTube. Never have I had that offered to me at any restaurant. His hustle, service and smile was appreciated. The nachos were really good. The marinated pork, cheese sauce, fresh chips, chunks of pineapple, sour cream and salsa verde just came together well. Bonus points for the cheese sauce. Not to mention I watched him prepare everything thru the glass counter. He's back there having fun then brings your food out with a smile. Love it. If it were super busy I don't know how he would keep up, but I appreciate his hustle. Yelp, your recommendation didn't disappoint. This was different than your typical sit down, chips and salsa, margarita special, blah blah experience. This was Cozumel in June, cruising around in the side-by-side, Oh look a cool roadside taco spot with an open center courtyard type of vibe. Minus the open courtyard. Check them out!

YE Gurl Says: Some Food Is Worth the Extra 30 Minutes at Cilantro Latin Fusion…read more Some recommendations stick with you. I was first introduced to Cilantro Latin Fusion by a fellow Yelper who also happens to be a former chef. When someone with that kind of palate tells you, "You need to try this," you listen. She ordered me the Vegan Arepa, and I'm not exaggerating when I say...It changed my life. Fast forward to a day off while I was running errands on that side of town. The craving hit, so I pulled up my phone to order. Only one problem. I was minutes away from the food truck... but online ordering was only available through the Sawmill Road restaurant. Thirty minutes away. But I did not turn around. I drove for the meal. Walking into the restaurant, I was greeted by Spanish conversations filling the room, families enjoying lunch, and an atmosphere that felt authentic and lived-in. I'm pretty sure everyone assumed I was picking up for Uber Eats. LOL Well maybe the curly hair had them a bit confused. Every bag in my hands was for me. And honestly, that's one of my favorite kinds of places--the restaurants where the local community clearly supports them first. That's usually a very good sign. Here's what came home with me: Vegan Arepa Filled with sautéed king oyster mushrooms, sweet fried plantains, avocado, and their addictive green sauce. This is the sandwich that started it all for me. The mushrooms bring a satisfying, meaty texture without pretending to be meat, while the sweetness of the plantains balances the creamy avocado and bright sauce perfectly. Back to Life Arepa Loaded with their seafood cocktail and avocado mash. Fresh, flavorful, and exactly the kind of seafood-forward option I appreciate as a pescatarian. Chaufa Lunch Bowl Peruvian-style fried rice with sesame oil, king oyster mushrooms, vegetables, sweet plantains, and yuca fries. Comfort food with layers of flavor. I devoured the lunch bowl immediately. The arepas? I brought those home for the beau. One disappeared at lunch. The second became dinner alongside the fries and soup. Nothing survived the day. YE Gurl Insight: Some restaurants don't need flashy marketing because the food does all the talking. You can tell when a place is cooking for its community first instead of chasing trends. Those are usually the places worth seeking out. Final Take: * Incredible vegetarian and seafood options * Authentic Latin flavors * Excellent value for the portions * Worth the drive--even if it's 30 minutes * One of Columbus' hidden gems for arepas YE Gurl Says: If you've never had an arepa, let Cilantro Latin Fusion be your introduction. Order the Vegan Arepa. Then order another one... because someone at home is probably going to ask for a bite.

We asked to be moved to the patio and were moved right away but I'm not sure your choice online actually matters. I ordered chips and queso (chips and salsa is complimentary!), a skinny margarita, and the burrito grande. The chips are hot, fresh, and delicious! The queso had amazing flavor, I do wish it was slightly thicker but that may just be personal preference. The skinny margarita was the perfect amount of lime, sweetness, and just strong enough on the tequila. And the burrito grande was... MASSIVE! Like twice the size of my head lol. But it was so good!!! The carnitas had great flavor, the potatoes were crispy, and we even asked for hot sauce and were given what looked like two different house made sauces that were soooo good. The burrito is also a steal at $13 as it lasted me for 3 meals! Can't wait for it to be warm again, I'll definitely be coming back! The patio space is perfect for the warmer weather!

The place was mostly empty at this time, but slowly filled as it approached dinner time, signifying it is popular in the area. I would say I enjoyed the visit overall. My margarita was tasty, the chips and salsa were great, and the queso was fantastic. The downside was the service. We told the waiter, who asked us immediately upon arrival if we wanted drinks, that we needed a few minutes to look things over. It took him 10-15 minutes to return to us to take drink orders, which was crazy considering the restaurant was empty. He also barely checked on us throughout the evening, as we had to signal to someone else that we were out of chips. Like I said, I would return here for food and drinks as they were great, but the slow and inattentive service would make me choosy with the times of day I would go and who I would go with.

My brother and I both ordered the shrimp taco dinner ($15.95) that came with a choice of side. The tacos were good but could have been much better as there was just way too much salsa. All we could taste was salsa and it was a little sweet and oddly enough, it had broccoli in it. If they added one more shrimp and cut back to just a tablespoon of salsa on each taco, they would have given it a much more balanced flavor and texture profile. This was a bunt, not a grand slam... El Vaqueros are all pretty much the same, and this one is no different. Could have been 4 stars but ended up as 3.
