I am basing my review on comparisons with other Simon Premium Outlets and the nearby Tanger outlet.Good points followed by bad. First the good points 1)The buildings and the grounds were nicely maintained; 2) plenty of fast food options were available 3) many high end retailers ( Polo, Coach, and Sak's) have stores here. The bad 1) the outlet is spread out in two sections connected by a bridge which makes walking a chore on an oppressively hot or extremely cold day (I visited on the former); 2) lack of variety of merchandise (with the exception of Yankee Candle I noticed no home or gift stores); 3) smaller Premium outlet than others I had visited; and 4) unlike Wrentham, MA location no table service restaurants. In closing, the 2 stars are my opinion because the bad points out weighed the good in what I look for in outlet shopping. In all fairness this outlet is close by to a Tanger outlet which may explain why the center is smaller than other Premium Outlets. read more

I definitely prefer Clinton Crossings over Tanger Westbrook. The layout here for the flow of shoppers is better and the food trucks that are usually there are fantastic. The store selection is better here as well. As other reviewers have said, the coupon book does not offer great deals, even when you're a 'VIP'. However, as a frequent shopper at Tanger Outlets in Riverhead, NY, Clinton doesn't compare. Tanger Riverhead is larger than both Westbrook and Clinton Crossings combined. read more

Good place but not a ton of stores. A lot of the stores are not "outlets" that sell things cheap, they're just normal company stores trying to gouge you. The layout is a little odd with a second building a 1/4 mile walk away. It is always very clean with good parking though read more

I love coming here during the week. I avoid the weekends because it get crowded and seems like it's Christmas all over again. I like going to Off 5th, The Cosmetic Store (the reason why I go here) and Banana Republic. Good stuff on sale! Oh and Coach had a 65% off sale and ended up buying 3 bags. read more

The Clinton Crossing Premium Outlets are pretty nice in that the stores located here are a lot of the ones I tend to shop at. It is hard for me to truly love this outlet because I used to live next to the Premium Outlets in Orlando, FL and those are pretty hard to beat. However, Clinton Crossing offers a lot of the same brand stores without the tourist chaos in Orlando. The mall is split into two sections which is probably the thing I like the least about this mall. Sometimes I just can't be bothered to walk all the way down to the section that has Nike. I do like the Off Saks Fifth, you can always get a good bargain there. My most recent obsession is Kate Spade so it's nice that they have a store here. I was able to get a super cute new passport cover today for a good price. You can't go wrong visiting here, but I guess that's just a shopaholic's opinion. read more

Went into Michael Kors at this outlet and they people inside were so nice. A few employees approached me and my aunt while we were in there. We didn't feel the pressure to purchase anything, and I felt that they were every informed. My aunt ended up getting a purse and my aunt got me a cosmetic case. The stores here are more high-end, that's why I went with 3 stars. I would have done 5, but 99% of the stores are pricier than I'm able to afford. Wish there were more outlet stores that weren't as high end. read more

I love Off 5th at this outlet center. You can really great some great deals here, especially when it comes to designer jeans, suit separates, and accessories. I buy sevens and tue religion jeans for half the price of retail stores and you obviously do not have to worry about authenticity. They have tons of different styles and sizes. They also carry my absolute favorite clothing line...Theory. Again at a great deal. What I have not had much luck with are the shoes...they tend to be pretty funky and far from everyday wear type of shoes...but thats where the cole haan outlet comes in handy! read more

We visited this outlet last night in order to visit the Coach store. As it was New Years Day and there were steep discounts, there was predictably a line to the registers. I found the staff to be friendly and we passed the time easily. After our visit to the Coach store was complete, we decided to walk around the outlet to see what else they had the offer. Unfortunately, most of the other stores did not seem as popular as they were fairly quiet especially the jewelry stores. We'll most likely visit again when the weather is warmer. read more

Another "place to stop" while travelling the concrete ribbon. My entire family was present - EVERYONE found SOMETHING to purchase as a genuine bargain !! I will say that the help in every store we stopped in was very friendly - not pushy but helpful. Bathrooms were clean which is always nice. They might be shy a few benches to sit on for comfort on a hot summer day but they do a good job of taking care of this facility. read more

I think this outlet is ok I didn't really find a lot of things that I liked there were maybe a couple of stores that I liked and others I didn't really find anything. The good thing was that the workers were very friendly and always greet you with a smile and a humble hello I would return to Clinton Crossings outlet. read more

I love Clinton Crossing, it has great deals, nice atmosphere, very chill at least early in the morning. I received awesome deals at Adidas 50% on shoes already discounted. I live in the area and visit Clinton Crossing several times a year.Excellent stores,very good sales when you catch them.Very helpful office staff.Great place to spend a warm afternoon and have a dog or burger at the liitle outside stand and do some shopping.Bose store is my favorite the only one in Ct I believe.About 70 other stores too. read more

We went shopping here the other day. They have a great selection of outlets and the prices were pretty good for an outlet store. I think that the building and lot is getting run down a little bit. Its not as kept up as the outlet stores in Westbrook, which we enjoy coming to more. Still a solid place to go and its not to have many of the outlet stores local to us instead of having to drive so far. read more

this was not a good experience for me there. i was trying to find pac sun and got very lost. by the time i found it (around 9 o clock) they wouldnt let me in because they were closing the store. i couldnt find my way back to my car either. the open space was very confusing to me. i did find a vending Machine that sold soda's so thats why i am giving it two stars rating. i didnt get home until like 12 PM. would not reccomend read more

Nice mall, but is inconsiderate towards its retailers' employees. When there is 4+ inches of snow falling, it shouldn't take all day to make a decision about whether or not to close the mall. Every hour that employees within the stores are forced to stay, the roads get worse. Eventually these people have to drive home. What happens if they get into an accident on the way home? All because the mall was too selfish and needed to stay open for the whole TWO customers that are going to come shopping when its snowing. Mall management needs to get their heads on straight with this one. A couple dollars isn't worth all these employees lives. read more

Personally, I go for a few specific stores only. Enjoyed the Michael Kors and Coach stores this last visit. The makeup store could have been good if the sales associates were more helpful and interactive instead of so concentrated on arranging shelves before closing. I came to buy and left with nothing. But I did but at the Michael Kors and Coach stores. Both staffs were excellent. read more

These outlets have gone downhill! I was very disappointed in the shops except for a few. The restrooms are filthy!!!! The doors don't lock, there are no hooks for a coat or purse, no soap and sticky smelly floors! read more

Love this place! I try to come once a year along with Westbrook. If you skipped one, I'd skip Westbrook because this has some duplicate stores plus a lot more. If you need a purse, you have Coach, Dooney, Michael Kors, Kate Spade, plus all of the clothing stores like Calvin Klein. The cosmetic stores have very good deals, some brands are sold at professional discounts (I know because I qualify for them in regular stores). The only disappointment just like I found in Westbrook on this same trip was that the cute little cafe had closed. I don' know when because it was still listed on the directory as I walked in. There were just a few food stands outside but not what I wanted when it was a chilly 50 degrees and the metal benches outside were ice cold to sit on. I signed up for emails from stores I liked and had a 20% coupon for Calvin Klein (that I forgot to use!) The prices at all stores are excellent. If the price tag looks high, it's almost always because there is some deal like bogo half off or sometimes the clerks will offer you more. My big score yesterday was a Dooney & Bourke purse that was $230 and I paid $75 on clearance for it. Also, the entire Coach store was 60% off! Just, plan your meals better if you hit both outlets so you don't go 7 hours of shopping without eating like I did yesterday! The Adidas store is also a huge treat and often has bogo 50% off as they did yesterday. They also carry jerseys of their popular teams like Juventus and Real Madrid at a discount. Plus they have some official World Cup merchandise. read more
