I had a new radio for my antique vehicle, he needed to hook up several speakers, amplifier and antenna. He was able to finish the job in 3 hours. Some say not to change anything original on a classic car but I wanted an upgrade on the radio which should include Apple CarPlay where I could use apps like Waze, Google Maps, Bluetooth phone, etc. Also more importantly, a backup camera. After visiting a couple of other dealers that offered this service and told me they didn't want to take a chance working on my car, I discovered Russell's. He looked at the car and showed me the perfect unit. The only catch was the installation would require a bigger space that my current radio used. He did a perfect job. It actually looked like it was made to fit the width of the space and after enlarging the height of the space, no one would ever know it was a custom installation. All at a price that was well below what I expected. By the way, there was one issue that needed fixing and instead, he just replaced it.This is the first time I've posted a review. We were out antiquing and visiting consignment shops from Old Saybrook to Clinton today and…read morestumbled upon this gem, UNLOCKED TREASURES! The name was intriguing so we decided to shop. Wow, what a great shop! The store is very well ORGANIZED by size and super CLEAN. All the clothing looked brand new, very clean, and pressed. There are many high end brand names here. I saw the most beautiful pair of Karl Lagerfeld white pumps looking brand new and in the original box. If they had been my size I would have bought them on the spot! The shop owner, Correna, is genuinely kind; the kind of person you'd want for a friend. She pointed out various sales and was was very helpful. She has a Facebook page and an Instagram page for her boutique which I plan to visit right after leaving this review. Her store has women's fashions both formal and casual. There are also skirts, blouses, slacks, like-new shoes, and accessories. There is also a children's section and several cute household items. She is in the process of closing out a men's clothing section from which I bought 5 brand-new-looking, clean, and pressed men's shirts. The men's section is priced half off and when everything is sold there won't be any more men's clothing. So go NOW for some great bargains! I critique every place I visit very carefully and would highly recommend Unlocked Treasures to all ladies and young ladies. You won't be disappointed.

Generally I have positive experiences here. The cashiers are always nice and fast and the…read morepharmacist is patient when I have questions about possible interactions. But a few weeks ago I witnessed some disappointing behavior. One of the pharmacy techs (I assume it was a tech- she was working in the pharmacy but not the actual pharmacist) was extremely rude to an elderly woman. The tech yelled at the woman and then spoke loudly (and inappropriately) about her to a colleague. Everybody in the vicinity heard and I was heartbroken. And then last weekend their debit/credit system was down. I showed up to pick up two scripts and they couldn't ring me out. The tech was not helpful whatsoever and offered no solutions. I finally asked if it was possible to transfer my scripts as I needed them filled before leaving for the holidays. She rolled her eyes and said "I guess we can do that."

Normally, I don't tend to review apparel stores but my husband and I had such a good experience…read moretoday that I had to deviate from my normal reviews exclusively of restaurants to post this. First, the store is immaculate. Everything is in its own place and easy to navigate ... Even the shoe clearance area is well organized and I never have trouble locating shoes in my size (these areas are disasters at comparable stores). Today specifically though, we had such a great interaction at check-out. The gentleman (Mike, with glasses) was so helpful and made sure we maximized our shopping experience. He was courteous and patient and kind and my husband and I were so pleased with his customer service approach. It is by far the best customer service experience I have had at the Nike store in the many visits I have made. It just took my whole opinion of the store up a notch. My new Air Max sneakers and the little ones for my son also don't hurt the positive take-away either. Thanks Mike!
