Very upset. Made a reservation for a 20 ft Uhaul truck. I received confirmation that the truck was ready & available for pick up a day prior. My husband finishes work at 9pm - we get there at 9:30pm and they forgot to enable us to do mobile check in!!!! No 20 ft truck there. We tried calling for 45 minutes to get through to Uhaul customer service to get someone to help. Waiting in the dark being eaten alive by misquitos...Finally after an hour someone from Uhaul was able to help us. The only other truck available was an hour away - but we had to take it - as our movers will be here tomorrow morning at 5am....now we won't even get home until 1am. I rented a U-Haul truck from these guys over the weekend. It didn't go so well, although I don't think the fault is as much theirs as it is U-Haul's. Anyhow, here's the scoop: The guy who was there when I picked up the truck was nice enough - easy to work with. The truck, however, had several issues: 1. Trouble starting. I had to crank it for 30-40 seconds before it would turn over - but at least it did start each time I needed it to. Still, that was annoying. 2. Twice it lost power when cornering - when you are driving a fully-loaded 26' truck and you lose power steering going around a corner, it's a bit disconcerting, not to mention dangerous. 3. The key did not unlock the driver's door, so I had to climb in from the passenger's side - not a big deal, but still a maintenance issue that the customer shouldn't have to deal with. I would have overlooked these had I not also gotten screwed on the price. The website (where I made my reservation) said that the mileage rate was $.69/mile - when I got my contract e-mailed to me after the fact, it noted that I'd been charged $.79/mile. When I called to inquire, the excuse was "Well, the $.69 rate doesn't apply to Fridays or Saturdays." Really? Then how about putting that on the website? Nice bait-and-switch there. So, in summary - I got over charged for a poorly maintained death trap. Thanks for nothing U-Haul, I guess its back to Penske for me. I want to reiterate that the guy I dealt with at this location was super-nice, so this critique isn't directed towards him personally. In fact, had I not gotten jobbed on the price, I would have overlooked the truck's deficiencies because the gent I dealt with was so accommodating. But if you want to jerk me around on the price (looking at you, U-Haul), then I'm going to be vocal about informing other consumers about my experience. The truth is that I've heard the stories about the poor condition of U-Haul's trucks, and I was prepared for some issues - figuring, "Well, you get what you pay for." But when I get jacked around on the price and end up getting LESS than I paid for...well, then I gotta open my big mouth and tell people about it. read more

This has been a great place for storing my stuff while we were out of the country for the past year. It's not the typical storage concept. Instead, you can rent half or a whole storage container like the ones you see on the back of a train, truck, or ship. We came back to see what condition our things were in after a year. We were pleased to see that there no signs of insects or rodents and the container had sealed out all of the dust. The price and availability were the best in town. And Tol, the manager, is great to work with. It may be a little hard to find this place the first time, but it's well worth the effort. Highly recommended. read more

We moved from South Dakota and our apartment would not be ready for about 3 weeks. We knew we were going to need storage for this time. We made arrangements in advance with Climatized Containers to be ready for us when we arrived. George who I think must be the owner or manager stayed in touch with us on our way to Georgetown to be sure someone would be on site when we arrived. We arrived on Sunday and they were closed but George had a man to help us with unlocking the units and see if we needed anything. They certainly went out of their way to give us great service. We highly recommend this company to assist anyone who needs a storage facility and help with moving. read more

Rented a u haul trailer from this location. The employee which I think was also the owner/manager was awesome. He had all of us (it was packed) in and out in less than 10 minutes each. The facility I can not speak for but as far as the customer service goes it was top notch. I will definitely rent u haul here from now on and if storage is needed I would definitely rent here as well. They gave off a caring vibe and security seems to be pretty tight. This place is amazing and secure!! The owner is amazing!! He helped me unload my truck and helped my back it up. They are not just storage though they also have all size uhual trucks. DEPLOYING for long amounts of time. It's always a worry what is happening to your things but i feel confident when it's here. If your military there nothing more secure than a conex. They have regular and climatized. I would always recommend here!! read more

I loved my experience with Climatized Containers! This is a family run business with incredible customer service. The concept itself is great. These are actual shipping containers that they have made climatized so you get the benefit of a climatized unit, but also the ability to drive right up to the unit, as well as having your unit completely sealed off from other units. At traditional storage units, if there are bugs in someone else's items, they can easily spread to your unit. Because the storage containers here are individually sealed, that doesn't happen. I LOVE that I could drive right up to the unit rather than having to go down a long hallway with an elevator like other places. They also rent Uhaul's which is super convenient. The owner is great and super flexible to help meet the customer's needs. I highly recommend this place for long term or even short term storage. read more
