I have visited this small town location a handful of times to pay rent for a unit at another location. Their payment system, although doesn't accept a chip, accepts more than one payment option as well. The property has plenty of parking, is clean, and setup for social distancing (one customer at a time). They have plenty of supplies for packing needs as well. Elisha, Earnest, and past employees are hard working and sweet, and they try to understand my payment needs and help as best they can. At the end they handed a large, professional placard to write a review. Of course, I let them know I'm a Yelper! No harm done ... I would come back based on these experiences. Thank you! read more

Public Storage - Professional placard - Self Storage Near Me - Georgetown, Texas

The only thing I have negative to say about here is that they say they're open 6am-9pm everyday but if you have an indoor unit you can't get access on weekends no matter what time it is. read more

just rented a unit less than six months ago and asked them if they were going to jack up my rate by 40 to 50% after a few months like all the other storage units and they said they would not.....well low and behold I get a letter in the mail today that my rent was increased by 40% don't fall for the low rates. This place is an absolute scam. read more

Moving our stuff out this weekend and doors are broken again and light to the bathroom doesn't work! Further confirmation we are making the right move to go to the trouble of spending our entire weekend moving to another facility. read more

We were good customers, rent always paid, well cared for unit and they rewarded us by raising our rate almost double. Good riddance.

DO NOT RENT HERE!!!! The entire "climate controlled" storage is infested with MOLD!!!! All of our items in two separate units within the same building are completely ruined and covered in mold. The smell is horrible!!! And there is apparently nothing they can do? No compensation for our items that were destroyed in their mold infested building?? Every single unit is infested, you can see the ceilings covered in mold!!!! $200 a month for a 10x10 and thousands of dollars worth of items are now destroyed. Ridiculous. Save yourself the financial and mental burden of trusting this place with your items, stay away!!!!!!!!! read more

Phones are not answered during business hours, you have to leave a message and you get called back more than an hour later. Had to resolve the issue ourselves. App reader does not work at access points 100% of the time. Not all motion lights work in facility making some hallways darker than others. Unit had cob webs upon move in. Found another facility with a larger unit for the same rate. read more

Jessica is a delight to work with and we are so pleased with our unit. The value is a good one. The security is many layered & the property is clean & neat. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I've had storage for three months and each month I have had late fees and charged for insurance that I did not authorize as I carry my own. The store states they can't take payments or waive fees, I have to do that online or via phone. I call customer service EVERY MONTH and they say I have to go into the store. ABSOLUTE RUN AROUND! It takes several calls to customer service in order to get anyone that can help. I'm moving my items to another storage facility; I do not recommend Public Storage. read more

Mary is wonderful. What a welcoming great place to rent from! I really liked the hands on help with moving in

Really loved the no-contact rental process. I had rented a space within 5 or 6 minutes and had my electronic code. The property itself is extremely clean, everything worked perfectly. Be aware that there are some hidden fees at the time of checkout - administrative fee, lock rental, insurance etc. Not a fan of these, but it's become common place these days, and not enough for me to not recommend them. read more

Elisa has been so far the best reason this place has such a high standard. Her professionalism, honesty, and all around helpful nature

Really nice place to store your stuff. I only used it for a few months but it was a seamless transaction. Place is clean, good value and easy to access. read more

My wife and I needed short-term storage in Georgetown, TX. What we expected were units in the size we chose. What we did not expect was the cleanliness and order of the property, and our units. Most importantly, we did not expect the level of service we received from Elisha, the property manager. She is excellent! - very kind, knowledgeable, and really knows her stuff! Every question was answered instantly. Paul and Lisa read more

Not a fan, reserved move in for the 13th. Due to the INSANE inclement weather, couldn't move in until the 22nd, get to the facility after loading everything!!!!!!! And it's locked, contacted the hotline because it was after hours, the rep told me "just look for another unit with a tab (welcome pack) and let them know during business hours your new unit number." Called the next day to see why MY unit was locked, when I haven't even stepped foot on their property, the property manager preceded to tell me "there was a glitch, and it was rented to two tenant's" said I had to come in, sign a new lease etc. Advised via work hours not feasobale. She said "come on the weekend" mind you,MY TRUCKS PACKED AND LOADED WITH MY STORAGE SUPPLIES!!!!!!!!! CURRENTLY waiting for my refund. read more

Customer service is aggressive and unable/willing to assist failed automated payment process. Every suggestion offered was my responsibility and my action to overcome their inadequate process. I'm in MX, limited internet infrastructure. Previous automated payment process was successful for the previous 12 months. This month's failure was the direct result of my failure to reinstate/ authorize the previous automated process after another payment option was accepted last month. This alternative payment was realtime with a live PS agent. The late fee was nearly 50% of the monthly storage fee. Caution. The after sale service degrades quickly. read more

Signed up at a specific rate, Less then 5 months later they are raising the rate up 33%. A 30 day notice was mailed out stating the rate increase. Find somewhere else, there are other places that will not do this. read more

AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Elisha kept up with me and accommodated me when I showed up way later than my scheduled reservation. I had a few hiccups along the road and she set me up quickly without missing a snippet of information. The fees were more than expected since I have never rented a storage unit before, I didn't know what to expect. Elisha broke everything down in a way that made sense and didn't make me feel like I was asking dumb questions. Five star service and security. I feel happy and stress free about my decision read more

Zaida was very helpful! Everything went smoothly, I was a little blind sided by the starting price (because I didn't think of having to purchase the lock and all the fees) but it seems to be worth it! We reserved a room online, got a call to schedule and appointment to sign the lease, were able to move in the day of signing the lease. read more

Firstly, as of the time of this writing. This place is only two years old. So everything is really nice and new. They also have newer latches on the doors that use cylinder locks instead of the disk padlocks. They're more secure. They sell the cylinder locks for the same price you would pay for one of a similar quality one elsewhere. So we just bought it there. We got three keys. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I was able to add some names to a list of people who are authorized to access my storage unit. So my boyfriend or parents need to pick up or drop off something and they have a key, but they forget my gate code, they can show some ID in the office and be let in. There are two gates on either side of the facility, which makes it easier to get in and out since the main entrance is on a Frontage road. There isn't 24-hour access sadly. Which is understandable since the surrounding area is mostly residential. The gates will stop letting people in at ... I believe 9AM at the time of this writing. That being said, the location is very conveniently placed right along the freeway. So I can grab my camping gear and immediately be on my way. read more

Jessica the property manager is great at her job and actually does her actual job with pride!!!!!! But on another note CORPORATE different STORY ID GiVE THEM 1 STAR the rates keep going up and I honestly next time I'm changing storage companies cause corporate should be about people that been there longer even stuck with them through Covid shouldn't be rising rent fees ever other month that's completely wrong read more

My rent was raised $25+ and I was never contacted regarding the change. I had spoke to a representative online and they were extremely rude and refused to send me to another representative. They will raise your rent prices, say they sent you something regarding the raise, and not actually send it. I do NOT recommend. Now I have to pay the extra, with no warning, AND find a new place. If you like surprises regarding losing money, get a unit here! read more

Excellent service, easy setup. Everything was done online and all instructions texted to me.

Nice property, shame the proprietors that run the site are shysters, do not trust them. They will charge you for locks. even when y ou tell them you have a circular lock already, They will be rude to you, and obnoxious. This is the first time in nearly 20 years I have been using Public Storage, to have received this type of experience. Drive north of this site 1 mile use that facility, not this one!! read more

We needed a simple storage unit, and we chose this particular facility due to it's newness and easily accessible location. when we entered, we were politely greeted by Elisha, who offered her assistance in determining what unit would best meet our needs. During this entire process, from beginning to end, Elisha was nothing less than professional and efficient. She explained every necessary detail thoroughly and clearly. She was an absolute delight to deal with, and we watched her interact with other customers who entered the front desk. Elisha made us feel comfortable and her friendliness let us know we picked the right place to store our property. read more

One of the worst customer service experiences ever. From the front desk lady, to the customer service center. Let's not forget the district manager that did not return a call. We will not do business here ever again. Nice clean facility. Even cleaner after we moved our things out. Tried to do business locally and wish we'd not have stepped foot in this place. read more

$1 first month is a crock. You have to pay an admin fee and buy a lock that can only be used at their facility. EVEN though I already had a security lock I wanted to use. Staff is rude and uncaring. I left as soon as I found a better facility and will NEVER rent from this company again. read more

I must say at first the service and facility was great but man has it gone down hill. Let's start with the elevator....which doesn't work more than half of the time. Trash is everywhere, and they don't seem to take care of this newly built storage. It's sad. I'd suggest you go else where to avoid the headaches. read more

Public Storage in Georgetown, Texas was the perfect place for some of my belongings as I retired and transitioned from the Air Force. I rented from October 2015 until today (25 Jan 2016) and did not have any problems with the climate controlled, first-floor unit. The only suggestion I have for new users is to buy battery-powered lights, so you don't have to use your phone or a flashlight. I got a six-light set from Costco that worked very well. The lights stick to the wall and each has their own batteries. I left my set there, so you might want to ask for the one with lights. I worked with Elisha in October and Erika today at check-out. Both ladies were very professional and made the process very easy and quick! read more

This storage facility was perfect for out temporary storage needs. We sold our home and our new home took 4 more months to finish so we got 2 storage units to store our belongings.
