I wanted a factory spoiler installed on my 2016 Ford Fusion, after going to ABRA and getting rudely turned away because as the manager said "we dont add parts to vehicles that arent there from the factory", i went to Randy Lanes with my request. Right from the start they did what they could to get me in touch with someone that could get me a quote for the task. They happily discussed the job and made sure that i had the essential materials to do the job (i bought my part elsewhere) right without problems. After providing me with a quote, they immediately scheduled with me a time to drop the car off and get the spoiler installed. On the day of the installation, i was unable to get a ride home from the shop. This meant that i would be stuck sitting there and waiting for the job to be completed. With the vehicle being a drop off they really didnt have a set time to work on it during the day. Luckily they offered to give me a ride home (i live right around the block). They even offered to give me a ride back if i was unable to get back to the shop! Hows that for customer service! Can you say awesome? Lets fast forward to about two hours later. They called me to pick up the car. After looking over the work on my car, i went in to settle the bill. The bill was exactly the amount of the quote. Not a penny more. Also, the quality of work was just amazing. Very great place!

They were extremely prompt in scheduling an estimate as soon as I was available. Mark was extremely detail oriented when looking over the damaged areas. He spotted things that I had missed and added it to the estimate. Since State Farm was able to work directly with Caliber in what felt like a seemless manner, I was able to schedule a drop off just a couple of days after the estimate. Granted, they were busy so I had to wait about 2 weeks to fit it in, but thats to be expected and gave me plenty of time to make other arrangements with my insurance company. Immediately after dropping the vehicle off, Mark conducted a final assessment of the vehicle and went over the basic plans of what they anticipate will need replacing and even explained the process they planned on using to fix my quarter panel that was damaged. He made absolutely sure that every question I had was answered before I handed my keys to him. The ladies at the front desk were extremely nice and helped me get set up on their text notification system where I was promptly notified of the completion during the repair. This helped a ton since my vehicle required a collaborative effort between the body shop and wrap shop to be completed on time. Caliber was very responsive when I needed to call them to organize the plans for a tow truck to relocate the vehicle to the other shop when the repair was complete at their shop. After the repair was complete, they had me do an inspection of the vehicle before taking it back. Upon inspection, I found that one of my rain guards had gotten damaged during the repair process. After bringing it to their attention, they assessed the damage and offered to make it right by replacing the damaged unit. In theory, they didn't HAVE to do it, but they wanted to and that goes a long way with me. Overall, this location did a fantastic job on the repair. The paint matched my stock color to a tee (before I went and got it wrapped) and the vehicle looked like it had never been involved in an accident. The only thing that I didn't like about the process was that they needed to bring the vehicle to Bob Sumerel to complete the auto repair portion of the process. They were tasked with completing the alignment and replacing a few parts associated with the alignment. I've had problems with this location in the past and it unfortunately bled into this experience as well. I'm not letting that hinder Calibers overall rating because they did their part and the excelled at it. Hopefully they can find a better shop to partner with down the road though.

They then refused to send the quote into the insurance company until I promised to do the work through them instead of my repair shop of choice. I again asked that they send in the quote, they said they would, then later the State Farm agent told me they contacted the location and that the quote would not be sent in. I was lied to; this practice is just wrong, and CARSTAR wasted my time - all over a minor repair job. You've earned a 1 star review; I hope losing a customer was worth it.

The amount of work that needed to be done was extensive and I was completely out of my element with what to do. I'm so glad I came to Center City. I don't want anyone to miss these key points I experienced so if you only read a little know this: Center City Collision has: Great Customer Service, Commitment to Quality and Safety, Excellent Communication. And here's why: Great Customer Service: I closed on a house the day my car was supposed to be ready and Chris told me not to worry and to just reach out to him when I was ready; that impressed me. The day I picked up the car, I called ahead and asked if they could check the gas tank (I seriously had just filled it up before the accident and after buying the house and paying for the car, I was a little budget conscious, lol). The receptionist (I can't remember her name but I know she's getting married so I want to give her a shout out ; )) gladly checked the gas level for me. Randy helped me get me situated in the car when I picked it up and encouraged me to contact with ANY questions or concerns. They also covered the rental car costs after my insurance coverage was up. Commitment to Quality and Safety: What impressed me the most was that they truly stood by their words that safety and quality were the most important considerations. There was a sensor that they could not reset without special equipment. They partnered with another shop, which spent $1K to update software, to be able to reset the airbag sensor. When that didn't work, they worked directly with the Subaru dealership to have the problem fixed. Excellent Communication: Due to the amount of work that needed to be done (basically had the front end of my car rebuilt), it took several weeks for the repairs to be completed. Chris contacted me consistently to give me updates and explain what was going on with the car. That sent my mind at ease. After the accident, the communication with the tow company and my insurance were not at all proactive. This was not at all the case with Center City. They made what was a pretty traumatic experience have a positive ending.
