We have a high strung beagle who just doesn't do well with boarding generally. Unfortunately, our…read moretravels sometimes require that we board her and over the years here in Omaha, we've settled in on Riverside Meadows being our preferred provider for a couple of reasons. First, I just think the owner here cares more about what is happening and is more involved in the day to day operations and how the animals are handled. Second, Daisy (our beagle) just seems to be less traumatized staying here. At another provider, we got sent home with a bed covered in our dogs urine. What this told us is that they were not letting her out enough. That isn't an issue here at Riverside Meadows because they have some indoor/outdoor options where the dog can go in and out. That seems to work better for Daisy. We just feel Daisy is cared for a bit more here. The downside to this place is that they only take cash or check. No credit cards. Also, their entire system of keeping track of their guests and visits is old school paper and pencil. While I appreciate that some people just prefer that, having a computerized system of doing things seems a bit more organized. The last time I came in they couldn't find our "card" with all of our information. It apparently disappeared, though we've been coming here for years now. So, they seem a bit disorganized from that perspective and could use some updating. Overall though, we have been very happy and will continue to be customers. It's way out west but worth the drive.

Your pet children will have walks, play time and even a bath if you wish, before you take them home. The staff here understands that you love these furry children of yours and will understand if you feel like calling every day while your away to check on them. We have been going to Pawfect Choice for daycare for over a year. I cannot speak highly enough of…read morethis place. My Charlotte is a lot.. and by that, I mean she is a diva, bossy, and typically requires royal treatment. This facility continues to grow and have more and more clients. But they always roll out the red carpet for my girl! They greet her with excitement as soon as she walks in the door, they usually give me a report of her behavior (because I have to know if she behaved ) however, daycare isn't the reason for this review. A few weeks ago I mentioned to April (the groomer) that I may want her to give Charlotte a fresh look, and promised to give her noticed before this diva walks into her salon! I was not expecting Charlotte to cooperate much. But when I picked her up... she looked ready for the Met Gala! She had been bathed, dried. Smelled great, her pants, legs, and body were trimmed, all of her nappy fur and the undercoat was gone. I felt so much relief and stress lift off my shoulders. Her undercoat has taken over my house this summer. I've never seen so much shedding. To some people this place is just a groomer, or just a daycare. To us these people are Charlotte's home away from home. They love her and spoil her and I carry so much trust in them to treat her as she expects (like royalty) Thank you all for everything you do for her and for my heart!! Here is a little before and after picture of my Auss-Hole and yes the coffee table is her throne

I would never trust these people with my dogs ever again. Don't let their nice attitude make you believe they actually care about taking care of your dogs.
